I've had glasses since the 3rd grade. I joined marching band last year, and have been marching with my glasses. The only bad part is the rain. We have other people in band that wear glasses, and a guard member that wears em. I choose glasses that are less noticable. Those are the ones that I'd get, or the fashionable ones. That's my advice!

I've had glasses for as long as I can remeber and so has my brother. He says that they get annoying for marching band. And if they fall off when you are marching you can't pick them up so they get stepped on and broken. However, I think I look better in glasses and they've never really been a problem.

I'm nearly considered legally blind my vision is so awful. (20/170 and 20/180, depending on the eye) I've been wearing glasses for nearly ten years now and I'll be wearing them the rest of my life. I have a condition known as degenerative myopia; basically, my vision gets worse with time, whether a little or a lot. So I can understand marching with them being a pain.
If you're having issues with them falling off of your nose or face, try bending the ear-rests to more of an angle so they can't fall off as easily, or use one of the myriad things you can use to keep them supported on your neck if they do fall. If you can, if you need new ones at some point soon, check if they have an anti-glare coating and/or transition lenses available. They help a ton in the hot sun, but they do have an extra cost on them.

I've had glasses since about 2nd grade. I think that it all depends on what type of frames you get. I really like square frames but not like super dark emo ish glasses. Depending on how high your prescription is depends on how good you look. Like some people have TERRIBLE eyesight so when you look at their glasses their eyes look all distorted and weird. I've never had problems with glasses and marching though.

Awe don't worry, I wear glasses and they actully look good 'cause I chose nice frames and my eyes are kinda small so they make 'em look bigger
