Cheveyo chuckled, "Akio, you'll have fun. Patroling isn't a boring job. I could always have you clean the cave instead. With you patroling that means you have a say in any new land we may want."
Ireland opened her wing, stopping Akio, "Listen to your father for a moment, Akio."

Akio stopped when Ireland stuck out her wing and turned back to Cheveyo. "But still all you do is walk around, looking for stuff. That can only be fun for like a few minutes and-"
Aqua cut him off. "Akio! Knock it off. Whining and complaining isn't the way you should be behaving. You wanna act like that then we can stick you in the cave for a timeout just like when you were little. So shape up and start being more respectful", she snorted.
His head drooped a bit but he nodded. "Yes mother."

Cheveyo nuzzled Aqua, "Akio, I do alot more than just stand around. I've fought off other stallions to keep this herd safe. I have scars from my battles. I've also fought cougars when they try to make meals out of foals. I have to make the choice on where we live and stay. It isn't an easy job."

Akio nodded again. "I understand. I'll go with Ireland and learn this patroling stuff. On one condition though", he looked at Ireland. "Can we patrol and fly at the same time?"
Aqua relaxed a little and nuzzled Cheveyo back.

Cheveyo laughed, "Akio, the kind of patroling you'll do is by flying. You keep watch from the sky and we keep watch from the ground." he turned and returned the nuzzle to aqua.

"Okay!" He turned and ran past Ireland, leaping into the sky.
Aqua shook her head. "I don't know what to do with him sometimes."

Cheveyo caught Ireland, "Later, just hand him over to ShowChaser. He can watch him. You go visit with that irish stallion you met." he chuckled turning back to aqua, "Love him I guess."
Ireland nodded and took to the sky after the teen.

"Spoil and love you?" he chuckled nuzzling her and blowing into her mane. He never dreamed he'd be able to get her. He was so happy she was finally his.

Aqua giggled and nuzzled him back. "Well you already love me, at least I hope so. But how do you intend to spoil me?, she asked curiously, lipping at his muzzle.

"Getting you treats, making your bed extra soft, giving you your own pond. I could go on." he smiled and nuzzled her muzzle, happy and content.

She smiled and snuggled against his side. "You could but I don't need all of that. All I want is to be by your side, never to leave it. Do you think you can do that?", she asked, looking up at him.

Cheveyo looked down at her, "I know I can do that. I don't have to think about it." he smiled and let the wind run through their manes, "All I want is you." he said as he bent his neck to nuzzle her lovingly.

He smiled, "Good, because I'm not sharing you with anyone. Your all mine." he chuckled and began to tickle her sides.
