yeah i got to see him yesterday...he slept most of the time...which i dont blame him...i mean his body has been threw a "trauma"...so it needed rest...plus they were giving him morphine for the pain.....he was doing pretty good tho besides the pain....
he was a little bit mad cause he didnt have his glasses so he couldnt really see...i hope my aunt got them to him....
i went and printed out a pic of jake, stephen, and stephanie...framed it that way he could see them....kinda like a motivational tool to help him want to get better faster...did that make sense...
and i just cant thank you all for being so caring....means the world to me...sending back some purkle butterfly hugs to everyone heart
and huggles sunny...by the time i got in yesterday i was so tired from the little trip...not to mention the 1 million things i had to do around here rolleyes ....ill catch you on today razz

That is funny, my dad had the same problem with his glasses. But they weren't for seeing us. He couldn't see the tv to watch the Steelers game. The poor nurses had such a time with him. As he starts to come down from the morphine (when the pain lessens), he will be a real you know what. The nurse that dad had was comforting us because of the way we ended up crying our way down the hall after he yelled at us one day. So just be aware. It doesn't always happen, but to some it does.

No, I think it was daddy being daddy! Not wanting to say he hurt, and being frustrated with being in the hospital in the first place. You know what I mean. Our daddy's seem to be alike, so it is just a little heads up. And he didn't really yell at us, but was certainly not using a normal tone of voice. You know??

Glad to hear that he is doing well. I think your dad and my dad should get together. I think the two are very much alike. Until Daddy's first problem, he had never been in a hospital bed. I remember the very first time they made him stay overnight. He made mom stay with him. Talk about big baby... LOL
Anyway, big hugs to you for letting him vent. It is hard to hear, but often they need it to feel better.
