Rene Zellweger was so cute in the Bridget Jones movies, but.. seeing her get all bony for Chicago just made me sad. sad
She still had a fat face anyway, so it looked odd.

Possibly more frustrating than the thin models and actors is the "fat" ones. Girls with small amounts of mass and skin on their body, and it's as if they were rebellious counter-culture leading preistesses of obesity. "Plus-Sized" models that appear to be thin models wearing sweaters. The fact that such people are considered fat is an insult to real fat.

Catalogs like Lane Bryant and Roaman's use "plus-sized" (i.e. size 10?) models and then expect us truly big women to have ANY idea what these clothes will really look like on us?! Uh... no. And I get so tired of hearing "oh my god! She's (whoever it is) "ballooned" all the way up to a size 8!!" *gaspscreamshockdie* mad

I have a BIG issue with the way that hollywood is going lately.
They say that the camera adds 10 pounds, well even WITH that the majorirty of hollywoods women still look like survivers of the holocaust!
Its simply not healthy.
People, especially teens, idolize hollywood and strive to achieve the same looks and lifestyle. Shouldnt they at least TRY and set a good example?

Just like the models you see on commercial ads for plus sized clothes. How can one possibly be considered plus sized when the garbs they're wearing seem to swallow them? mad

At least some teens and young ppl (like us) don't follow the fad. I'd have to say one of my fave stars is Queen Latifah. She's big, beautiful and she knows it. You never hear about her trying to slim down. Since she debuted in...the late (80's early 90's?) She's been healthy and if she changed at all she only got bigger.

She is so awesome!! I know someone mentioned Renee Z. in Chicago earlier... it was such a startling contrast to see her, looking all puny and scrawny, and then to see Queen Latifah, who looked positively amazing: fresh and glowing... and healthy! What a difference!!
So why anyone would want the shrivelled prune-girls when you can have fresh, juicy plum women, I will never understand. (And if that made no sense, sorry... it's a thing with me and my mom... will clarify if anyone wants me to)
