I think Sawyer should get Kate. 'Course you knew I'd say that. Truth is, he is the one who understands her and doesn't want to change/fix her. He loves her the way she is.
Both Kate and Sawyer have trust issues. But, they both know that and understand it about each other. Jack on the other hand likes things to be solid, right. He doesn't like it when he feels he cannot trust someone. He wants the white picket fence, everything set and fenced in perfect. You cannot fence in Kate, she'd panic.
So,

Advienga I love the different 'layers' of Sawyer. He can be suave and charming then turn around and be a total a*****e. It makes for an interesting character. Plus he's insanely hot and quite found of taking his shirt off, so that's a plus :3 I agree xP I love characters with depth, and Sawyer as well as Kate are good examples. They have layers... Like Onions ^^

I believe what you said to be true. Jack is a doctor, he wants to fix things...fix problems...ultimately fix the world. While that is a commendable attitude to have, and I admit I tend to have that same problem, you can't "fix" people. That is why they will never work. (jack/kate).

If I lay here | If I just lay here Sawyer is probably my favourite character. He's funny, and has an interesting past. The rivalry between him and Jack is great, and his nicknames for everyone are hilarious.

I think Sawyer is a brilliant character. He has great one-liners and he looks pretty hot. But the thing i love most is the way he is quite a bad guy but really deep down you know he's a good one. He kind of reminds me of Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow. They both do some not too good things but when it counts they are good people. And the romantic stuff between him and Kate is fantastic. I personally have gone off Kate a little but i think them two would make a great couple as they are quite alike. Basically I think this character is the best one on lost.

I totally agree with what you have both said. Jack and Kate will never work out. Jack is kinda what Kate wants to be like, good, honest and can open up to certain people. Kate on the other hand cannot be honest about her past and although she is a good person she has done some badish things.She cant open up to anyone it seems, apart from sawyer.

I felt bad for Sawyer, but in a way I felt bad about laughing at the sad man. I mean, Sawyer did a happy dance for a fish biscuit...between that and the music, I was just laughing. It's adorable how he shows concern for "freckles". In the second eppy, when Kate came back from her meal with Ben, that look that she gave him, and that he returned...that was a loving gaze! He really cares for her.
