Oy... this episode... It was the reason I feel the show should keep going.
hello. Can you say, "there's another deminsion"... as in a whole second world that is never messed with in the show. "We learned that there is another deminsion on the other side." eek
OMG..... and just how exactly did the scubs learn this?
Second thing, I think I figured out why Adrock didn't speak.
Keep in mind that Studio Bones is also the group responsible for Fullmetal Alchemist. I think they didn't want to duplicate what they did with Hoenheim (can't spell it I know it's wrong) of Light.
If Adrock had played a bigger part people would have compaired it to Edward and his father. Hoenheim (butcher it Toller Butcher! Burcher!) showed up right about at this point in Fullmetal and they must have chose to use Diane for this purpose instead. (MMmmmmm Diane).

They learned it because the limit of questions was reached once, and the rift appeared. That's why the scubs went to sleep-so everyone wouldn't go POOF! xd
I dunno how to spell his name either...I just say "Ed's dad". xd
But yeah, that makes sense. Also, I have pics of Diane and you don't! I have pictures! NYAH! xd

Finally got to see it! (my friend got it on DVR and burned it to a DVD-RW for me)
Anyway, the other reason why Adrock didnt talk is because...well...he has no voice actor! xd He doesnt speak a single word in the entire series according to the Wiki.
BTW I still prefer Eureka over Diane smile

I hate the way they draw Diane in that episode. The next one has a much better animator who draws her great without messing up the lines.
But neither of them really do her justice. If you pay attention, you'd see that in the first ep we saw her face, which was the flashback to when she and Holland were dating, you'd see that that animator was much better than both of them.

Oh thanks for the pic Steveeo. thats a good one. Yeah, her hair is really 70's -ish isn't it. At least it's not like every other anime hairstyle. There's what? 5 main hairstyles in anime?
Oh, I thought of something today. Smacked myself in the head for not thinking of it sooner.
OF COURSE THERE'S ANOTHER DIMENSION!
I mean, this is earth... and it's bones studio.... so how many people can say Shambala! Of course Eureka takes place thousands of years after present day and Fullmetal took place decades before present day... but still. The other dimension would have to be the world of Ed and Al.
Atleast, it made sense to me at lunch time. Looking at it typed out it looks really corny.

Also, I have an odd thing I noticed too.
Notice how Diane points out that inside the command cluster, they exist as pure energy? Well, that makes sense when you take into account the desperation diseased people, their minds are just lost. But with Diane and Adrock, something interesting comes up.
What happened to their bodies?? eek
I mean, did they fuse with the scub coral? Or are their bodies somewhere no one's looked? I get the feeling it's the first one.....

I think what happened was this:
10,000 years ago the Coralians landed on Earth.
3,000 years ago the Limit of Questions was reached and a dimensional hole was created. Some Coralians went to the other Earth and went into hibernation. So now both worlds have Coralians.
Meanwhile at 3,000 years, the humans were scared of the Coralians and went to the second Earth. THey didn't know that the Coralians went also.
xp They tried to get away, but they were just following the Coralians.

I feel the need to watch that episode again. It's confusing me, for some reason. D:
I got that the Corallians landed 10000 years ago, and that the Limit of Questions was reached. I understand that the universe will rip at some point, unless the Corallians and Humans can learn to co-exist, or something like that.
The second Earth thing is what confused me. DayDay, you said that they went to the second Earth, and the Corallians were already there? I thought it was that the Humans left, because the Corallians were taking over the first Earth, and then some years later the humans came back to Earth.
Is that right, or should I watch the episode on YouTube again? I had a short attention span during the episode that required a lot of attention. D;

You know, this is probably why I try not to over think things. I'll just get more confused. razz
I think it's as what Diane said, or what I believe she said.
Coralians come; humans leave for long time; coralians take over the planet; humans come back to the same planet, except a layer of coralians is covering original Earth; time passes and then all this happy stuff with Renton, Eureka, and the Gekkostate happens.
I'm just going to keep it simple and believe this is all the same dimension. I don't want to keep thinking about it. razz
Now, since apparently there is a second dimension, maybe that's that place where the coralians made that library; maybe that's the second dimension. Where else could the library have come from? Maybe after that limit of questions and there was that tear, the coralians found that second dimension and made something out of it, i.e. the library.
Like I said, I'm not going to try and overthink it. razz
