((FAMILY REUNION TIME! BWAHAHA!))
"Come on, Daddy! It's not that early! It's after noon! Why aren't you awake yet?" Sigal poked at her father, wondering when he had become fully nocturnal. He usually woke up some time after noon, but now he was complaining about being up. It wasn't that early. Really.
"Because I'm getting old." His daughter was all grown up now. All grown up, and had a mate. Nothing could really make you feel old like thinking that your child might start having children of her own.
"Hey, look, there are others on the beach! Maybe we know some of them! Come ooooooon, you're walking so slow! I betcha I can beat you to the beach!" Sigal shouted, as she started running for the beach.
Ari was perfectly content to let Sigal beat him there. He still wasn't fully awake yet. Sigal had decided that a 'family trip to the beach' was exactly what they needed, and wouldn't let him go back to sleep after she had finally managed to make him wake up.
Sigal stopped running once she saw exactly who was there.
"TWILIGHT! MOMMY!" she squealed, looking at both of them, and then pounced on her sister.
Heartbreak was there? If it weren't for the fact that Sigal had forced him into this, Ari would have turned to leave right then and there. He wasn't quite sure why Sigal was so eager to see her mother and sister, since she had barely seen either of them, but Sigal tended to get excited over the oddest things, so he wouldn't worry about it.
Rina had been wandering about in one of the palm tree groves, but the shouts from the beach drew her to seek out what was happening over there.

"Nope. Nothing's fun going on. And we're on a beach for goodness sake! It's suppose to be fun here!" Isis kicked the sand absent-mindedly, but looked up when there were shouting. He didn't regconize any of the new Modis, but the female looked a lot like Heartbreak...
Danzo, in a deep sleep, ignored the noise and dreamed about chasing rabbits. ((XD))
Twilight instantly fell over from Sigal, her sister. But she was still laughing all the same.
"Sigal! Where did you come from? Aren't you with that tribe or something?" She nibbled her sister's ear affectionetly.
Heartbreak opened her mouth to say something to Rae, but was interrupted by the shouts of her daughter. And if she was here, then that would mean...
She swiveled her head around the beach, until her eyes locked onto Ari. Heartbreak didn't growl, but her face still told it all.

"I'm just with Daddy's tribe because he's looking out for me. But I'm not going to join official, or anything. They do weird things, like sleep during the day!" Sigal still couldn't believe half of the crazy things Daddy's tribe did. She hoped the others were more normal.
Ari stared at Heartbreak, not looking any more pleased to see her, than she was to see him. Why did Heartbreak have to be at this beach when Sigal decided that she wanted to come here?
Rina approached the group of gathered modifoxes slowly, looking at them curiously. She recognized brother, and her niece, and there was a modifox who looked very much like brother, who was, Rina supposed, brother's other daughter. And then would that modifox glaring at brother be the mother of those two? Yes, that seemed likely. Rina knew that brother did not particularly like the modifox whom he mated with, but she had never heard the particular deatails of that story.

"Gah, how lame, nothing to burn?" Pyre asked, his pyromania kicking in. He looked over at Ari, then to Heartbreak, then back to Ari. "So, who's the shmuk?"

Jin kicked Pyre, rolling her eyes. "Have some more sensitivity, will you? Honestly. Males." She sent Pyre another warning look quickly.
Rae tensed. Oh Gods. I'm in the middle of an awkward family reunion. Somebody save me... She looked around wildly, and found no way to easily excuse herself.
Loki shared a sidelong glance with Anjafey. This was bound to be a disaster. "I suppose I should go save Rae, huh?"
Anjafey shrugged. "Only if you want to be caught up in this as well. Perhaps being an Elder would protect you, but I doubt it."

Pyre gulped, remebering the last time she got Jin mad at him. He couldn't hear for half the day. "Erm...Sorry?" Pyre said questioningly.

