Valens smiled in a very happy sort of way, he was happier now seeing how excited Reese was over the large, stuffed toy then he had been at getting it. His prize had been getting to win at the game that had been for 'adults only' when even some adults didn't win it, the bear was a bonus that he didn't mind handing off to his new friend, "Glad that you like it, have fun with him!" The bear had to be a boy since it was blue after all, "Tell me what you decide to name him when you pick a name?"
Lamiah flushed in a happy/proud sort of way at Edge's compliment of her child, "Thank you." She said. Yes, he was a good boy, the best boy ever! Then again she was a very biased parent who loved her son very, very much.
The horse boy looked over at Edge's hand for a moment, eyes widening in surprise then gave a bright grin taking his hand and shook it, a bit hard but it was mostly out of his excitement and not on purpose, "Ahh... thank you! Was lots of fun. Wonder what other sorts of games they have." He mused to himself, more he would have to try! Maybe some that Reese could play too?

A name! Yes, yes...the bear needed a name! Reese nodded his head, still hugging the big blue thing tightly. This was going to be his best friend from now on...
"Yeah! More gameth, Poppa!" Reese cheered his agreement, looking around for something fun that both of them could play. There were the little ducks in the pond games, and fish-the-colored-magnet-out-of-the-river games...Reese wrinkled his nose at them all. Nothing fun, nothing fun for him and Valens.
Then there were several loud pops, like balloons bursting. Snapping his head around, Reese realised that's exactly what it had been. A shoot-the-water-into-the-clown's-mouth-to-pop-the-balloon game! That could be fun, and Reese was good at those...maybe Reese could win a prize for Valens this time!
"Let'th play that one!" The little boy shouted with a point in the direction of the game booth.

Valens looked over to what Reese was pointing at before he trotted over that way, only a few steps before he was caught hold of by his mother, captured and kept from escaping to far ahead. He looked over his shoulder at her and gave her a bright grin, an innocent one. Something she didn't buy in the least, "How about we walk in a group so nobody gets lost?" She suggested.
He nodded his head, he supposed that he could do that he thought then moved so that he was nearer to Reese so the two of them could hurry and get to the next game before the parents.

Reese started turning himself in the direction of the game to follow behind Valens, before he felt his father pushing him along. "I do it!" he proclaimed indignantly, snuffing at his father with a deep frown furrowing his brows into a V.
"Okay, okay...would you like me to at least hold your bear for you?" Reese stopped to ponger that a moment, looking at how big the bear was and how much space it took up on his wheelchair.
"Okay...you hold him," he finally stated, offering the bear up to his poppa and, once relieved of the fluffy thing, continued along with Valens and his mom.
"Step right up! Pick a seat, win a prize! A winner every time!" cried the...((what are their names??? I can't think of it for the life of me!))...dude, wearing a red and white pinstripe jacket like the man at the last game had.
"We play!" cried Reese from his chair, taking one of the end spots because it was easier for him to get near the counter. Leaning forward, he pulled himself up to rest against the bar, grabbing one of the squirt guns and pretending to shoot all ready.
"Come on, Valenth! You too!" he called as he waved his friend over, bouncing slightly in his seat while Edge paid for both young boys to play.
"Thoot the thirkle when he thayth GO!" Reese instructed.

Valens hopped into the chair beside Reese and looked the gun over, then the guy who was yelling at people to come play. He wondered for a idle moment if he could shot the guy with the water gun instead of the target then shook his head, as tempting as it was he didn't want to get kicked out after making such a good friend. Besides he didn't think that the gun would move enough so that he could so.
Lamiah watched the two boys and gave a smile, she was glad that Valens seemed to be rather good with making friends she worried that he might take after his father and be a bit anti-social, thus far he hadn't seemed to have that problem, "Good luck you two!" She cheered them on.

Reese bounced excitedly as they waited just a few moments more...and several people slid into seats. The man in the pinstripes called them in, and soon there wasn't an empty seat in the house.
"All right, folks! All spots are filled! Winner gets choice!" Reese cheered with the rest of them. He would win! He would win and he would get a gift for his new friend too!
"Now, everyone! On your marks!" Reese squatted down, holding the gun up in front of his face. "Get set!" Reese's little eyes squinted, one shutting as he tried to find his mark.
"Eyes open, Reese!" Edge called above the crowd.
"Oh yeah," Reese whispered to himself, opening both eyes and setting his sights.
"Go!" A buzzer sounded, the water came coursing through the guns. The little multi-colored balloons over the smiling clowns began filling up. One, two, three, four...
POP! A bell began to ring, lights flashing...and Reese looked up to see his balloon had exploded in a shower of confetti.
"Yay! I won!"

The horse hesitated in starting the game, the buzzer having distracted him then he found himself for a moment watching the others play before it clocked that he was playing too. A little late maybe?
Valens gave a shout of delight though when he realized that while the game was over it had ended well, "Awesome! Reese you totally showed this game who was boss!" He said, long tail swishing back and forth in delight. He on the other hand hadn't done all that great at the game but... eh. He was glad that one of them won. He didn't know anyone else thusly he was rooting of himself or Reese, "Good job."
Lamiah lifted her hands up to clap for Reese, a bright smile on her face. He had done very well with instruction from his father.

