Someone randomly mentioned it in passing and I didn't think much of it until I saw like five copies in the library a few weeks later. It looked so interesting I practically jumped on it (nearly knocking over the book shelf), and have been under its spell ever since.

I just found it a few weeks ago! But, I saw it in Barnes and Nobel and thought I remembered it from someone's profile on gaia so I picked it up and read the back. Then, I found out it had a vampire in it so of course I had to read it!

Well, I sorta LIVE in my high school library (not literally, but close enough) and I was browsing the shelves one day and ran across Twilight. Now, I'm a big time sucker for vampire novels so I just had to give it a shot.
Turns out, it was more than just another vampire novel. I found more substance in Edward than most other characters of his species that I had read about in a while. I related so much to him. And Bella, well, she and I have a lot in common too.

I got hooked on it, because my [former] friend told me about it. I was all "okay...," but then I read the back of it, and was all 'can I borrow it?" and I did. I couldn't put it down, and I finished it that evening. By the time I gave it back to her, I was like, utterly obsessed with it, and read it WAY more times then she did.

This is sooo stupid how I found out about it. My sisters Teen People had an add in it. No kidding. I was flipping through (bored to death) and saw. I instatly went to borders and pre-read it, then borrowed it from my friend. Been hooked ever since.

So, I went to Barnes and Nobles because I was going crazy because I didn't have anything to read. I was hungry at the time, and as I was looking through the books, I came across Twilight, which had an apple on it.
Me: Apple? -Stomach rumbles-
So, I read the back of the book.
Me: Apples and Vampires? Shweet.
And, I brought the book. ;D

I had been wondering about it for awhile. I decided I better try reading it or it would stay in my head. I requested a copy at my school library, but I found it at my public library a few weeks after I requested it (it takes forever for requests to get in xp ). I got it and started reading the moment I got home. I finished it either that same night or on the bus the next morning. That same day I check my library's site to see about "New Moon". When I learned they had an audiobook copy in, I had to beg my parents to let me go get it. I now own both books and have both audio books on my iPod. What can I say? I'm crazy about the series. blaugh

I was scanning bestseller's, like I usually do, annually. The cover caught my attention because it reminded me of Death Note. =3='''
