So soft and delicate, those thin crinkly pages. Aaaaaahh, makes your butt feel so divine! I laughed so hard apple juice came out of my nose!

Thse people need to get it through their heads that when it comes to healthcare, that scripture is no substitute for accurate and comprehensive medical information.

CPCs telling me what God says is heresay, anyway. other than that information not standing up in a court of law, they might have tampered with the message. perhaps God made a typo and he really doesn't want us to have babies if we don't want to?

Oh for the love of... Are there no biology classes in the US or something? Geez Louise, I learned the basics of pregnancy and birth in SIXTH GRADE, and the heart doesn't starts beating at the 4th week! If my memories serves me right, the organs aren't even fully formed by then! God damnit, someone put those people back in middle school!

Lord Setar I like the response after mine. The Bible does not condemn abortion. Actually, that response is technically CORRECT. The bible can actually be interpreted BOTH ways. You can find scripture supporting both camps of views. You can use the bible to support abortion as a legitimate means, and you can also use the bible to say that expulsion of a fetus before it is developed is not ok. Pro-lifers, though, seem to think that they have the most superior interpretation out there, and they love using their religion to bully and harass everyone else. So if they enjoy making a public display of their religion and using it as a tool to oppress others, then I think they should be prepared for attacks on the legitimacy of their brand of religion.

Either way, the verse I posted clearly shows that the woman's life is more important than the fetus's life. That one's for sure, and that's one point some lifers seem to disagree with.

Even so, all sorts of living things have heartbeats, and nobody cares if they die. What makes humans really unique is the human brain. We have the ability to think and feel and reason. A fetus doesn't have any of that. The heartbeat may start fairly early, but the brain is not capable of receiving pain signals from the nerves until much later. And even after that, it's likely that fetuses are unconscious, anyway.

And I think we scared lymelady off. She doesn't seem to have found a way to refute my post.
Edit: Scrolled down the related, and found "An alternative to abortion." The picture Youtube has looks like a big appeal to emotion to me.
