We love him because hes a genius, an artist, because he's Erik and becuase he's Erik. He's passionate, possesive (a bit..a lot much : P)

We love Erik because he is so much better than Raoul. He's a musical genius, can sing, is devoted to the woman he loves. And his cape does the MOST awesome woosh thing when he moves.
And because Raoul is a whiny angsty emo kid.

Duelriel We love him because you'd be hard-pressed to find someone more devoted to you... And he's a fricken' genius! And he's dark and mysterious. Like a ninja. Only he sings better than a ninja. ninja We love him because Erik is a hero with problems who turns villan then hero again, then he turns into some lonely guy we all cry for and love. We love Erik because his isolation is relatable, even if the reason for it is not. Because his anguish is palpable and we just want the underdog to come out on top for once.

We love him because he is deformed, paranoid, devoted, kinda crazy, rejected from societey and just all out wonderful, not nessecarilly in that order.

The Phantom in passionate, the way he sing's and and's his anger to his voice is just wonderful, and he know's how to dress in style without overdoing it like the others.

I love the Phantom because he is so alone. He never really knew anything but the life which was against him because of his disfigurment. I think another reason I like him is because he is obsessed with the things he desires. Like many people I know including myself
That and oh come on who couldnt love the guy.......much better then pompous rich boy Raoul......
