The first few times I listened to the song I thought it was total sex.
Now I am just like 'what the ********'?
In all arguments the song sucks, though you have to respect them for their hard work they probably put into the song.
Yes, in all of this change of sound it makes you wonder what the entire ablum will sound like.
Though like the old saying is "You can't judge a book by its cover."
I guess if the entire ablum is like this, then, well, I guess they've failed this time for this "change". Move on, listen to old tracks, and wait for another ablum.
*Haha, my mom heard it on the radio this morning, she agrees, she doesn't like it either. [Even though my mom doesn't like LP much anyway, but she still agrees because it doesn't sound like them.]

I love, I prefer the style of their old music though, with all the screaming and mix of hip-hop stuff. It really stuck out and wasn't mainstream like all the crap that's out on the radios now. Atleast it proves that they can switch styles without TOTALLY killing it, it's still better than all this "Top 40" crap. The only people that are ever on that are Gwen Stefani and Fergie which REALLY pisses me off. I actually had some hope when "Where'd You Go" made the list but now I've lost it.
Go on Linkin Park and make your smexy music, Even if the album sucks (which it won't!) I'll remember them for their old kick@$$ songs.

eek evil scream I just saw the music video!!!! And I am so PISSED OFF! I hate their new look!!! I am actually crying right now. Im not ******** kidding. I am balling my eyes out. It's not Linkin Park. It is not the same band I fell in love with. This better be just a damn phase cause I am pretty F#$^ing pissed off right now.
I can't beleive Linkin Park has disappointed to the point of Tears. (and I hardly ever cry)

xd Poor bubble. The look, in my opinion, only works for Mike. I'm kinda used to seeing him without all his hair since he's been doing the whole Fort Minor thing for a while. BRAD HAS A JEW-FRO! xd Chester.......well.....the look seriously didn't fit in with the vocals at first. I couldn't really see Phi or Joe or Rob so I'm not really sure exactly what they look like, but I doubt Joe looks all that diffrent.

Not to mention that the ENTIRE video looked like it was copying U2's Vertigo video! stressed WTF!?

yes, poor purplebubble...still, if lp wants to continue their music like this, then i don't see y we shouldn't support them...they still rocked everyone's world and they always will...so wut if they disappointed everyone?...just ignore that song and HOPEFULLY, mike and chester will continue with their hardcore voices

The more I listen to it, the song actually kinda pisses me off. Maybe its just my drastic change of taste in music since Meteora (which I still enjoy ^_^) but this song just rubs me the wrong way. Arrangement-wise, its not pretty bad. Lyric-wise, I'm still not completely sure what the hell Chester is saying so I've no opinion there. What I don't have from this song is the good old Mike/Chester vocals and the screaming. I know there most likely will be more of that on the actual album and I'm not that scared about the outcome of it. I don't blame LP for what they're doing since I'm sure if this album fails, they'll learn from their mistakes and just move on like any good band would. All I know is, I'm definitely gonna skip this song more often once I get my hands on the whole album. wingedlilazn actually, i love it...it's nice sounding and it fits with all the new music coming out...still, yes i miss mike's voice in it and more of chester's intense screaming would be nice...otherwise LOVE IT I'm glad i'm not the only person who thinks all that..... sweatdrop well, can't wait to hear the album! smile

PurpleBubble So today, Linkin Parks brand new Single from Minuets to Midnight entitled What I've Done came out. For those of you who have heard it already, I would like to know what you think.
Love it? Hate it? Indifferent? Think they could do better? Not Hard enough? Beautifully done? I heard WID this morning on my way to school and personally, it ruined my day. I was very disappointed. I found it very generic and mainstream with uninspiring lyrics. To be even more honest, I felt like crying. Chester sings the entire song, which I do not have a problem with. But I do have a problem with his quality of singing. Anyone who has listened to My December, Push Me Away, Easier to Run ect. knows the beautiful perfection of Chester Bennington's singing. This song does not show that at all.
However, Warner Brothers chooses the singles, NOT LINKIN PARK. Therefore, Im willing to bet the rest of the album is not so BLAH and average. I hope the album changes my thoughts, because right now, Im ready to kill Rick Rubin. EDIT BY MEL: Video.