Silvie clawed at the palm tree in frusturation. She wanted a coconut! Digging her claws into the tree again, she pulled herself up only to slide down again. "GRAW!" Silvie shouted angerly at the coconuts at the top. She then walked awayh and tripped over a shell. "Eep!" One of her paws kicked at it, sending it flying into the tree. Silvie froze before examining the palm tree. The shell wasn't far in enought to kill it, but, as Silvie discovered, made a nice paw step. Grabbing more sharp shells, the Modifox gingerly steped on the first shell, and the a second one that she drove into the tree on purpose. It took several tries to get to the top, three of them on the account that the shells fell out. In the end however, Silvie was peeking out from behind large leafs. "Yay!" She cried. Now to get the coconuts. Slicing though the stems was tough and hurt her claws but she felt happy as she watched the last coconut fall to the ground. Instead of going down the shell steps again, Silvie slashed over several large leaves, let the fall, and jumped down onto the untidy pile. It still hurted. Wincing, Silvie took one of the coconuts and, poking a hold first with a shell since her claws ached, sucked on it akwardly. It was awful! Tossing it away, the modifox growled at it and tried another. This coconut tasted better and Silvie tilted her head to get the milk easier.

Jin stared in confusion at another female fox who was flailing about in the palm trees. She sighed and shook her head, deciding not to say anything.

Pyre looked at the fox flailing around in the palm trees like she was some kind of Phsyco. When she jumped out, he went over to her. "Hey, are you hurt?"

Hearbreak could sense that the other Modifoxes are feeling uncomfortable, being caught up in an awkward reunion. She glanced around the beach and spied a ring of palm trees far away from everyone else.
"If you want to talk, talk away from here." She said to everyone, but more to Ari, Twilight, and Sigal. She scampered off to the palm trees, wondering if anyone would follow.
Twilight watched her mom leave, and stared at everyone else. Feeling confused, she followed Heartbreak for the heck of it.
Amor knew that the place Heartbreak and Twilight were heading was suppose to be 'private', but he still wanted to know what was going on. He leaped to the top of the rock closest to the palm trees.
Isis, deciding to ignore what was going on, glanced at the grey Modifox and snickered. That was a creative way to get a coconut.

Jin sighed again and looked at Isis. "Does stuff like this always happen?"
Sheik approached Danzo curiously. He poked him in the shoulder, making sure he was still alive.
Rae sighed in relief and then noticed that Amor was following the family. She groaned, but decided to do nothing. It wasn't her business. Instead, she walked over to Loki and Anjafey. "Hello there you two."
Anjafey smiled and nodded to Rae. "Nice to see you again, Rae."

Pyre padded over to where sheik was. "That's no way to see if he's still alive, this is how!" Pyre took a long stick and prodded Danzo in the stomach. "Wake up ya lazy bum."

Sigal followed Twilight, wanting to spend more time with her sister, now that she was here. And maybe her mother, too. Mom couldn't be nearly as bad as Daddy said. Right?
Ari sighed, and followed the rest of his family, although not before glaring at the fox who had called him a shmuk. He was going to deal with that one later. Right now, he needed to make sure that this family reunion didn't go over too badly.
Rina watched the four modifoxes go off. She was curious as to how that would turn out, but she respected brother, and so she would not pry into his personal matters. Instead, she would find something to keep herself occupied here. There were plenty of modifoxes around, so surely she would be able to get along with at least one of them well.

Rae looked over and found Rina nearby. She smiled and nodded her head in acknowledgment, but didn't head over to her. She preferred to let others start conversation.

Rina stared discreetly at Rae, trying to figure out whether Rae had been nodding at her or not. True, she did know Rae slightly, but Rina did not believe that Rae thought her a friend. And Rae was not approaching her, either. Perhaps that nod was merely polite acknowledgment, and not any genuine greeting.
Yet still, Rina returned the nod. She recognized that another of the modifoxes wore the tattoo of brother's tribe, but of those left at the beach, she supposed Rae was the one she was best acquainted with.
