She slinked out of the hold and started to walk the sun wasn't that hot and it was soon going to sleep but that hour of the day was good the most dangerous animals where sleeping and it wasn't to hot either. She looked down at Keo bewteen her legs she really looked excited but she must be she saw the big world for the first time in her life..
" Just stay close to me...i don't want you to run away to far because you are still so small "
She looked around the area looked safe for now. And she relaxed some and took a deep breath things did go fine so far but she couldn't help being nervous.
" You know the world out here sure is big but with that comes a lot of danger as well...i don't want my first baby being killed ok "
She had no idea if Keo understood the meening of death yet..

Matokeo stayed closed to her mother as they started to walk. It was a nice day. Though, she didn't know what day and night was really. Just that it got dark some point in time, and then got light another.
She nodded up at her mother. Though, she was quite curious of what death was. "Mommy.... What is killed?" She asked tilting her head as she looked up at her mother. Perhaps it was something good? Well, it couldn't have if her mother didn't want that to happen to her.

Kei was a little surprised by her daughters question but she was a child and it was good that she asked questions but how could she explain it? death, getting eaten, died of age, pain...all those words contained death as well and it wasn't very pleasant..
" Well death or getting killed is a word for stop excisting...you wont be able to eat anymore, not be able to breath, see, hear or do anything so you should be careful about getting hurt or loose your life dear "
She didn't know if it was a good explination at all but atleast she explained it.

That sounded horrible. How could she stop breathing? Or eating for that matter, she loved food. She didn't quite get what death or killing ment, but it didn't seem good at all. She'd never be killed, she thought.
"Oh..." She said thinking a bit more about it. Wanting to ask more questions but decided not to. She didn't want to ask too many questions, at least not yet. Plus, a bug caught her attention.
She walked a little farther from her mother to investigate what that strange thing was. Never seeing a beetle before, she didn't know what it was. She gave it an evil grin as she went close to the ground. Put still in the air. Tail flinging around, just like a house kitten about to attack a toy mouse.
"Ah Ha!" She yelled as she pounced at the bug. It had seen her, or seemed to see her since it quickly moved out of reach, though she didn't see it move. She lifted up a paw slowly to find that nothing was there at all. Well, where did it go. Bye the time she was looking around, the beetle was completely out of her view. "Huh?" She looked around more, dumbfounded.

Keilantra continued to watch her she was still young and had a lot to learn but it was probably good if she warned her now then later. The world was dangerous but also very fun and beautiful.
Then she noticed that Keo noticed a bug those was probably fun specially if you hadn't seen one before. She hoped she wouldn't eat it because that kind didn't taste that good actually but she would let her doughter to find that our herself.
" Don't run away to long ok i still want to see you ok "

Matokeo Muroki didn't say anything back to her mother as she continued to stare at the spot the bug should have been. Her ears were back from being frustrated. Stupid bug. Then soon, she found a different bug. It was as good as the other one. No, it was better.
She stuck her butt in the air and flicked her tail and pounced at the other bug. This time she caught the bug. It was another type of beetle. She lifted up her paw and looked to see if she caught it. As soon as she lifted it up the bug flew away. "Aww.." She said then finally looked back at her mother. "Ok!" She finally replied.
She stood up straight and walked slowly back towards her mother. She rubbed up against her leg. "Where are we going?"

The female watched her cub with her light ice blue eyes he was jsut so silly and innocent and she hadn't been effected by the world yet but she probably would be in the future. Then she watched the area again to see if it still was safe and it was. A pair of giraffs then crossed there path and with there long legs they took a climb over the cub and her mother.
Kei wasn't worried about them since if they didn't attack her she would do nothing to her and they know her as well she use to hunt smaller prays and they just passed the leopards without any intrerest really.
" Ah well you see all this you can see and a lot more that is our home and well we need to travel around so you can learn how to take care of yourself in the end...well so atleast you can feed yourself "
She sighed she didn't want her cub to grow up she had just gotten use to having her but all babies did grow up someday.

