sad I'm glad you're okay Hippy Chick 3nodding

and if you don't have a cell phone, this would be a great example to throw in your parent's face sweatdrop

I do have a mobile phone. I spent some of that time waiting being pissed off at myself for leaving it on my bed while I went and had lunch.

Well... I do have my eye on that new Within Temptation cd... but seeing as they had to cut up my brand new jeans that I only just bought a week ago to get to my leg, I think if I'll have to go with a new pair of jeans. sweatdrop

Mum already said that she'll buy me new jeans but I feel bad because she gave me the money for the first pair that got cut up too...

aww...well, I'm sure your mom feels bad that you had to wait for two hours before you got some help...so, maybe by letting her buy you new jeans, you are making her feel better?

Save them for summertime and cut the other leg off and make shorts. *shrug* So you can still wear them and get use out of them and not have to buy as many shorts in the summer.

I'm glad to hear that you're okay. Did they give you good painkillers? biggrin

They've given me Panadeine Forte. I just took some for the first time an hour or two ago because the muscle spasms were starting up again. Mind, they're not nearly as bad as they were before they put me knee back in place.

hmm..never heard of those...

*Hugs* I hope you leg get well soon. I never have a serious injury but I can understand how painful it is. I used to have that kind of experience too, thought I reckon your is more painful than mine.

As for your question, When I was in 3rd grade, a car's door used to shut on my index finger. It's not a hard slam, but it's locked, so I couldn't open the door and got my finger out. It took a while for people will acknowledge that my finger was stuck there, and they were all closed by (my sister was in the car and my mom was standing next to the car, prepared to take a picture of a sun.... neutral ). I could explain it in detail but it'd hijack your thread.

Again, get well soon.

Hmm serious injury...
the only one I had was when this kid dropped a big rock on my head...made a gash three inches deep I think they said...
I had to have 7 stitches...it felt weird too...

But, hey it got me out of PE xp

Hmm, well I think most people have heard of it here.

Wikipedia
Co-codamol is marketed in the United States as Tylenol 3 with Codeine, in the UK as both SolpadeineĀ® and SolpadolĀ® and in Australia as Panadeine and Panadeine Forte.

Ouch. 7 stitches in your head? gonk At least getting out of PE is always good, right? xp

Thanks, Slumber Hermit. My mum thinks that the reason that my right middle finger is so crooked might be because I had the car door slam on it when I was little. That would cane not being able to get it out though. eek

I didn't scream so no one know about it at first, guess I must be in shock. It was until the doc put some meds on my wound that I started screaming and crying. =P I remembered that later on when the wound started to get better, I could push down my fingertip (the part where the nail grow out) and see my nail at my fingertip lifted up and see a purple clot blood inside. xp

Three inches deep on your head? Sure it wasn't three inches long? Either way, OW.

I'm lucky and haven't really had any bad injuries. Haven't even really had to go to the emergency room for anything other than a sickness. Though I (vaguely) remember I was asleep on the floor in my parents room once as a little kid, and the shelf I was sleeping under gave way and a 13x13x20 speaker fell right on my head from 5 feet up. And my parents still sent me to school because I was... well, fine. confused Apparently. xd
