It feels weird to post something that isn't a form.
Anyways, I'm just posting to say that Romulus can be mentioned in any initiation.

Position Test - Romulus
For his first mission, Romulus has been asked to scout out a region of the suburbs adjacent to Sanguinite territory. This is a fairly well-off area, but is nonetheless home to urban foxes who do not wear the blade. Upon reaching a junction, there are two choices of direction: down a well-lit street with several neatly-kept houses, or into a side road with no streetlamps that seems to run alongside a park.
- Which way does Romulus go, and why? - What does he find there, and how does he react to it? - Does he take back anything useful, news or goods, to the Syndicate? If so, what is it?
Answer all three of these in a solo RP in this thread, and if you answer well Romulus will be given the position Scout. Impress me, and you may earn something extra. Remember, Romulus doesn't have to come out on top in order for him to pass the test - he just has to conduct himself in a manner befitting the position he desires, and do his best. You may puppet NPC foxes in the distance (but not play them, as per the shop rules) or use your own if conversation or confrontation becomes necessary. Please note that a higher standard of answer is required for special positions, as this is a solo RP and you have more time and space to work. Good luck! ^^

The sound of running feet finally started to recede. With a sigh of relief, a young male fox pivoted behind the corner of a building to await the returning home of the more determined humans.
This was Romulus, newest of the Sanguinites. Given the task of scouting the suburbs, he had chanced upon a group of human parents in the wealthier part of this area. Shouting curses, they had chased them off to protect their kits. And so here he was, pressed up againt a wall, forced to wait.
Certain that the last human's energy had faded, he dared to move again. He looked down the only available street, where darkness seemed to pervade everything. In the faint moonlight, broken glass from windows glimmered-this was definitely a poor area.
"Amazing how the wealthy can live next to the poor and pay no heed," Romulus said to himself as he headed down the inky street. It was his best option to go this way-the Sanguinites would find easier shelter in such an area.
Of a smaller build, Romulus was easily able to slink into a basement through its broken window panes. As he dropped to the floor, a pair of glimmering gold eyes met his. Another fox had claimed this shelter, it seemed. With a sigh of dissapointment, Romulus leaped back to the sill and out of the basement. There were other places he could find.
Emerging from the building, Romulus blinked as a rain drop hit the top of his snout. Then another one. The heavens opened suddenly, and Romulus was soaked before he could even consider asking to share shelter with the fox in the basement. Laughing darkly at his own bad luck, he tore down the street, kicking up water as he went.
After a few minutes, Romulus emerged from the lane of buildings and found himself in a park. Creeping forward, he detected rust on the metal contraptions for the human kits. Disuse seemed to be the only word for this forgotten place, and that spoke well for the Syndicate.
Or not.
Adolescent humans slunk out of a car that was blaring a heavy, pulsating beat, and immediately began to shout at him, brandishing what appeared to be guns. With a growl for the drug dealing children, Romulus shot out of the park and headed back into the buildings, looking for anything he could take back to Sonia.
Left, right, straight, right, left, left. Romulus arrived back at the basement with the broken windows. Grateful that he did not yet have the markings of the Sanguinites-some urban foxes did not take well to them-he leaned his head down into the window to see if he could find clues to this area.
A threatening growl told him to leave, and he did so quickly.
Standing out in the torrential rain again, Romulus quickly went over everything he had registered in his mind. The wealthier part of town was hostile, all of the decent shelters were occupied, and miscreant teenagers roamed the streets. All in all, it did not bode well.
The storm's intenisty increased, and Romulus decided he had no choice but to leave this area. With several more turns, Romulus was back in the well-lit streets, skulking through the sparse shadows to head back to the urban center.
The Sanguinites had not found success here; Romulus mentally took in any landmarks that he could relate back to the others. They would have to know the exact location to stay away from.
In this area, the sound of running paws finally started to recede.

And that's a good PASS for Romulus, and he's in as a Scout! Congratz, Katachii. ^w^

Alright well, Kiroko is now waiting for Sapphy to give him his tattoo and he's ready to go. Its time for him to meet the rest of the tribe and learn how to paint. So if anyone is up for a RP, just set it up. ^_^

WE ARE BACK.
Dare's had a hellish year, but the Syndicate is now being revived! Hopefully the changes to the application process will make it easier for me to deal with requests.
To PLE and Bouncy: if your foxes still wish to join I'll create prompts for you - this is more to see if they're suitable than to see if you are; I've already been quite impressed enough by you both to admit a suitable fox of yours to the Syndicate.
To White Oblivion: your prompt for Jaden is in the works, but it would help me a lot if you could tell me what his primary art is. Does he paint, sing, read? If you don't know yet, have a good read of the info posts and see if there's any inspiration there.
To any other prospective new members: check out the rules again, because as I've said the application process is now slightly different.

Okay!
Well... Jaden paints, draws and knows good calligraphy. (So... yes, he will do your portraits... if you want him to.) He-heh, the mighty power of the curly lettering(!!)
Also he's an artist in a sence of life itself, often comparing things, playing with words, or just speaking lyrical.
