Wei's jaw dropped as he looked between the two males that meant everything to him. Why did the guys he care for turn emo?

Wei easily got up and dragged Rylenn over to himself. He gave the older a hard look before going grabbing RuiZhi. The brunette sat upon the closest bed and dragged the two onto his lap. "Why do both of you insist on going somewhere? I don't want anyone going anywhere. This room is very comfortable and we should enjoy it." He nuzzled both of their shoulders, arms wrapped around their waists. No letting go.

Rylenn squeaked and clinged to Wei gently. "I thought.. you two would want your time alone.. I didn't mean to intrude.. I was just making sure that nothing had gone wrong.. I got antsy.." He blushed and grinned sheepishly. He pushed his hair behind his ear before looking at RuiZhi. "I'm not trying.. to take your brother.. nor.. am I trying to leave you, RuiZhi. You're important to me." He tried to explain. "I.. it just.. I.." He sighed. "Words fail me." He snuggled against Weiyuan and lidded his eyes some. "Don't.. be upset with me.. with us, Rui..."

Dark thoughts came back, but quickly went away, leaving RuiZhi feeling tired. "Why does everyone think I'm upset?" he asked wearily, looking away from the two, partially hidden in his veil of hair. He hadn't anticipated a situation like this, and he didn't have the slightest clue of how to react. He couldn't exactly bolt, seeing how he was mostly naked, and even trying to worm out of Weiyuan's grasp while keeping himself modest wouldn't help, either. The boy took a moment to think how strange it was that he didn't care to be buck naked around Weiyuan, but he was embarrassed around Rylenn. Was it because those two had--

RuiZhi squeezed his eyes shut, willing out the image he didn't want to see. He shifted his weight so he was leaning against his older brother, but it put his back to them as well. He was trying to buy himself time, to figure out what to say, what to think, but he wasn't sure there were words for how he felt that wouldn't wound the other two.

Us, he thought sadly. RuiZhi used to be part of an 'us,' with Weiyuan, and even briefly with Rylenn. Now he wasn't part of the equation at all. He didn't know why he felt so alone, but that was for him to sort out.

Weiyuan smiled a bit, nuzzling RuiZhi's shoulder a bit more than he was Ry's. "Because I'm psychic when it comes to you. And Ry's psychic when it comes to me." That was true. The connection, at it best, between the two Chinese boys was...almost twin like. Except not. It was deeper because they didn't share blood. "Gëgë (older brother) isn't going anywhere RuiZhi. Fate put us together. And I'll fight it to stay together." Wei turned to Ry. "That goes for you too." He placed a firm kiss upon the other.

Rylenn squeaked, but kissed him back. He smiled gently and blushed brightly. He looked at RuiZhi. "Is.. that what you think? We don't want you? Who am I gonna run away with after we throw Wei at the girls?" He smiled brightly. He touched RuiZhi's nose. He, unlike Wei, had taken a shower so he only smelled of himself and soap. "We're friends, RuiZhi. And I want us to stay that way."

RuiZhi tightened every muscle in his body to keep from blanching at the kissing mere inches from his face. He'd walked away from it last time, but this time...no, this wasn't fate, certainly not his! He coughed a little to clear his throat and to hide his expression. "I've said nothing, but you two seem to think I hate you both." He tried to smile, his face still mostly hidden by his hair. This was not comfortable to him in the least. He tried to remember feeling Rylenn's scars, laughing with him, but he could only see his brother and his friend entwined. Even recalling memories of first meeting Weiyuan and the time they shared was suddenly overwhelmed by the familiar scent of Rylenn.

He tried to pull away from Wei, at least enough to sit up straight. "I'm fine," he said flatly. RuiZhi didn't believe either of them about how they claimed to think of him at this point in time, but his mind was too caught up on their kissing and touching. It was too awkward...he remembered Rylenn crying, Weiyuan being cruel and banishing him from RuiZhi's life...it seemed, in the end, Wei still got what he wanted. Be the bigger person! he reminded himself. "I'm fine," he repeated, more himself.

Weiyuan sighed, loosening his hold on RuiZhi. "This is a 'Give it Time' thing Alex is always talking about isn't it?" He nuzzled the back of RuiZhi's neck before leaning his head upon Rylenn. He felt it. A gap forming between them. Something that came with getting another person in your life. Someone that you loved dearly.

