I talked to Neo and I can offer Kiasi up for apprenticeship. :3 She and Chau will be staying in the Pridelands, which I was hoping for anyway, since Kiasi loves it there.
I love making up stories, so that's not a problem. xD But I think Swampiee had claim first, with Verdad, so.. yeah. xD <3

I'd definitely love for Nariko to listen into the story-telling, especially since he is a cub. 4laugh Probably throw in Siltim and/or Na'ilah as well because this is such a neat idea. ^^

It's that time again! As some of you may or may not know, my lioness, Tai, is one of the two Storytelling-babysitters for the pride.
I'd like to hold the second story-telling RP which will also be open to all/Pride-wide, so this is to let everyone know that sometime next week I'll start the story-telling event. Anyone with cubs within the pride are more than welcomed to sit in on it, siblings, adols, and adults and parents too. smile
Again, one other note, Tai is interested in the idea of apprentices, so if anyone is looking to have their juvenille, adolescent, or adult become a storyteller, contact me (via this thread since my PM box is like, overflowing constantly.).
I have had a few who have expressed intrest already that I will be trying to contact, but in the event that I don't get in touch with them by the time storytelling happens, I'll re-open apprentice slots.
I will be taking TWO-to-THREE apprentices for Tai, as there is one Storyteller position open and one filled by Tai herself.
Notes about Apprenticeship:
An apprenticeship with Tai is not an actual OOC-promise that your character will be able to become a storyteller. Slots are currently limited to two storyteller-babysitters at one time. Also, there may be other people trying for the position that didn't manage to make it into an apprentice spot, so, ultimately the choice of who makes Storyteller (when Tai retires) will be based on who can best handle it, and first come first serve.
Anyone applying for the position with the intention of actually becoming a storyteller will need to make sure that they're able to handle the responsibilities. These include creating stories and creating and maintaining group RP's on a somewhat regular basis.
And finally, if anyone has suggestions as to how this should go (posting order?) please let me know, otherwise I'm thinking that my posts will tell the story in chunks, and I'll leave room for people to respond every so often in the story.
Who: Tai + Any cubs and parents, and/or pride members interested in listening.
When: Wednesday or Thursday (Whenever I have time to type it up)
Where: Pride Rock! The back area (In the movie, the area where Nala and Simba recieved their baths before leaving for the graveyard.)

Iris_virus I'm not sure who yet, but atleast one of my girls (Kami, Sara, or Xu) will be here. :3
But! I thought you might want to add, while it doesn't matter for aprenticeship (since like you said, at most 1 to 2 would become actual storytellers in time, not all of them), all the people who seriously would like to take up the spot have to understand that they'll have to make up stories and stuff. And are capable of it. Cause I know how hard that can be. @_@

I love making up stories and things, so that woudn't be a problem and ICly she's smart, has a good memory and is desperate to learn the history/stories of the pride.

Could I add Mchengo to try for the apprenticeship? It would suit her really well IC. The only problem is her stories may all be too happy as she see's no bad in others.

That's cool, both of you guys. smile If you'd like, we can settup the RP this week. If you need a reason for them to gain intrest in it then maybe they can (respectively, or together, whichever) seek out Tai following the storytelling if they each sit in on it?
As apprentices they'll likely have to meet Kamilika's approval, as I think Tai would want to let them gain experience by helping to keep an eye on the cubs, as Nanny is still a large half of her duties (and thus, theirs if they get the spot as storyteller or nanny).
Also, be sure you're alright with the "First come first serve" rule regarding spots, and that even if you ask first, it's going to be Iris' call in the end.
If this is all still good by you, I'm fine with this. ^^