Her attention strayed from her mother as she watched the huge beasts go over them. "WOW!" She said in a gasp as she watched them walk by. "MOMMA! What are those!!" She asked excitingly. Her tail flicked around as she started to walk towards the direction the giraffes had gone.
She nodded to her mother only catching a few last bits of what she said. "Ok! I want to learn to take care of myself. I want to be big and strong!" She jumped around and extended her claws and tried to hiss, but it came out like a cough.
Well, she wasn't exactly the best for that, but she wanted to be able to protect her and her mother. She'd be with her always. Not a day away from her. "Will I be strong mommy?" She asked her mother as she looked up at her now totally forgetting about the giraffes.

Kei looked at the big legged animals walk away she would not try to hunt any of those since those where more lion prey since lion hunted in a group but leopards didn't and there was plenty of other food to eat around here.
" Well those are called giraffes "
She laughed her girl would surley get strong since she was the only baby she didn't have to worry about food and since Kei was great on finding other places with food that wont be a problem.
" Of course and since you don't have any siblings you get plenty of food~~ "
The time passed and Keilantra raised her girl well atleast she tried to do the best and learn her everything she had to know. They mostly stayed around this area but she showed her other places as well places like the forest, jungle and places that was almost dead but they didn't stay there very long. And indeed Keo was getting bigger and bigger for each day.

Matokeo Muroki woke up. It had been a while since she had first ventured out in the world that was so unfamiliar. Yet, now, it seemed she knew everything like the back of her paw. Always wondering around when her mother was napping. Getting into trouble here and there, yet she didn't leave from her mother for very long. Now she was getting older, it was almost time that she had to part with her. The moment she was dreading most.
She looked over to see that her mother had already been away. Yawning, she stood up and walked towards her mother. She hadn't really realized she was a little bit bigger then her mother. Not by much, but she was. It must be from her father. Which was her next question.
"Will I ever meet my father?" she asked in a tired voice. Flicking her tail gently on the ground and not look at her mother, but looking at the surroundings. It was the first time she had asked this, and the first time she ever really thought of it. She didn't look like her mother that much. Their color was different, only their markings kind of similar.

Keilantra flicked her tail a little as she rested her girl was growing so much maybe that was because of all the food she gave her? well they could both hunt now and they didn't have any problem getting food since if one of them failed then usually the other succeded. Kei opend one of her eyes and looked up at Keo...her father...
Well she still tought he was an idiot that had left her pragnent but it wasn't really natural for males to stick around there females after they mated that still made her wish he would been a lion or something...she still got annoyed thinking about him.
" Hmm well i don't remember much about him either since it was night when i met him...he had a darker color then me and he was pretty calm and not very talkactive but that is actually all i know about him "
Witch was sad actually but her memory was still a little blur from that night.

She wanted to ask her mother why he didn't stay, but she figured she already knew that question. He probably didn't want a family, or he had one already and was just using her mother. Which angered her more. She stayed calm finally looking at her mother. "I guess, one day I'll have to try to find him." Though, she didn't know who to actually look for. All she knew that he was probably the same color as she was.
Soon. Not right away though. She would have to ask him herself why he left without even staying to see her as a cub. Though, for all she knew, he was dead.

Keilantra did understand to some part that her girl wanted to find her father not that she tought she would get anything out from it but she couldn't hold her back if she wanted to see something new in the world she knew she would come back.
" If that is what you want i wont hold you back "
Keilantra needed some time by herself as well maybe she could go on some small adventures herself or maybe see or meet someone new?
" Maybe we could decide a meeting point where we could meet later then? "

Matokeo nodded to her mother. Maybe it was about time that she went on her own for a little bit. Even though, it was mostly likely going to be a very lonely adventure indeed. She moved her claws gently along the solid earth. Her ears slightly back.
Was this good buy, here, this, there last day to spend before going their separate ways. To meet some time in the far future. "Where? Here?" She asked looking at her mother when she asked to meet up another time. Well, when exactly would her mother want her to meet up with her?

Keilantra knew that her daughter needed sometime to get to know herself as well and to discover if she could take care of herself as well so she wouldn't starve to death...Then she started to think...a meeting point...
" Ah well maybe we could meet at that rocky and bushy area where you where born? "
She smiled and hoped her girl would come back to her when she was finished with her discoveries of life. But she trusted her and she knew they would meet again and 2 leopard girls could really need eachother there was still possible that anyone of them could get pragnent and 2 minds was better then one...but she hoped her doughter wouldn't make a mistake like she did.
