Lilith smiled sincerely.
"Your father was a nice man. He didn't want to go home to his family having failed in a job. So he asked me to fight him. I only did as he asked. I had to defend myself."
She crossed her arms and stood up straight, wrapping her tail around her legs a bit. She reached for her neck where she pulled on a string which a necklace appeared on.
"This was ment to be yours."
She handed it to him with a smile. The small stone was perfectly shaped.

Strale's eyes widened when he saw the necklace. "Thats..." He took it slowly, gazing at it in wonder. His rage evaporated in an instant. Tears started to well up in his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away with the back of his paw.
"Why was he so stupid? I can't believe he did that just because of a job. He should have known that we needed him more alive. It didn't matter if he failed a job."

Kanji walked up beside Lilith and sat on his hunches to watch the boy have a sudden change in mood. Tilting his large head the Loif breathed a soft sigh and wondered what to say to the poor tigeral.
"Tigeral is a proud race to start. Add the merc job on top and you have potential for some bad things to happen."
He said softly, reffering to the family and not the job. he wondered if Strale would understand that.

Strale looked up at Kanji in surprise at the words he said. Then he began to speak slowly and softly, "Yes...your right. He...was definitely...the proudest...person I...know. We..should have...lived...somewhere else...then..maybe..." he choked on his words, not able to say any more.

Lilith was out of words. She said all she could have possibly said and that was all that was needed apparently.
Yunad walked over and sighed, giving the Tigeral a hug.

(Oh, you changed it. I still didn't know he had hunches? I think the word your looking for is haunches. whee )
Strale looked up at Yunad as she hugged him. "And how do I know this is a true form of affection, coming from you," he smiled as he said this, showing her he was joking. Suddenly, he swept her up into a return hug, lifting her off her feet. "Thanks though," he whispered into her ear, before setting her back down.

Seeing that things were resolved, Kanji looked up to Lilith and poked her hand with his nose to get the other ancients attention.
"Did you find anything?"
He asked in a lowered tone.

Yunad giggled as she was picked up and placed back down.
"Anytime."
She smiled and turned to listen to Lilith and Kanji. Becoming curious with the coming events and the rumors that had been spreading in Joura about the villians.
Lilith looked down at Kanji and sighed heavily.
"No. It seems that wherever this man is he is definatly already on his way to getting the villians together. We need to find him and soon would be better."

Strale turned to listen as well, not understanding what they were talking about. "What are they talking about?" he asked Yunad. He was interested about "this man" that Lilith mentioned.

(( Hush you. My Graduating class is so smart we lost Seven school buses.))
The loif breathed heavily out his nose, giving the sound of a snort at the idea that they missed the villain and any chance they had of keeping him here instead of out in the world.
Getting up he took a few steps away and looked out over the wasteland that was Dealyan and pondered what their next move should be. Whatever it was, it had to be quick and effective, else they would lose this man again and let war break out over Jouras face again.

Yunad listened intently until Strale said something and she turned to look at him.
"I'm not sure. I haven't gotten to talk to them about current events yet. I'm just as behind as you."
Lilith didn't really want to speak of any of this with a nuetral here since he could turn on them if he was paid enough so she decided something else.
"I think we, meaning Yunad, Kanji and myself, should head back to Oro. See if he can help us anymore."

Getting what Lilith was doing he nodded once and turned to head back down the road to the city Oro was currently residing. While he did feel a little sorry for the Tigeral, as Kanji would do the same thing, he knew nutrals were pretty much a hard thing to control.
Without a word he had started down the road and slowly put distance between him and the wastelands.

Lilith took flight and stayed close behind Kanji, looking back to see if Yunad was coming.
Yunad smiled at the Tigral meekly and got onto her kirin.
"I hope we'll meet again but this is a hero's affair."
She tapped her kirin's sides lightly and it raced after the others.
