Max had never heard of such rooms. To his recollection, he had never seen such rooms, nor noted their existence - and that brought the curiosity to the summit of the highest mountain of his own mind. His mouth had popped open; his jaw had hung agape as he had stared at Ligeia with bewildered eyes. For a moment he had ceased petting Vorel, but had soon began again after looking away. The feeling was just too cool.
He couldn't wait to tell Kenneth what he had done while he were sitting around and reading his boring old books. In a slow manner, Max's mouth had closed, the teen clenching together as he smiled his toothy smile. Once more he had halted his attention to Vorel and had stepped back, as if having finished with his registration of the feel of the dragon.
"Wow!" He had exclaimed before whirling around to face the older individual once again. His eyes had seemed to sparkle in that habitual manner. He seemed bright, eager, surprised. "Snow? Snow and Rivers - those sound like fun! You can slide in snow, right? Can't you? Is it like ... Uhm." What had the word been? "Tile! Is it like Tile?"
Smooth tile floors. They were almost ideal for sliding around on. Max couldn't help but wonder if snow were any better. It was simply in his nature.
"Uhm. Nice to meet you too!" Max's face had remained bright. Idly, he had began rocking on his heels.
"You know a lot about this place."

Vorel blinked seeming to come out of a dazed state when the pettings stopped, looking over to his partner and gave a toothy grin. It would seem that the Frost was very much a fan of this kid.
"Slide in snow? Yes I think so. People go sledding in the winter down hills so surely its good for sliding around on." He was sure though that if one couldn't slid on it they could at least sled on it given they found something that could be used for a sled at least.
"My Dad is a teacher here so I am here quite a bit, plus I have had a lot of various classes too so I know the layout of the place pretty well." And he'd gotten to use a lot of the fun rooms either helping his dad or for classes of his own. Even funner then his own classes were the ones Vorel had since they were in some of the cool terrain rooms too.

Max's tail had seemed to rhythmically shift; the rings had clanked against the floor as his smile reached its peak. His favorite activity of all was sliding, and he was always seeking some new surface that would top the charts of the greatest materials for the act. Tile, as of that moment, had been the only thing he had truly experienced. That was unfortunate, and it brought a small twinge of agitation to his eyes.
"Cool!" He had began, his rings clanking out an internal beat. "I like sliding. Sometimes I hit things, though. Then they fall over. Big mess! But it makes a cool noise too - like, like, like CRASH! or BOOM! or RAT-TAT-TAT!"
Heaving a sigh, Max had settled down. For a moment, he had become inquisitive, as if Ligeia's statements had caught him off guard. After brushing off his red shorts and ruffling his own hair, he had become almost steady in expression. "I think Pie works here too - but he isn't very smart." A toothy smile had been flashed as Max had seemingly danced on his toes, shifting somewhat to peek just beyond the two. "I want to see places like that too. They sound like fun! Can we go see one?" His voice had piped as he had glanced back towards the building. He seemed blissfully unaware of the spontaneous nature of his own proposal, having settled in well enough with the two strangers. They were kindly, and he found them fascinating. That was enough for his mind to process into treating them as if he had known them for several years. Clacking his rings, he had shifted to remove a few, fiddling with them meticulously, obsessively. "I bet they're good for lots of games."

The owl gave a little laugh at the explanation complete with sound effects about how Max knocked things over with his sliding expeditions, "That sounds quite interesting, I hope you haven't gotten hurt to bad?" Sounded like it was possible if he were going crashing about into things. He seemed to be all in once piece from what Ligeia could see though.
"I don't see why we can't go and see one of the room, which one would you like to go and see?" He asked, he knew the way to quite a few different rooms so he would let Max decide which one it was that he wanted to check out.

