As for the question on RP etiquette, I suppose it's more of an observation. I've noticed that people tend to direct other characters with no indication of permission being granted by the actual player. Is that typical or is there permission being granted behind the scenes? I suppose an example of what I mean will be necessary.Example 1: Directing RoChan clapped her hands drawing Chloe's attention. Example 2: Indirection RoChan clapped her hands in hopes of drawing Chloe's attention. I'm more used to example 2 unless I have gained that permission from the person which I then post in my post so that people are aware that it's not self direction but done with permission. :3

Oooh, I think this is the first concept I've seen where the concept Raevan would be born with some kind of impairment. :3 Very nice, and the fel essence idea is very unique.
The soul ties in all too well and leaves room for a lot of interesting ideas! XD I wonder how Io would be affected by different phases of the moon, or a harvest moon. Here's to hoping we see this idea in play soon.

RoChan As for the question on RP etiquette, I suppose it's more of an observation. I've noticed that people tend to direct other characters with no indication of permission being granted by the actual player. Is that typical or is there permission being granted behind the scenes? I suppose an example of what I mean will be necessary. Example 1: Directing RoChan clapped her hands drawing Chloe's attention. Example 2: Indirection RoChan clapped her hands in hopes of drawing Chloe's attention. I'm more used to example 2 unless I have gained that permission from the person which I then post in my post so that people are aware that it's not self direction but done with permission. :3 RoRo I've actually noticed that same thing as well. I can't really say what a definite answer would be, but from what I've garnered myself and the conclusion that I've formed is as such:
- the Shop owner and RP managers/assistants, such as Kyou in particular, and Chloe, Tsu, etc can take "control" of a given situation or subtlely manipulate the Raevans in order to push an RP along and direct the plotline (if there is one).
- some of the owners who know each other well and RP often probably talk about things beforehand and reached an agreement of what extent of "assumption" would be acceptable before RP'ing. That and keep IMs open while RP'ing.
- most of the times I think the assumptions are really implied. Even if the RP was written in a "directing" manner the participants of the RP still have the power to choose to accept or decline that direction. For example you could say RoChan RoChan clapped her hands drawing Shuu's attention. However this does not mean that Shuu is forced to respond with Shuura Shuura looked up at the sound of RoChan clapping. but could also choose to ignore the direction and say Shuura However Shuura was too immersed in her video games to notice that someone was clapping in an effort to get her attention. Personally I think this is a give or take kind of thing. What I've noticed is that there is a certain level of trust amongst the owners while RPing so this kind of lesser level of direction or assumption is tolerated with the mutual acceptance that the other party is free to accept or decline that direction regardless of what you write (or get mad if you direct too much). Through RP you start to get a feel of the limits and boundaries of each different owner as well. Of course it never goes so far as to control the other characters, but overall small assumptions of reactions to a particular action seems to have been tolerated, and these assumptions also are not set in stone and can be changed.
A reason I think this is carried out is because non-directing RP, while more respectful, is a lot more time-consuming.
of course all of this is just my own take on the matter, I could very well be wrong but this is what I have concluded anyway rofl

rofl Well it's understandable if there is a level of trust between each player that assumptions can be made on certain things. :3 I just don't see much from this end in order to make that determination. 8D Thanks hon so much for clearing that up for me! <3
XD Love your reaction to the clapping with the video game! *laughs*

Ok after not a lot of consideration or thought ((ROFL!!)) I am debiting to change the gender to a male. D: I'm not a strong female player so I'm just going to go back with what I know and play a boy. *w*
OR just possibly make it a boyish girl. D: I want a handsome girl! TAT

It's really up to you. It's better to RP something that you are more comfortable with so you don't end up regretting it later =D

Huh. :oa Boyish girl could be interesting; I don't think any of the lady-Raevans that exist so far have many tomboyish qualities (and just for the record, I highly doubt mine will either even though she has the soul of a male animal that can be associated with a male diety XD). But you'd be surprised at how well you can do with RPing a personality type you're unfamiliar with, not to mention it can be fun.
Beyond that, though, I'm all for seeing a dashing gentleman with boobs handsome girl here. 8D

XD *laughs* Thanks for the vote Mouse! *starts scribbling a sketch for the new genderbender Io* If I make it a handsome girl she has to have the Alpha Male complex and want to find an Alpha Female. °w° <3
I was also thinking back at your comment about the phases of the moon, I admit that I didn't take into consideration the Harvest moon so thinking on it some more it would be cool that every time there was a harvest moon the world for Io would be flooded in that amberish color. XD Or even a red mood *w* that would increase her need to hunt something. 8D hurhur
In other thoughts... D: I found the rune I want for Io. GEBO (yee-boe)
Meanings: Gifts, Sacrifice, Generosity, Charity, Honor, Bonding, Loyalty, Relationships, Forgiveness.
Gebo is the rune which represents the importance of our relationships with other people, of love, loyalty and good partnerships. It may also signify an offering of some kind, spiritual or material, wherein there is a price of personal sacrifice, and you are given the choice to receive it or not. However, this rune has a positive connotation, ensuring us that whatever the price may be, the rewards will be great.
