just that one dragon was done in MS Paint the rest were mostly OC 1.1 or Corel Painter 2 essentials....

pretty art. biggrin
i really like the way you put a lot of detail into the fur of the animals in the first few pictures. the main things you might want to work on, though, is the contrast and the blending. i have problems with contrast, too, so i'm afraid i can't give many tips there. sweatdrop
i use open Canvas v4.06 when i CG. to blend my colors together, i usually shade with the darker color (i use the watercolor brush), then lightly go over it with the base color. to add more contrast, after i've done that, i go over the darker parts of the shadows with an even darker color, and use the same technique to blend them all together. when you do that, though, use the color you first used to shade to blend it together. it blends really nicely. ^.^