Max had giddily danced in place. His rings had rattled as his tail tapped the ground, and his eyes had dazzled with a greater brightness. He was an energetic toddler, one could say, and that never seemed to fade. It only grew stronger with the encouragement of conversation and attention. Laughing lightly, the otter had shaken his head. Wildly, he had smacked his tail against the ground, a loud clank resonating. "Uh-uh. Never." One of his hands had lightly smacked his own head. "It's hard - doesn't hurt. Nope. Nope. Doesn't hurt; people get mad, though. They don't like sliding, but that's just because they can't do it." Meekly, he had brushed a hand over his fur, gleefully admiring the fact that it was sleek and trim - perfect within his own eyes. "I did hurt once." He had frowned for a moment, glancing back at his tail to count his rings. "I lose these sometimes. I don't like losing these. 'specially reds. Reds are my favorite. Losing them hurts."
Without explaining the matter, he had swiftly jumped up. Ligeia's inquiry and suggestion had filled him with a euphoria. He had frozen, staring in disbelief before settling his hands behind his back. For a moment, it had appeared as if he were trying hard to appear serious and confident. Older. "We can really go?" What a hard decision! He wasn't certain which one to ask about. The rivers. The snow. The ice. They all had sounded perfect, but, most of all, there was ... The water. He liked the water. He was driven to the water, and wanted to be near it. That sounded fine. "Can we see the river?" He'd nodded his head after a while. He wanted to hear what it sounded like; he wanted to know what it felt like. His heart shrieked for the chance to play in such a setting.

The owl nodded before he motioned,"Alright then, lets go explore the river classroom." He said to the otter before turning to look at his dragon, "Come on Vorel, we are going to bring Max to visit the river room and play there, doesn't that sound like fun?"
Vorel gave a nod of his head before hurrying towards the front door to D-Corp. He was all for going and going right now! He had to stop in front of the doors though as it was easier to have Ligeia open the door then it was to do it himself.
Ligeia gave a shake of his head before leading the way for both Max and Vorel.

"Yes!" Max had exclaimed in a happy manner. His energy was growing by the moment, and it seemed unlikely that it would stop. He was a frenzy of excitement simply from the sheer mention of a classroom. Still, it was a finer boost than the alternative. Better energy than nothing, and that was precisely how Max thought within his own subconscious as he hurried after the two individuals. He had forgotten about the epic escape from Kenneth, and the desire to roam the outdoors. There was something better inside. That was all he knew, and he would chance getting caught running about if it meant he got to see something enticing.
With his tail clattering about behind him, Max had seemed to dance a walk. His feet moved briskly, and his arms had swayed. In a twitching manner, his head had turned from left to right to observe his surroundings; then he had stopped. He had straightened himself and given a sheepish smile to the two before bounding again to chatter. "We can swim in it, right? Right?" He had jumped somewhat, turning around and still taking in what he saw. "Are there fish too? Oh! A-a-and rocks! Like those big ones you can jump offa!" The faster he spoke, the more his words had seemed to jumble into their own fit of pronounciational errors. They melded together, and twisted to confuse one another, until Max himself had needed to stop himself from tripping over his speech. His whiskers had wriggled as he stuck out his tongue over the matter.
When he had calmed his own questioning torrents, he had given another jump and run to try and walk backwards in front of the owl. "What do you do here? Do you guys go there all the time?"

"I know that there are some rocks though I am not sure if there are fish in the water." He said, he'd never seen any but that didn't mean that they weren't there. Vorel might have just scared them away when he got to close to the water, "We would have to look to see if there were fish."
He lead the way to the elevator, pressing a button to call it down to them, "We go to the different classrooms from time to time, Vorel likes to practice freezing the water. Sometimes we go to the snowy room to play hide and seek." He and his dragon played a lot of games in the various classrooms because they were so interesting the way they were set up.

He had appeared mildly disappointed in the idea of there being no fish. The possibility seemed ridiculous. What was a river without fish? He supposed it was running water, but it seemed lacking. Fish were the key. Fish, rocks. Rushing water and rocks. Green scenery - soft dirt. A crisp smell. That was how it looked in the pictures. That was how it sounded when he had asked questions about it.
Stomaching his feelings, he had given a good nod. He had clacked his tail habitually, hurrying along toward the elevator until he had come to a skidded stop. "Hide'n'seek? What's that? 's like tag?" Max had quirked his head to the side, eying Vorel and Ligeia with great wonder over the statement. He did love games, but he had never heard of Hide and Seek. "I like games - they're fun!" He had given another nod of his head before pausing abruptly. He had seemed peculiar, balance shifting between his feet. "It's okay to just go to the ... The... T-the Classrooms?" If it were alright ... I would be amazing!