RuiZhi was right there and he felt...so separated from him. He didn't like it. He didn't like it at all! But...this was one thing he wouldn't go back int o time for.

Rylenn blushed and felt sick. He hid his face and leaned against Weiyuan. "Rui..." He'd give the other space. He'd have to. "M'.... always there for you.. my door is always unlocked and you know that. And.. Weiyuan isn't leaving you period. He's going to be staying in this room.. I won't let him.. you are -brothers-. And that's special..." He took Weiyuan's hand and entangled their fingers. He kissed his fingertips and purred faintly. "Spend time with RuiZhi, Weiyuan. I'll be in my room. I might go get Dante's crows..." He would wait for permission from the other to leave.

Actually, she had said something like that. "Maybe," he said to Weiyuan, wondering what she'd do. Probably hit both of them for being so stupid. That image made the boy grin, even giggle a little.

RuiZhi crawled out from under the comforter, not caring about his boxers anymore, grabbing some clothes and starting to dress. "You two spend some time together," he said, buttoning his pants, "Wei and I will have classes. Besides, I think we've spent enough time together for now." Using his fingers to brush his hair back into a manageable ponytail that Weiyuan had tried to fix, his brown eyes finally rested on Rylenn, only slightly flinching at the sight of him kissing his brother's fingers. "I'll...write to Alex. I have some things to ask her anyway." It was only partially a lie; he wanted to see if she'd replied, and he wasn't sure he could stay in the same room as these two anymore. He was disappointed with himself, but he just couldn't take it. He, too, felt the gap starting to open, but could also feel that Weiyuan wouldn't do anything to stop it. Wei had chosen, and now RuiZhi had to decide what he'd choose.

Relationships are good, but family is forever, she'd said. RuiZhi sure hoped so. He'd had to leave her at the mainland, and even though Wei was next to him, he was so, so far away. He wanted his family back.

Wei's free hand clutched at the vacant comforter, a rock in his throat. Maybe...maybe it was too early for him to of gotten into a relationship. Neither of the brothers have some of the other students, they didn't have time to adjust. This was the harsh reality. Gods he missed having Alex around to push them into a sensible direction. Just like she did with Dr. Kenth.

He sighed. "Yeah...you guys...do what you have to. I need to clean up anyway." His mind froze for a bit. Gods...that drawing he had earlier...from the picnic. Gods, please don't let that happen.

He sighed softly and let his head hang. "I'm sorry." He stood and looked at them. "You two seriously need to talk. Quit beating around the bush." He turned and padded out. He paused before closing the door. "Even if.. I can't be around.. you two need to be at ease with each other." He smiled at Weiyuan. He blew him a kiss before winking at RuiZhi. "Talk. Quit holding it in. You're family. Don't lose it. You two are damned lucky to have someone who cares so deeply for you." He closed the door and sighed. Damn it. It.. was hurting a lot.. but he went on. He padded towards his room.

RuiZhi actually rolled his eyes as he put on his shirt, looking over to Weiyuan. "" He was trying to joke, but it was hard. "" He reached up and touched his skull, before tying a cord around his waist. He didn't comment about the family remarks; it was pointless, since Weiyuan had made his decision. Rylenn didn't see it, but RuiZhi did. The boy was too observant for his own good.

"" he continued, stepping into his slippers and making sure he wasn't in front of the door. He didn't want to be in the way if Weiyuan decided to chase down his 'lover.' "" The boy was almost disappointed that Weiyuan hadn't been able to do his hair. It had seemed like old times. But, that's just what it was...old times. It wasn't going to happen anymore.

Weiyuan watched his lover leave. Gods...it wouldn't be good to see. But...this was so hard. He tried to smile at RuiZhi. "" He wanted things to be okay between them. He could feel it...how it would never be the same again. Things were...not stable. At least not right now.

He sighed. " He moved behind RuiZhi, expertly undoing the other's hair, brushing through it with his fingers. Not as beautiful as normal but...he was still there. He quickly braided it before giving the other and warm hug and a push.

This was just how things were going to be.
