It's Raining, It's Pouring...

Wen. July 6th

A beautiful, young girl sat at the windowsill, her rosy cheek pressed up against the chilled glass as she stared out at the grayed skies. It was raining- the way she liked it- and as the transparent liquid streaked down the windowpane, she lifted her hand to run her finger over the path it left behind.
A loud boom cracked and the sky lit up, breaking the silence surrounding her, she let out a gasp as her body jolted unexpectedly, then she suddenly found herself in complete darkness.
The lightning must have struck, for now she realized she was shrouded in darkness for lack of electricity. She rose to her feet, her long hair spilling over her shoulders as grabbed a near by flashlight. The small pillar of light seemed to glow as bright as the sun in the smothering darkness of the room, and she was certainly glad for it when she heard a rustling not to far off, the flashlight allowing her to see with ease.
"Hello? Bobby, is that you?" Came her honey sweet voice, a song in the silence for the storm.
"Bobby..is dead..And now it's your turn." Was the reply, and a shrill scream emitted from the young girl, the flashlight going out as it hit the floor.

The sound of thunder caused Gabo to jump, and he quickly grabbed a pillow from the sofa he was sitting on, clinging to it immediately afterward. "Why do I keep watching these scary movies?..I'm gonna give myself a heart attack.." The half demon looked out the window, ignoring the T.V.-It was raining..Just like in the movie..A lump rose in the blue haired boy's throat as he thought of this.
But there was a distinct difference, all the lights were on..Who would be foolish enough to watch such things in the dark? This brought him relief, though it didn't last long, for another bout of thunder made him jump.
Gabo found himself in darkness-The lights had gone out! "T-this is just a..Coincidence..Stuff like this happens all the time..R-right?" The boy grabbed a flashlight, and then quickly ran outside to the porch. There was no way he was going to become a victim!
A noise caught his attention, prying him from his thoughts. "WHO'S THERE!?" Gabo asked in a panicking voice, trying his best to steady his shaking hand as he pointed the light towards the sound.
His trashcans were knocked over. Had they wind done it? Somehow he doubted that..
But all his suspicion melted away at what he saw! What looked to be a dog was lying next to one of the cans, his fur wet and knotted. He wasn't moving- was he still alive?
"You poor thing.." Gabo was outside now, his damp hair falling to cover his eyes no matter how many times he whipped it away. This was a strange dog indeed..A collared dog, with a strange jewel embedded on it's forehead.
And stranger still, the dog had a small bracelet with a silver chain on his front leg. The half demon stroked the red fur, taking notice of the dog's large paws. Had he ever seen such a puppy with large feet?
Without thinking twice, the boy scooped the limp body into his arms, heading back for the house...

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Fri. July 8th

Dear Diary,

It has been at least a day since I had found the small pup out in the storm, and I had done my best to nurse the poor thing back to health. I fed him, brushed out the tangled knots of his red fur, and made him a comfy bed in the corner of my room to sleep in.
He spends most of his time there, and oddly enough he hadn't moved since I put him there the night I discovered him. He appears to still be breathing, but perhaps he's sick?
On a lighter note, I've never seen such a magnificently mysterious animal. What was he doing out in the rain, and why is he wearing a collar with no tags? Could it be that he belongs to someone? And whatever could that blue jewel and silver chained bracelet be for? So many questions, so little answers..
I've searched a few animal books to see what breed of dog he could be, but I didn't see anything in there that even remotely looked like him..Except the husky of course, but I didn't think that they came in red. Maybe he's half wolf, then? Or maybe even full! Guess I'll never know until he grows a bit.

--Gabo

Gabo closed the cover to his diary, placing it on the draw next to his bed.
The half demon glanced over at the small bed in the corner on the floor, only to find that it was empty! "What the..?"
Hopping out of the comfort of his warm bed, he rushed over to the small basket, lifting it up to check underneath. Just then, he noticed something in the doorway to his room, and as he stood up, he realized what it was--A small child!
Gabo could hardly believe his eyes at what he saw, not only was he surprised at the presence of a child, but this boy had the same decorative blue jewel and bracelet as the puppy he had found...

Storm's First Encounter With The TOR

Fri. July 15th

Dear Diary,

As you may have guessed already, the puppy I found turned out to actually be a wolf--and not only that, he was a red wolf. I've been doing some research on the red wolf, and they're subposably a rare breed.
But stranger still, the wolf reveiled itself to my as a human baby boy, I hope there aren't any more surprises..
And for some reason, this child doesn't seem to respond to things like a normal human would. He prefers to just stare at things for long periods of time.
But I know he is intelligent, I can see it in his eyes.
I took him to a place called the TOR HQ, hoping that he'd open up if he were to be with other children like him.
It worked, for the most part. He met with a few lovly children, and one even managed to get his attention.
Perhaps I'll bring him there again sometime?

Mosreal:The Gentle Lamb

Dear Diary,

Sorry I haven''t writen latly, I''ve been busy with some things. Though, on the brightside, Storm made a friend. His name is Mosreal, but he likes to be called Mos.
When I brought Storm back to the HQ, I wasn''t sure if he''d even pay attention to the other children, but I was wong. Infact, his more active now then ever, thanks to Mos.
He seems to be most alert when around Mos, but when we got home from the HQ he actually looked at me when I was talking to him. It seems that the ice surrounding his mind is thawing.
But the ice around his heart still stands firm, he''s yet to display much emotion. Perhaps it had to do with his punishment?
Anyway, Storm found a book somewhere, and he gave it to me..It seems to have to do with his past, but where did he get it? I''m not sure if I''m ready to read it yet...

