Kazuki frowned. He hadnt wanted to upset his mate more. He nuzzled his mate.
"I promise them they wont. They will be our kits...Kits from the Moon Fox, born under the Moon Fox protective gaze. " Kazuki hoped his words woudl help to cheer Ari up. He though wouldnt admit he was hurt. He wanted to have kits. Sure he didn't know how but he wanted them badly.

"Will they?" Kazuki sounded so certain of it, and Ari wanted to believe it, truly, he did, but the thought of more heart break like Sigal was causing him...Truly, she took far too much after her mother, in times like these. But was the whole thing her mother's fault? If he and Kazuki had kits, could they truly have some guarantee that this wouldn't happen?
It was bad enough that one of them had to go through the pain of seeing a child leave. He didn't want Kazuki to fully understand just how much it hurt, seeing that Sigal would never join the tribe.

Kazuki felt bad for Ari. He looked so pain when he thought this moment.
"Yes they will be and if not...I shall be here sharing your pain and helping you. I know if hurts. Yet, Ari, if you really dont want kits I wont pressure you.." Kazuki nuzzled the other a bit strongerly to show he was there to comfort the other as well and he would. Kits or no kits.

"I don't want you going through this, though. It's bad enough if it's just me, going through this just one time. You shouldn't have to suffer like this, too.
"I do want kits, but I want guarantees about them that I just can't have..."
In a perfect world, Sigal, and all of his future children, would stay with the tribe. But the world was far from perfect, and he would have to live with that. Could he live with more children leaving, if that was the price of having them? Ari wasn't sure.

"Ari.." Kazuki wanted to say more yet he had no idea as to what. He frowned and watched Ari closely. Then he decided on something.
"Ari, life is something that is never perfect. We must accept the good and bad. Yet if there is a chance of something bad then we either must have the courage to risk it or not. Either way I am sure at least one child will stay. Also we both heard the call. There is no chance they could not also hear it. It there is a chance it is a very smalle one." Kazuki then licked his mates cheek and smiled He hoped that would help him. Kazuki's heart was racing though. They might have kits. Ari wants kits! He was so happy..he truly was.

This really seemed like something Kazuki wanted, even after everything Ari had said about what he was going through with Sigal leaving. Would the children of two tribe members be more likely to stay? He could only pray it would be so.
"Yes, you're right...We can have kits."

Kazukiz tail swished in a happy manner as he nuzzled his mate. He began to let out that soft purr again but didn't noticed.
"I'm glad...I just hope you want them to..I mean I dont want to be pushign you." He frowned a bit and stoped. The idea of Ari just doing this, or sayign this just because he mentioned it would be down right hrtful. He wanted to know that Ari also really wantedto do this. Also for Ari to hopefully not be as terrified of the idea either.

Right?" Ari asked, hopeful, wanting Kazuki to reassure him. Maybe it was only because of who Sigal's mother was that was making her want to leave...Ari hoped so.

"Yes Ari. They will be like us. They shall hear the Moon Fox calling..." Kazuki nuzzled his mate reassuringly. He wanted his mate to not be so upset. He wished he could help him see and understand that he shouldn't worry so much. He sighed softly and rested his head over Ari.
"Things shall work out the way they were meant to."

"Yes...They'll have to." Ari smiled, relaxed and feeling much better about his and Kazuki's future children. Maybe it was only because of the fact that Sigal took after her mother that all of this was happening. But Ari and Kazuki both heard the call, so their children would have to as well, right? Of course.

Kazuki smiled glad that Ari was no longer upset. He began to kissthe other to show that he too was happy that Ari had relaxed and was now no longer upset. He finished and then nuzzled the other. He didnt want tot say anythign since this was perfect to him. No words were needed.

Ari kissed Kazuki back, fully reassured that their children would be just fine. They would have to feel the call, and he would never go through what he was going through with Sigal again, and Kazuki would never fully appreciate just how difficult it was to see a child leave.
Although, the thought of Sigal brought up other things.
"Do you think they'll be...like us? Sigal found a mate...her name is Ame."
It really wasn't a worry. More of a curiosity, like wondering what the kits would look like, or act like.

Kazuki tilted his head in thought then he laughed shrugging his shoulders.
"Honestly I do not know. I mean they might like Sigal did but Sigal was from you Heartbreak so I dont know." Kazuki again shrugged his shoulder still chuckling at the idea.
"Who ever it is that they love I shall be happy for them. Male or female or even the same gender as us." He smiled brightly and nuzzled his mate with confidence.

"However they turn out, I'll be happy with them, too. Although won't it be more difficult for them to find mates if they're like us?" Ari supposed it was a bit odd, thinking about the future mates of children that hadn't even been conceived yet, but with Sigal's recent mating, that was just what was on his mind.
After all, as far as he knew, Kazuki and himself, Kure and Panda-chan, and Sigal and Ame were the only ones who liked the same gender.

Kazuki laughed harder now and rolled onto his back. He shook his head staring up at Ari.
"You really think to much into it. Silly Ari, what ever happens will happen. Just as the Moon Fox wills it. Nothing more nothing less. Either way it wont matter because no matter what my owner always told me there is someoen out there for everyone." He smiled up at Ari and began to look intoi Ari's beautiful eyes. He became lost and couldnt turn away.
