"EEeeeewwww!" Shayla cringed yet again. "I dun like spiders! But wormies are fun to play wit.... I toss 'em in da pond for the fishies to eat." She muttered, not realizing it caused the worm to die to feed the fish.
"But wets go!" Shoving a fist in the air, she all but turned and charnged back towards the house. "He we come buggies!" It was a battle cry... In a way.
As they came upon the back yard, a tall man with long blue hair happened to be glancing around. When he saw Shayla, his eyes narrowed in that fatherly way. "Shayla... I told you not to leave the back yard."

Surprised that her new friend didn't like spiders - honestly, what WASN'T there to like? - Uziri followed after with a yodeling kind of warcry, her hood flying back and hair streaming behind her. Her running didn't miss a beat as she passed what she assumed was Shayla's Da, and waved to him out of politeness.
"Heya Shayla's Da we is gonna go find bugs okay bye," she said in a tumbling rush, going right past him.

Shayla though managed to skid to a stop in the grass. That battle cry had been short lived as the dictator came into view. Gulping, she opened her mouth to explain but was cut off by Urizi.
She wanted to follow, shifting from foot to foot as she stared up at her father. With the ok nod from the man, she turn and bolted for Urizi. Jason could just save the father lecture for later.
The pond wasn't hard to notice, it was rather big. Or at least big to a child. Moving to the edge Shayla glanced in at the koi fish and giggled at the multi colored blurs under the water.
"Seeeee! Ain't da fishes pretty? Daddy said he had dem since he was a baby." She explained, grabbing a little rock to drop in for the neat sound it made.
Jasper too had followed, perching himself on a rock near the water. Oh yes, those fish were so pretty and would be better in his belly... But he was still too small to snag one. One day little dreamer. Gently he settled down to just sun bathe.

"I like fishies," Uziri said, throwing herself onto the ground and arching her head over the water until her nose nearly broke the surface. "I has a fishie with Rizu. We named it Puppy."
Because Puppy was obviously the best name for a goldfish.
Trailing her fingers over the surface of the water and giggling as the fish scattered, she looked up at Shayla.
"Are they peer-ah-nahs?"
