When the bird he held started to kick in an attempt to escape the snake tightened its hold on him, "No! No escaping, need credit for the class." He said, slowing but surely making his way back towards the teacher. He just had to get there, hand the bird over, and then he would win at the class! Just had to make sure not to lose his grip or squeeze to hard. If he hurt the kid he was sure that would be a failing grade even if he brought him back.
He thought he could see red up ahead, hopefully it was the teacher and not just a strange shadow. He started towards it a little quicker.

Credit for class? Well that might be true, but- that didn't mean he wanted to be hauled along. Besides, he'd get in more trouble this way, hadn't Haru said to not get caught? Certainly that had been part of the deal, that and not getting himself killed. Though the second bit was his own rule on the matter. Having a snake catch you wasn't the best of things to have happen.
Certainly not. So the order was thrown out rather quickly in favor of continued attempts, which didn't work too well. About the only time he did let up was when he spotted a patch of red ahead. Which led to two thoughts. One that he might survive, followed by the fact he was going to be in trouble again. Seeing as he had sort of failed in what he'd been told to do. Avoid being caught. Stay with the snake or deal wit Haru... neither seemed like very good choices, but at least one meant less fangs. Yes, Haruki might be harsh, but he was harmless aside from words.
As for the teacher himself, he'd simple dismissed his surroundings to an extent. He had brought a book for the purpose of taking up the time between start and finish. So long as there weren't any screams that were too loud and the dragon stayed put he didn't need to take part in the whole ordeal. Only when the sound of rustling off towards the forest caught his attention did he glance up from his page. Back already? Obviously Revon had the survival skills of an infant, something he'd likely need to work on. Still, he'd known the boy would get caught in the end. That was the point afterall. Why hold a class you didn't believe the student could pass?

Baroness was up on her two feet the moment she caught scent of her boy coming back, large wings giving a bit of a flap. Surely now that he was coming back she no longer had to sit with the silent man? She started to creep forward as Ter and his 'prey' came out of the shadows, through some bushes.
"Back!" Ter happily announced then held up his the captured, encoiled Revon for inspection. He was all in one piece and everything, that should give him extra credit even! An unvoiced thought.
Baroness rushes over to Ter's side and he held a hand out to her, scratching her between her spines. After he figured he'd held the bird out long enough to show that everything was good he loosed him, coils sliding away from Revon's form to coil back under Ter and he sat back on them, "Did I pass then?"

"Of course." The man had waited quietly as the boy announced his return, the dragon eager to meet it's keeper once more. Well, Revon seemed well enough, if not freaked out, even when tied up. Being released showed he was good and well beyond the possible mental scarring. Oh well, next time he'd learn to hide better, survival skills were important, even if he knew how to fly. What if someday those wings of his were broken?
"Yes, you did. He's in once piece and you returned in a respectable amount of time." In other words Revon proved to be less than hard to catch. "You pass, but don't let it go to your head. One success doesn't make your a master, practice is needed even for those who master a skill. It keeps one sharp in their fields of expertise." As always, no success was left without a warning for what came to those who grew too egotistic in their thoughts. "That said, you are free to head home." Ah yes, he did have his own routine about things.
Revon didn't really move after he was released, rather.. he just blinked a few times and sat there clueless. He was fine, but- Haru didn't seem mad either. So was it done? The snake wasn't going to bite him, or eat him, or... "H-ha..?"
A sigh as the man walked over and lightly patted the raven's head once with the book he had. "Up, you're not hurt, and you can't be tired after such a short time. Honestly, you play that game too much." He shifted the book to his side before starting back for the building. "Tomarrow we'll have to spend some time teaching you how survive in situations akin to this more successfully." Not exactly the most comforting things to say, but it would work. Revon was the type to do as he was told afterall. He'd be fine, perhaps a snack when they were back in the office.
((I'll consider this done unless you want to post one more time. So I'll move it in a day or two if you don't post.))
