This time he did laugh, although the sound was soft and more from amusement than anything meanspirited. He followed after the filly, using his nose to gently guide her to her hooves once more. "Careful... Ah know it's a big excitin' place... But if you take it jus' a bit slower y'might not land on your nose s'much."
He tried to set an example for the filly, taking one slow step... Then another, moving towards Rogue. "Over here's your momma... She's probably better at explainin' stuff like this than Ah am. Jus' one foot in front o' th'other." He smiled, turning his head back towards her. He wasn't sure if she understood him yet or not... Heck, he still wasn't sure whether or not his oldest three understood him but it was worth a shot. One could always hope that something made it through.
He then turned towards Rogue for a moment. "They fine... Jus' look. Nothin' wrong, Rogue."
He followed the instructions given by the soft voice... One wobbly leg followed by the next until he was, miraculously, standing without falling. He'd start with that, looking around with wide, bright eyes. Wow. The World Outside the Basket was big.

"That's my boy." She beamed at the little green colt as he stood up and managed to balance myself. She couldn't believe it was real. Well she could but it was still a feeling she never thought she'd have. She was a mother and her little ones were out in the world and now they had a family, a family.
She was worried for a moment as the filly crashed into the ground herself but Remy seemed to have it under control. He was a good father though the thought that it was because he was one before hurt slightly. She shook her head slightly, that didn't matter.
Leaning her head down she nickered at the little blue colt who was still standing off on his own. "Come here little one. Let mama get a good look at you."
She smiled at Remy as he spoke to her. "I suppose .... doesn't mean i want those two near them"
His ears swiveled toward the Soft Voice as it spoke to him. Mama? What was Mama? Taking a few careful steps he made his way over to the Soft one and the other ones his size. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all.
His eyes were adjusting to the light and the two bigger ones were there and he could stand.

The filly laid there on the ground for awhile, her ears flicking softly to the soft crooning of the deep voice of the midnight stallion. Suddenly a smile broke on her face and she picked herself up.
Her body was too large for her spindly legs. Wiggling from side to side she slowly mimiced the stallion. An explosive whinny of joy escaped her as she threw her head back. Going quicker now she went into a slow trot making her way over to the towering figure of the green one and the smaller green one.
She carried herself proudly, her little tail flicking from side to side. Growing more confident with every step.

"That's mah girl!' He laughed as he followed after the filly, joining Rogue and the rest of their little family. "All present, accounted for an' standin'." He tossed his head back, letting it stay proudly lofted as he looked from foal to foal before finally letting his gaze linger on Rogue.
He stretched his head out, gently nuzzling the green mare's neck. "Have Ah ever told you how beautiful you are when you smilin', chere?"
Seeing Dark Blue One making its way over with Strong One made him puff up with his own little bit of pride. He'd done it first! He'd stood first!
He gave 'Mama' a nudge before wiggling between she and the Strong One, leaning against Remy's side. It was comfortable here. Nice and warm... And he didn't have to worry about making his own legs do all of the work.

"No you haven't. How about you do?" She tilted her head slightly and nuzzled him gently. They had their own little family and everyone was healthy and happy and she didn't know if she'd ever been this happy in her life.
As the filly came over and leaned down and nuzzled her carefully. "You're going to be a little handful aren't you? Just like your Dah."
He walked around carefully until he could stand near the Soft one and the Strong one. The other green one was leaning against the Strong one and seemed to like it. Shaking himself slightly he trotted over, almost tripping, and leaned against 'Mama'.

The filly looked up at the large nose of her 'momma' and neary crossed her eyes. She grined and let out a bleeting giggle shaking her short white mane from side to side.
Her red eyes looked at the mare before her with childhood wonderment and glee. Sure her brothers had stood first.. but she was special too!
The mares words where strange to her, she tilted her head side to side trying to understand piches and meaning. Her ears flicked softly against her velvet neck and she dropped her gaze to her siblings. They seemed less content to listen and more content to curl up against the large ones. Some help they were!
She raised her gaze again and looked up at her mother again. A questioning trill escaped her throat as she tried to form it into words.

"You beautiful when you smilin'. You should do it more often, chere." He nickered softly as he returned the nuzzle. This was the start of it... He had learned that every family had their rocky moments and he was sure that this small extension would wind up having a fair share of there own but, for now, everything was perfect. That was what mattered.
After a moment he lifted his head to look at his foals. All three of them resembled him in some way, shape or form. It both amazed and entertained him. None of his other foals had really looked anything like him except for Sedi... "They beautiful too, chere. Ah think they got tha best o' us."

She rested her head against his neck for a moment. "Can't do it too often or you'd start to get used to it." She had a feeling though that she would be doing it more often with the three little ones running around. Just the thought of them made her want to smile, they were hers and no one could take that away.
She nodded slightly as his nest words. "Hopefully the colts will be as strong as you so when they get themselves into trouble they can get out of it." There was no way that foals of Remy's wouldn't find their way into some sort of trouble.
As the little filly tried to speak she laughed softly and leaned down to touch her nose to the little one's neck. "Trying already?" She had a feeling that this little one was going to surprise her at every turn.
He watched for a bit as his Mama nuzzled the Strong one and the other blue one. Yawning slightly he closed his eyes and decided that today had been too exciting already.

The little filly went cross eyed as her mothers large green muzzle caressed her small midnight blue one. Once she realised what was going on she gave an excited bleet and jumped up tossing her head back. Green one had touched her, and it felt nice.
She pranced for a few minutes in a victory of sorts before plopping to the ground in front of the green ones feet. Her eyes where slowly getting heavy and she wanted to sleep. As she drifted slowly into the land of nod, she continued to try and speak her lips forming small sylabiles until at last what could maybe be considered a word.. if one was hopeful, "Maaaa...." was whispered before she fell asleep.