Home Again, Home Again

Aug. 4th

Dear Diary,

I missed my little Storm while he was away at Mos'' house, but he''s back at his own home now. I can tell that he had fun just by looking at him, his face seems softer, he''s more aware of his surroudings, and he''s getting alittle better at showing his emotions. Infact, I think he misses his little friend.
While he was gone, I set up the extra room just for him, consitering he can''t sleep in that little dog bed anymore. It''s painted a light shade of purple, and I made sure to set up a bunk bed in there, just incase he decideds to have a sleep over someday.
We''ll have to envite Mos over sometime.

Dante, the Dreadlocked Tomboy

Aug. 20ish

Dear Diary,

Today Storm met another ToR, a lovly, blue haired girl named Dante. They seemed to be getting along well at first, but since Dante is blind, she wanted to feel what Storm looked like.
There's nothing wrong with that, and Storm allowed her to explore freely, thought I doubt he would have had a choice in the matter. Everything was going well, until Dante just started crying, and looking at her hands as if she had been burt.
Mos' seemed to take offence to this whole episode, and wouldn't let Dante come near Storm.
I'm not quite sure why this happened, but Storm seems to blame himself, and he's been a little down latly. But I'm sure everything will work itself out, right?

On the upsided, he did get to see Ingina for a while. She's a sweet girl, perhaps her and Storm will get to know eachother a little more?

Don't Quit Your Day Job..

Aug. 4th

Dear Diary,

Storm now has shorter hair..How did this happen? Well, Dante seems to have a grudge against Storm for the accident that happened a while ago, it seems. Now Storm's pink hair sticks up randomly in ridged tuffs, but Mos seemed to like it, so I'm sure that makes him feel a little better about the situation.
I suppose I'm going to have to buy him a hat..

~Gabo

Gabo sat on a chair in his living room, Storm in his lap as his father tried desperatly to comb his hair. It looked a little better from when Dante had cut it, but it hadn't grown much.
The half demon set a black baseball cap on the pink haired boy's head, placing him gently on the floor.
"Atleast Mos liked it, right?" The black haired man stated, trying to lift the spirits of the pouting child before him. He'd been like that since the incident..

Storm sat on the floor, arms crossed, looking straight ahead. He seemed more saddened then angery, a fragile pout played upon his lips. Though, perhaps Mos' presence would make him feel more at ease, or so he told himself.

Pavement

PostPosted: Sat Sep 17, 2005 9:28 pm

Pave drove almost erratically in the streets, swerving and looking around. Perhaps she should have made a dry-run to find where Gabo's house was? She cursed her bad sense of direction until she spotted the right zip-code. "Aha!" She shouted. The cigarette on her lip fell onto her lap and she swore loudly, picking it up and just managing to not crash into a tree. She stopped the car and got out, stepping around the side to take Mos out.

Mos rolled his eyes at his mother's antics. She was so crazy. He giggled a little when she swore. He liked those words! He looked around at her when she hurried out of the car and was interested when she unbuckled his safety seat and picked him up.

Pave walked up the driveway and knocked tentatively on the door. Mos rested on her hip and looked intently at the door. He was excited now, he thought he knew what was coming.

Gabo was about to say something to his pouty son when something made him jump; a knock at the door?
"They're here!" The half demon exclaimed, his tail wagging from side to side.
He made a mad dash to the door, checking to see if everything was in order before he opened the door to his awaiting company.
The dark haired demon just about threw open the door, not minding his strength, a welcoming smile complete-with-fangs greeted those at the door.
"Hey! Come in." Gabo offered, moving his hand in odd geastures.

Storm didn't look up at first, intent on his self mooping as he stared at nothing, but a certain feeling appeared, his sensitive noise picking up a familliar scent. His eyes moved up, traveling the distence between him and the door, then he was Pave.

Pave grinned. "Hey Gabo!" She looked down at Storm. "Hey there Storm."
"You're house is [expletive] hard to find, Gabs." Pave let a word slip there, but didn't notice it for a second. Her eyes opened wide and she profusely apologized. "Oh, it's a habit, I'm awful!" She sighed.

Mos looked sharply downward at the mention of Storm's name. He spotted a black baseball cap, but not his wonderful Storm. Then Storm was facing Pave and Mos could see his face. "STORM!" He cried thunderously. He wriggled in Pave's arms and reached his arms needily downward, trying to get to Storm. He missed him so much, and his wonderful hair.

((XD Now I'm awful.))
PostPosted: Sat Sep 17, 2005 9:56 pm

Gabo closed the door behind Pave and Mos as they entered, his tail still wagging slightly.
The half demon looked slightly confused when Pave apologized, not quite sure what her reason had been. The he let out a chuckle, shaking his head.
"No problem, I have the same issue. It's all good."

Storm almost smiled as Mos called out his name, out-streached arms witch he flailed around. Same old Mos. The pink haired boy upturned his head, looking away from his long haired friend. He did this playfully, of course, as this would only agitate Mos more.

Pave laughed and nodded. "Well, it looks like Mos has already noticed Storm." She bounced Mos a little.

Mos ignored Pave and whined a little. Storm was not looking at him anymore. "Stooooooorm." He whined pitifully.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 18, 2005 9:12 am

"I'd say.." The half demon chuckled, going to fetch Storm from the ground to bring the boy closer to Mos.

Storm looked up at Gabo, surprised that he had been picked up, and as he got closer and closer to his black haired friend, he couldn't ignore the boy any longer. Storm held out his hand, then took it back without thinking.
A few strands of his hair covered one eye completly, obscuring his vision.

Mos put his own hand out and dropped it too. He reached out both hands again and tried to tug at the black cap that covered Storm's hair. He grabbed the rim and pulled, but couldn't quite manage the strength to lift it. Pave laughed at him quietly.

"Little kids, so cute." She commented.
