I've never played the video games, but I think I'll rent them just to see what they're like. After that, I'll give everyone some professional feedback, I guess.

I recomend http://www.thecomicguru.co.uk/I've never ordered from them, as it's local to me but I know that a lot of people do. The prices are good, and I know he gets them in. Plus chances are good he'll backorder anything you're missing, if you ask.

I love the comics simply because, well... I really don't know. I just do.
The animated series is okay though. I have to watch it on youtube though cause I don't have any money to buy it.
Hopefully the second movie isn't bad.

I love the comics for the art and the characters and the deep mythology, but I love the film for the motion and actually seeing the characters talk.
The breach in canon between the film, the comic, and the animated movies was never an issue for me, I always thought of it as the same story being retold again and again.
I liked seeing Abe and Liz together in Sword of Storms- I always sort of hoped they'd get together.

Totally. I got into HB about a year before the first movie. It's one of he most intelligent and human comic book series I've ever read.
Have you tried the comics? They're awesome.
