The way Intombi was looking at them made Mzuza fidgety, and she felt her tail beginning to lash out irritably behind her. She hated being stared at. "Uh, sure," She said with a shrug. "Saf's right, we got plenty of siblings." She didn't both trying to figure out how the older lion had figured out the two of them were related. Their eyes, perhaps? Yes, that had to be it. But she was much more caught up in Intombi's sudden change. It almost made her want to laugh, it had been so sudden.
She caught Safu's glance, and sidestepped even farther away. She knew that look, oh yes. No, not the ears. She stood between her sister and Intombi, watching the golden cub's every move, ready to spring away at anything. Why the ears?!

Being the niave lioness that she was, Intombi didn't notice either of the cubs' body language. If she had, she probablly wouldn't have made a move for them. Of couse, she hadn't, and so she bounded lightly towards the pair, only stopping when she was a pace or so away from their noses. A broad grin covered her maw. The golden one, what was her name? Safuma, ah yes. She had mentioned more siblings! The very thought of such a thing gave the juve a good shiver of excitement. Life would be so much more interesting with three or four in her litter.
Not being a pride member herself, Intombi had yet to hear the news of the ridiculously large litter the queen and her mate had recently had. If she had, there's still a possibility she still wouldn't had made the connection between these two and that infamous litter. Either way, she was glad to come across more pride cubs. "Wow. More sisters and some brothers, you say? I dunno what my ma would DO with more than what she already has. She says she's got a paw full a lot." She giggled a little, completely oblivious to Mzuza's discomfort. Her rear plopped on the ground with a satisfactory thump, and her tail wrapped around her. Every bit of her stance told that she intended to sit and chat for quite some time. "Your ma must be pretty busy hunting for y'all, right?" The concept of a father helping with a brood was not a familiar one to the pink and brown female, and so the idea that these two might have a faithful and loving dad at home didn't ever occur to her.
((sorry for the wait, guys. <33 i leave for FL tomorrow, but i'll deffinatley go online around once a day, so i'll keep up with the RP. :]))

Safuma grinned at Zu, her paws kneading the dirt for a few moments before her attention snapped back to Intombi. The other cub was suddenly much closer, and Safu had to force herself not to take a step back. It was rude to step away, besides this cub was hardly threatening just a little... off. Safuma was finding that she liked the pink and brown cub's differences from the Pridelanders, however. She was entertaining and new, what cub wouldn't enjoy that?
"Ma has help." She nodded, it was a universal answer for the hunting and for taking care of the large litter. "We have nannies. And hunters." That certainly made her family sound grander than grand, and inwardly she winced. Not only didn't she feel slightly haughty, but this cub would definitely grasp at that with more questions and more excitement. It wasn't so bad, though Safu hoped Intombi wouldn't catch on of Safu and Zu's heritage, nor that Zu would speak of it. Safu liked being treated like any other cub.

Mzuza was not one to flaunt her heritage. It was a petty and lame and, simply put, rather pathetic thing to do, and she didn't enjoy pettiness. If Intombi were to find out on her own, or figure it out some way or another like she had figured out that the two of them were sisters, that the copper cub would not have cared about. But she was not about to mention the fact that they were royalty, and she simply nodded in agreement to her sister's words. "Plus, Pa sometimes helps out with hunting too. But not all the time. We think it's cause he's no good at it," She added with a grin. "But it's better when he's at home with us anyway."
Yes, Mzuza quite liked her father - much more than any of the other lions and lionesses that had ever stayed to take care of the litter on dreary days, and she often found herself looking forward to the days when she would get to spend more time with him.

