I also tend to believe that if Christians do accept the Mark that God will judge them harshly for that will mean that they have turned their back to him.
The question is then, what IS the mark of the beast?
If you say that implanting chips (generally my friends, please keep an open mind on this) is the mark of the Beast because it is the worst of technology (according to what it seems like from most people's perspective) then I honestly say that I don't believe that it is the Mark.
Techonology has brought out both the best and worst of mankind. One wonders why though, at the end of the day, why did God give us this knowledge in the first place. I'm for everything that enchances human life, and helps us not only to discover ourselves, but God as well.
For me, this also means preserving the lives of the elderly. If this chip had been implanted in my grandmother, she would not have had her treatment delayed because they were looking for her files.
And in a marked difference from the rest: I WOULD HAVE THE CHIP IMPLANTED.
If God can provide food for the animals and nourishment for the plants, how much more would He give us?
This is still up to an individual's choice, of course.
