Corrigan nods emphatically as he tries to catch his breath, looking up at the clouds. He seems very happy with life in general right now, his short tail thumping slightly against the ground. Only a bit longer and he'll be good to go again...
But Ryrleon knows his boy fairly well, and offers a knowing smile to LaVey. He digs around in his jacket and produces a small plastic bag... beef jerky, says the label. "...Corri's favorite," he explains, somewhat wryly. But what else to give an active hyena-child but super chewable meat?
"Corrigan! Come get a snack~" Ryr calls, waving the bag slightly in the air to get his attention.
The response is almost immediate, as Corri rolls to his feet and with a quick "Be right back!" to his new playmate, bounds across the grass to his father. The bag (which by this point isn't all that full) is simply handed to him, and while he's trying to wrestle it open, Ryr settles a hand around his shoulders.
"Time to go, Corri," Ryr tells him, in that gentle but no-nonsense tone of parents everywhere. "Say goodbye to your friend; I'm sure you'll see him tomorrow..." Corrigan stops trying to gnaw through the bag and blinks, then promptly goes into what's undoubtedly a well-polished 'sad puppy' routine.
"But DAAAAAAAAAD...." he whines.

LaVey gave a whistle, "Thats a damn good idea, I should see about getting some dehydrated apples." He said, he wondered how well it would work on his son. He looked over at Valens who followed Corri over only to see his friend get 'captured' by the other man. Valens gave a stomp of his hoof as if he were thinking on stealing off with his friend but a look from his father stopped any plan that he might have been thinking up.
He shifted back and forth on his hooves then instead to try to look innocent before looking over to Corri, "Play again?" He said, "Didn't go long enough to decide a winner." He gave a bit of a grin, ears turning forward. He wanted to play more with Corri as it was fun and there was no worry about the boy getting hurt the puppy seemed to be rubbermaid.

Ryr tightens his grip just a hair on Corri's shoulder, just in case he got any bright ideas to go running off. Meanwhile, the hyena-boy is in full on pout, with his ears and tail drooping and his lower lip poking out.
"B...but..." He whines again, but Ryrleon sighs and shakes his head. The pitiful look starts to half-edge toward a sulk.
Ryr ruffles his hair fondly, "Yes, you can play with Velens again, Corri. Tomorrow is fine with me. You can bring your ball..." This causes the droopy ears to perk immediately and earns a half-wag of his tail.
"Ball? Corri turns to Velens, suddenly back to his apparently-normal self. "You like to play ball?" This would be one of the few ways Ryr has found to ensure that Corri can entertain himself for awhile.... the back yard, plenty of grass...and that old battered soccer ball. Corri turns back to his father and tugs on his sweater. "Can we can we can we, huh, tomorrow, pleeeeeeeeeeeease....?" It's a more hopeful whine this time.
"Yes, tomorrow." Ryr grins lopsidedly at LaVey, in a way that indicates he -hopes- tomorrow, or else he's going to have a serious problem on his hands. "It was nice meeting you, LaVey."

Valens nodded his head rapidly, "I can kick pretty good." He said, puffing up his chest in a proud sort of way. He was a damn good kicker even walls were unable to stand against his mighty power! He then turned his ears forward and backwards, flickering them, "Tomorrow then, we play again!" Ball sounded like fun, he was sure a game that involved running, kicking, and the tossing about of the ball couldn't be anything but.
LaVey gave a sound of delight, good. Valens wasn't going to do anything that woudl get the pair of boys into trouble, "Likewise Ryr, let us meet again sometime." He said, though it may not always be him with the boy, next time Lamiah could very well be with their son. It was random who would be taking him out on what day but... one never knew.
He looked over to his son, "Come on Valens you look in need of a good hosing off." He said which made the horse boys ears lay back in an unhappy sort of way, great... another bath...

Corrigan appears to have totally forgotten about being pouty by this point, distracted both by the promise of playing ball with his new friend, and also by the fact he's remembered the jerky package in his hands. He waves brightly at Valens, before he's gently led off by his father... who very tactfully does NOT mention the bath at the end of the trip home. No sense in making more work for himself, after all.
Hm. Hosing off. Would that -work-, he wonders?

LaVey waved before he turned to Valens, "You attrach dirt don't you?" He asked of him, shaking his head before he finished off his cigarette, dropping it and stomped it out, "Come on then." He took the boy's hand and headed off towards their place. With the mud and grass tangled in his hair he was starting to wonder if it would take both himself and Lamiah to get the boy clean...