Even if Intombi knew of the pairs' heritage, she wouldn't think much of it. To her, a born and raised rogue, royal blood meant nothing. She hardly understood the concept of royalty to begin with. All she really knew was that a pride worked together to live, and that one or two lions were sort of 'in charge'. The whole nanny thing sort of flew over her head. She hadn't a clue what a nanny was and what having one meant, and to Intombi, things that she didn't know didn't matter much. What did catch her was the mention of a father.
"Wait... your dad lives with you?" Having never come across a cub that either had a father or wished to speak of him, the idea of a male lion sticking around to help raise a brood was alien to the pink and brown juve. Her father had skeedaddled right after doing the deed, never to see his litter born and raised. "That's so weird. My pa sort of... I dunno." In her cubhood, she had originally thought that there was no male in the picture of a family. They weren't neccessary, she assumed. Lionessess had litters on their own. Now that she actually knew about mating and all that jazz, she just thought that they helped the process along and then sort of disappeared. "Is he nice?" Her tone was a bit more serious than before, but there was still that hint of playful curiosity which she always had.

The cub was on the same general mindset as her sister, than it was generally not a good thing to flaunt her heritage, though the specifics between their reasonings were different. Safuma simply didn't care for being treated like she was different from any other cub, though she could imagine what Akida and Sarakiva went through. The two of them seemed to not mind for the most part, Sarakiva even enjoyed it. Meanwhile, the more Safuma came into contact with rogue lions, the more shocked she became that they knew little to nothing of pride life. If she had known that Intombi didn't even know what a nanny was, she would've been completely shocked.
When the other young one drew attention to their father, she nodded, "Of course he lives with us." Saf had never thought of things being any other way. Her head tilted to oneside as the brown and pink cub spoke, Safuma shifting her weight from one paw to the other as she listened. "Your pa doesn't live with you?" She blinked before answering the last inquiry, "Oh yes, Pa's very nice."

"Of course Pa lives with us," Mzuza nodded. "Doesn't yours?" The moment the words left her mouth, the copper cub regretted it. Of course. Intombi's father was one of thsoe unfaithful rogues she had heard some adolescents debating passionately about the other day! She looked away, somewhat embarrassed, wondering how she had not figured it out sooner.
She decided against saying anything, in case it was not a subject Intombi liked discussing. She could not imagine what life would be like without a father. The very thought of not having Ta'Ziyan in her life felt like someone was trying to take a part of her away and toss it randomly elsewhere in the savannah. She shook her head slightly. But that would never happen, no. Pa wouldn't ever leave! She felt sick just thinking about it.

Intombi had to think this new situation over. She had never heard a kind word said about her father, so the very thought of one actually sticking around seemed illogical. Firstly, the mother might be driven insane. Secondly, why would he? A lioness is perfectly capable of raising a litter, right? Males aren't concerned with the raising. At least, that's what she thought. Her narrow view on the other gender had lowered her opinion of them drastically, but now... it seemed a world of possibility had just been opened. "No..." Her answer came slowly, as if she was carefully considering it. "I've never met my pa. It's just Mama, Rojo and me."
The topic didn't really concern her much. She was too carefree to be bothered long by any one situation. Instead of dwelling on her lack of a good sire, she smiled cheerfully and switched subjects. "So what are you two doing out today?" Hopefully, they weren't doing much of anything, and would be free for her entertainment. It wouldn't be nearly as fun to do things on her own, after all.

The cub winced, realising Mzuza had asked the same question and knew the poor placement of it, drawing Safuma's attention to it. She gave first her sister and then Intombi a side ways glance, though if she had known Intombi's view of male lions, she would have been intrigued and asked more questions. She's met plenty of male cubs, and never knew a male lion to be anything but nice and supportive. The idea of a male not sticking around was... strange, though this wasn't the first cub she'd met without one.
When Intombi asked what the cubs were doing, she shifted uncomfortably. She wasn't sure how her sister felt about this new friend, and she didn't want to put Zu off. Saf liked Intombi, though, and she put caution to the wind, "Nothing really."

"Nothing, just playing. That's what we all do, mostly." The slight distaste in her voice hinted at the fact that she thought all the play was highly unnecessary. The copper cub had gone through it quickly in her head, and has decided that Intombi was nothing to be wary of. Although she knew that some rogue cubs, especially fatherless ones whose mothers worked overtime to provide for the family, sometimes didn't quite know when to draw the line. Mzuza had decided long ago that she would have to keep a weather eye out for things like this if they ended up spending the day playing with Intombi.
"What are you doing?" She added.

