Sirius let out a pained whinny as he felt the teeth of the coyote sink into his left hind leg. "Foul dog!" He cursed, losing his balance due to the canine and falling to his side.
"What buisness is this gift of your's!?" He demanded yet again, "That should call for such agression!" This was all strange to him..Brisco would be ashamed if he found out that his younger brother lost to a mere coyote.

"I told you... It is the Gift of the Unknown." The sound of a smirk that could not be seen was clear in his voice as he stalked closer to the Soquili. "You will live but it will no longer be the life you once knew. You will eat but it will not be grass that you crave... And until it begins to take hold you will find yourself wondering exactly what it is. It is unknown... And you will fear."
His last word was whispered fiercly, blending into a growl as he lunged at the fallen stallion, meaning to take a chunk out of his neck. It would not kill him, as he had said it would not... It would seal the curse he had started.

'Gift..of the Unknown..' Was the last thing he thought before those teeth again. Sirius knew very well he wasn't going to venture into the forest alone again if he lived through this and he very well would not go back to his two-legger. She would freak on him!
Sirius shook his head in a vain attempt to shake the coyote off of his neck. He wouldn't let him win. He couldn't dissapoint his brother.

He pulled back after taking his 'taste' of the Soquili, letting his tongue trail over his lips. There was nothing sweeter than the taste of fear... "Enjoy your life, Soquili... Or what's left of it." His laughter followed the sound of his footsteps as he disappeared into the woods that he had come from... And then there was a final howl before the forest fell silent again.

Sirius shuddered, pulling himself to his hooves. These events...he had to leave this place, but fear was not going to let him. He dare not venture into the darkness with that thing still out there. Instead of leaving, he merely, slowly walked over next to a tree trunk and lay down, resting his head against the bark.
'Left of it..whatever could he mean...?' Questions wondered in his mind at what the coyote had spoken of. And another question was why had he left him? Sirius had not heard of a coyote or wolf leave their prey after they won.