"Poppa teactheth me!" he pipped as he bounced, clapping his hands happily. He was so excited about winning a toy for his friend.
"Go ahead, kid...take your pick!" the man in pinstripes said, motioning to the rows upon rows of giant toys. Reese peered across them all, and nearly squealed when he saw a big fuzzy bear just like his...but opposite!
"That one, that one, that one!" he shouted, bouncing as the man went over and picked up the carnival toy. Once it was deposited in his arms, Reese gave the bear a gigantic squeeze before holding it out for Valens.
"Yourth now! Friendth forever, you and me!"

Valens dark eyes went wide as the bear was handed over to him before he snuggled on the big plushie, "Thank you! You are the coolest sea horse I've ever met." Not that he could say he met many... or any sea horses aside from Reese but none the less he was THE coolest one.
He then set the bear down so he could then give Reese a snuggle like he did the bear, only a little more carefully so as not to squeeze him to hard, "Yes! Friends forever!" He agreed.
Lamiah gave an 'awwwww' sound in a tone that only a mother could make, "They are far to adorable." She said, happily. What an adorable pair they were, made her wish she had her camera with her... Then she remembered it was in her pocket. A moment later she was snapping a picture of the two horses.

"Betht pony!" Reese echoed at Valens' comment about him being the best sea horse. Yes, ok...again, only pony ever met. But who cared! If he ever met another horse boy, Valens would still be the best!
And hugs! Reese loved hugs! When Valens came over he returned the squeeze as tightly as his little arms could manage...not really understanding that Valens was holding back, but it was the best friends hug ever in his mind!
Flash went the camera in his eyes, and Reese glanced up at Lamiah with a big bright smile. "Waitwait!" And the little DCorper made grabby hands for his bear gift. "Him in picture too!"
Edge grinned, handing over the bear to his son, who hugged it close and then put his other arm around Valens' shoulders.
"Cheethe!" he grinned, little eyes squinted in his big full mouth smile.
"What a ham," Edge chuckled in Lamiah's direction, and then leaned over to whisper "I'd like a copy of these, is you wouldn't mind. Heh. Good pictures for good memories."

Lamiah nodded her head, "Of course, I will get a copy to you as soon as I can." She said, looking the picture over in the little review screen of her camera before grinning. So very adorable the pair of them were with their giant bears.
Valens then looked to Reese, "Come on, lets go beat some more people at more games." No, no he didn't have and overflow of confidence, why? The pair of them winning the games they had already tried made him that much more sure that they were going to win at the others, "Oh! I heard their was a petting zoo too!" What a kick it would be for the horse boy if he could get a picture with a horse!

Reese's eyes bugged at the mention of the zoo. He wiggled so happily, biting his lip in excitement at the thought of touching all sorts of cute and fuzzy things.
"Yeah, yeah!" he cheered, clapping his hands together around the bear. He really needed to think of a name for it, but anyway. "The thoo! Poppa, let'th go there!"
Edge chuckled, reaching to ruffle his young son's green hair. "You're going to bounce yourself out of your wheelchair," he muttered, before glancing up at Lamiah with a knowing grin. "We're game if you are."
"Oh yeth! Pleathe, pleathe?" Reese begged, doing a very good "sad puppy" impression up at Valens' mom.
(( Oh, btw...congrats on Lucien, Rayne. ;D He looks awesome. ))

Lamiah looked down at the two boys and there was no way that she could say no to such eyes, "Of course, we will head over there next so that you guys can play with the animals." She said, nodding her head.
Valens gave a delighted sound, hopping up and down. They were gonna go get to play with the animals! He turned to take two hurried steps forward... then realized that he had no idea really where it was that he was going or where the petting zoo was. He turned back to look over at the grown ups, they would surely know so he would let the two of them lead, "This is gonna be great! I wanna pet a horse!" He said, laughing happily.

"Me too!" Reese echoed, bouncing with his bear before looking back at his father. "Puth me now?" He didn't know where they were going either.
"He only pays attention to me when I'm useful," Edge chuckled towards Lamiah, stepping up behind the wheelchair and starting to push Reese along.
The walk wasn't a long one. The petting zoo being towards the back of carnival, set up in a small field under several awnings placed side by side in rows. By now the sun had dipped behind the trees, so large lamps hung in the corners, showering light down upon the animals and people who gathered.
And there were all kinds of animals. There was a pen of rabbits to be cuddled, another with a pool and ducks which could be fed for 25 cents. Over under a different awning there were goats and sheep. A fat pot belly pig snorted in a pile of straw...and there was a pony, of course. Much smaller than Valens' cousins, it was shaggy and cream colored, just mulling around inside it's pen. Like the ducks, there was a little machine of some sort of food that you could buy for a quarter.

Immediently Valens was hurrying over towards the pony, stopping where the fence was and moved back and forth in front of it, unable to get in with the pony it would seem. He looked it over and then tilted his head to the side, "It... seems awfully small. Is it a baby?" He asked, looking over his shoulder at his mother and Edge. This couldn't be a horse right? Surely not this tiny thing that looked more like a toy.
Lamiah shook her head, "Not a baby, its a pony. They are smaller cousins to horses. That one is full grown."
Valens gave it a very odd look, "Fully grown..." He felt a bit bad for it, it was gonna be tiny forever where as he was gonna be huge like the horses whose DNA he shared. He shook his head before trotting back over to Reese, "Wanna feed some ducks with me?" They looked like very, very weird little animals after all so he wanted to get a closer look.