Just play? What about grooming?! Intombi was honestly a bit shocked, having thought that two females would understand the finer points of a freshly licked coat. Perhaps they were just a bit too young for that stage in life. Must be nice to have a sister to go roaming with, she mused. She usually played on her own out in the free land. "What a coincidense! I'm doing nothing, too. Now we can all do nothing together." A broad grin spread on her maw. Perhaps the newly formed trio could run off to a tree or a watering hole or... something. Oh, even better! These two knew their way around the Pridelands, or at least that's what she assumed. Perhaps this was her chance to learn where things were.
"Do y'all... know how to get around?" Her eyes brightened as she asked. Even though the pair were on the young side, they werebeing raised here. She had known her way around the vicinity of her den as a younger cub. It only made sense that these two were the same way.

If Intombi were speaking out loud, Safuma might have thought she was insane. What cub ever liked grooming? That was a crazy grown up thing, they were the ones that liked to groom and liked to groom cubs. Safuma wasn't really for it. She didn't mind it, but she certainly wouldn't pick it up as something to pass the time. Definitely not something she would do instead of playing, either. She tilted her head at the older cub as she spoke, though her own smile broadened and she laughed, "I'm glad, doing nothing is always better with three."
When Intombi inquired after their knowledge of the Pridelands, Safuma blinked a few times before shrugging, "I don't really know the names of things, but I know how to get around." She looked at Zu, "I know hiding places and where a watering hole might be before it dries up. Do you know the names of places, Zu?"

Had she known Intombi's love for grooming, Zu would have thought her a little strange. As it was, she didn't particularly enjoy being groomed, but she put up with it, because that was what was mature. If anything, she rather disliked grooming. Perhaps grooming herself, that was alright, but she didn't enjoy when she was picked up by an adult like a baby and groomed.
She shrugged at her sister's question. "Some of them." She said truthfully, although the names that she knew were mostly ones she had made up herself. She didn't bother asking the names of places like the water hole or the giant boulder over yonder. Most probably, they didn't really have names. But still, she liked naming the things she saw. It helped her remember them and it had her feel closer to the land around her.

Intombi couldn't help it; she started laughing. At first, it was a light trickle of giggles barely comming through. Moments later, it was a louder, shriller all out laugh. It took several moments for her to gain some control, though the chuckles continued inbetween words for some time. "Sorry..." She tried to calm herself, but it wasn't working all that well. "It's just... You're SO uptight!" She batted playfully at Mzuza. The tan cub had been a bit stiff since she'd come across the pair, and she had been attempting to not think of how funny it was. To her, being so cautious was ridiculous. Life's short, after all; why spend it worrying?
Backing up some after the gentle swat, the juve seemed to finally gain control of her giggle fit. "Well, if you two wanna have a bit of fun... and you know your way around... Do you wanna go do something?" Turning her attention to Safuma, the more relaxed of the two, she wagged flicked her tail around excitedly. If either of them was going to agree, it would probablly be the golden one.

Safuma blinked heavily a few times at Intombi's laughing fit, staring at her in blatant confusion as her ears swivelled backwards and forwards. Scarlet eyes darted between Zu and the foreign cub, but once Intombi's spoke, Safu could hardly help but offer her sister an apologetic smile before laughing as well. She wouldn't deny Intombi's statement, but Safu knew that it wasn't that Zu was uptight but rather than she was much more mature than her little body gave off.
When Intombi asked whether or not they wanted to do something, and looked directly to Safuma, she didn't glance at Zu before nodding. "Sure. Ya wanna go to the watering hole?" She let the poor wording slip, sliding out of manner-proned grown up speak into cub lingo. It was more comfortable and her tail swayed gently in satisfation.
