I can follow directions as far as recipes go, but as for efficiency and skill, I have none. -_-;
Another one fails at womanhood! XP

Such wise 46 pieces of adive.
Unfortunantly, there isn't anyone to teach me to sew. But, I plan to take a clothing textile and design class next year, which should teach me. but my school has a habit of the course offering booklet saying one thing about a class, and then in the actual class... you do none of it. rofl i've experienced that with like 4-5 different classes. but i dont want to wait a year!

i think i would try or practice cooking if i was like... allowed to. my mom is so crazy, she rarely ever lets me use the kitchen or oven. its a miracle if she lets me make damn cupcakes!
Just buy the stuff yourself - are you home at all when your mom isn't?

Wow, I was just thinking about trying some recipes. My family never really cooks.

Oh, I've wanted to try sewing for a long time. I think of all of these great ideas I'd like to bring to life. Hopefully I'll learn something and find something to do over the summer by taking classes. The only thing I'm reluctant about is using the sewing machines. They scare me; a girl came in once with her finger bandaged because the needle punctured it *shudders* My dreams of being a hand model could be thrown away, just like that ;>>

Well yes, sewing machines can be dangerous. So can pencils, textbooks, cars, and rolling chairs in the control of an inattentive, disinterested person. Especially stick shift cars.... *twitch*
Wehn you run your material through you keep you hand to the side of the needle, you don't have anyone bump the table (beware of pets), and you feed the fabric through from a distance.

Hell, I've seen people on crutches from walking down a hill accidents! Sewing machines aren't that dangerous...
(meh... my hands are already so damaged from falling/carelessness with sharp objects. It's sad!)

APPLE PANCAKES! LOLWTFBBQCHICKENWINGS

engreedeeants:

Pancake Mix
The Stuff That The Pancake Mix Box Says You Need
Apples (Thinly sliced)
Cinnamin (optional)
Vanilla (optional)
Sugar (can be substituted with brown sugar or Splenda[ick]; optional)

poseejur:

Grab a small pot and put the apples, cinnamin (I could swear I'm spelling it wrong), a few drops of vanilla (put too much and it'll taste like crap. vanilla = only smell), and the sugar. Cover it. And when the sugar is melted and the apples are golden-brown, just make sure it stays warm.

Mix the pancake mix and the other ingredients into a bowl and make...batter. Get a pan and put a small layer of batter onto the pan. Place as many apples as you want on top of the batter. Then put another small layer of batter so the apples aren't seen. When the batter starts to bubble, flip the pancake and wait a few seconds (check A LOT, so it won't burn). When the pancake is golden brown on both sides, you're done.

Heehee blaugh I was taught how to cook when I was really young blaugh
A few years ago a cooking teacher taught me some more efficient cooking skills. Ever heard of Theressa Albert from the show "Just one bite"? Ya, she's the one who taught me xd (Sorry for bragging sweatdrop )

let's see...a good recipies for the one's who fail at womanhood ( xd )...

High-Rise Apple Pancake Pie

A puffy, aromatic apple pancake is the perfect warm-up on a crisp fall day.
Its Really more a pie than anything sweatdrop , THIS IS NOT AN APPLE PANCAKE!!!

1 Red apple
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugur
3 eggs
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. Milk
5 tbsp. butter

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Cut apple into 1/4-inch slices and toss with lemon juice + sugar.
3. Combine eggs, flour and milk in a mixing bowl.
4. Beat lightly with an egg beater ( The batter should be slightly lumpy)
5. Heat butter in an 11 or 12-inch skillet (cast-iron is the best) on burner untill hot and liquidey.
6.Remouve from heat and quickly add the batter.
7. The apples (arranged in a pinwheel) should be added before baking.
8. Place batter in oven, Bake for 25 minutes or untill pancake is puffed up and golden brown

Hn, my friend found a website for me that she uses a lot :
http://www.foodnetwork.com/

Another website I just heard about but have not really checked out yet :
http://www.recipegoldmine.com/

I found, but have not tried these recipes for croutons:

Making croutons is simple.

Take any stale bread and lightly spread with butter, oleo or oil. Dice into cubes. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, garlic or onion salt, parsley, basil, oregano or any combination of herbs/spices you prefer.

Place in a oven set at 225°F and toast til browned and crispy dry. Stir occasionally so that all sides are browned.

This is a way to use up the ends of loaves of bread if your kids were like mine and did not believe that eating the crust would give them curly hair.

To save time, throw all the heels in a bread wrapper and freeze until you are ready to make croutons.

Use them in salads, on soups, or for your favorite stuffing.
You can also throw them in a blender for flavored bread crumbs.

Outback Croutons

2 Loaves of bread (Outback uses Sunbeam bread)
2 1/2 lbs. of lightly salted butter (not margarine)
2 1/2 Tablespoons McCormick cajun seasoning (closest to outback seasoning)
3/4 cup of finely chopped fresh garlic
Pre heat oven to 250-275
Cut bread into bite size pieces (1 inch cubes)
melt butter until it looks like mayo (do not melt to a liquid)
add garlic and seasoning to butter (set aside)
Put bread on cookie sheet and toast bread until they are golden brown, this
will take about 20 min or less depending on your oven. Watch them!
When bread has toasted to a golden brown take out of oven and let cool (do
not try and coat croutons when warm or they will not come out right)
When croutons have cooled place butter mixture in a large bowl (you might
have to soften butter mixture again, thats ok, but remember not to a liquid)
Add croutons to butter mixture and coat each crouton gently using your hands
(you might want to use plastic gloves) Make sure that the garlic is staying
on the croutons. If you need more butter go ahead add a little more. One
important thing you need to make sure that you do not overdo on the butter
or they will burn and get soggy.
Put croutons back on cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 min. Gently shake the
pan to make sure they are all browning correctly. Do not over shake though,
garlic might come off the croutons

HOMEMADE CROUTONS
Butter 4 to 5 slices of bread. Sprinkle with garlic and parsley. Cut into cubes and spread out on cookie sheet, single layer. Bake until golden brown at 300 to 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Ovens vary, watch closely. Store in air tight container after cooled.
