"Squirt!" Fauste frowned, pushing back whatever doubts and thoughts he had of Seth as he rushed forward. He took Saga from Mere's tail, muttering a soft 'Thank you' as he carried his nephew to the couch that the Krystals were sitting on a moment ago. He propped up his head using a pillow, and felt his forehead.
"No fever..." He mumbled, before checking Saga's eyes. Frowning a little, Fauste looked up at Melody, "Normal... Probably blacked out due to exhaustion and something along those lines, although we'd better call Dragain to pick him up and bring him to a doctor, just in case. It's weird, since I was sure he was fine a minute ago."
Saga groaned. It felt like a brick... No wait, a million bricks, had just fell on his head all at once. He could hear ringing in his ears, and his vision was blurry. All he could see were fuzzy shapes and blobs of colours that he believed belong to Fauste, Melody and Mere. His body felt a little numb as well.
Was this an aftereffect?

She bent down beside Fauste, brushing Saga's fringe away from his eyes, as she frowned in concern. How come he had fainted right after they had disappeared? Illogical... Or maybe it was just coincedence. Then again, Kaylee said she didn't believe in coincedence. Everything happened for a reason. Even just now? She asked herself, but brushed that thought away impatiently. Right now, they had to see to it that the little boy was okay. She gave him a nod, to show that she agreed with what he had just said.
Mereneth gave a small grin at Fauste, a little proud that his tail had stopped the other boy from having a concussion. He was still thinking of what had just happened, as he walked to peer at Saga. Really, what had happened.

Saga opened his eyes, blinking at the bright light. He held up a hand to shield his eyes from the light, and tried to sit up, groaning as he realised that it took much effort just to even move his body. He gave up trying to get up, and turned his head to where he thought Fauste was standing, "Fauste nii-sama..."
The male frowned, "Hm... You can still talk? What do you want?"
"I... I'm hungry." He half-whimpered, putting down his hand. Slowly, his vision returned completely and the light didn't seem as glaring anymore. He had to think up of an excuse... So that nobody would suspect a thing. "I'm a growing boy... Mother says I need more food. I didn't know it was like this."
Fauste stared at the boy, "Well, you didn't eat a lot just now..."
"Your cooking taste like mother's..."
"It's can't be that bad."
"Yeah... It's worse, maybe."

Immediately, Melody felt herself grinning at Saga's remark, and she inwardly thanked the little boy for making her smile in days. "That's true." She remarked, casting a glance at the pyro. "Mereneth's a bottomless pit."
"And..." Her aquamarine eyes were narrowed at Fauste, a hint of an amused giggle on her lips. "Really? No wonder you never did provide decent meals around here."
"Mom!" Mereneth protested, giving a little pout, but grinning at the fact that the tension in the room had ceased. "I don't eat THAT much." Even though, he knew he took snacks in between meals, and asked for second and third servings.

"I'm... Not that bad?" Saga gave a light laugh as he slowly regained energy. He gripped the back of the couch, and use it to pull himself up into a sitting position. Rubbing his head gently, he mused out loud with a slight grin on his rather pale lips, "Fauste nii-sama's cooking is... Tasteless, and often too burnt."
"That's why I love your father's cooking." Dragain laughed as she rushed into the room. The woman had arrived just in time to hear Saga's comment, and felt relieved to see him well enough to joke. When the news of her son fainting reached her, she had immediately left for Fauste's residence.
The edge of Fauste's lips twitched upwards, "So my message got through."
"Why didn't you use the phone? If the fax machine was faulty..."
"I asked someone else to help me fax you," He replied, frowning a little, "And he can't actually touch the phone nor talk to you."
"Forget that I had ever asked."
She sat down beside Saga, massaging his head for him as she gave him a smile, "Feeling better?"
"Yes, just feeling hungry now..."

"Dragain!" Melody exclaimed, turning around to smile at the woman. "Long time no see." She supressed a giggle at their conversation, but a rather forlorn, tired smile crossed her features.
So this was Saga's mother. And he had a father as well. Mereneth mused over this silently. He could see that his mother was still rather affected by recent events. He wondered if he got a dad, would she be happier? Or not...

"Let's go home and get you something to eat, then," Dragain replied with a slight smile on her lips as she raised an eye-brow at the way Saga squirmed when she mentioned 'home' and 'eat' together in one sentence. It quickly dawned on her what he was thinking, and as an after thought, she added, "Your father's baking something for you. He guessed that you wouldn't eat much here..."
"Was that an indirect insult?" Fauste narrowed his eyes, having half a mind to call Saniiro right away.
She ignored Fauste's remarks, and turned to look at Melody. The woman flashed her a smile, "Yes, long time no see, Melody! How have you been?"
"Father's cooking?" Saga piped up, scrambling to his feet as he hopped down onto the ground from the couch. He held Dragain's hand and pulled her towards the door as he tried to distract her from Melody, "Let's go back now? I'm starving!"

A grin slid across Melody's face. It felt like instant relief, after days of being upset for days. "C'mon, she didn't mention anything about your cooking Mr Overly-Sensitive." And it was great to tease Fauste again. Coming over here wasn't such a bad idea after all.
"I'm fine. You?"
Woah, was Saga that hungry? Mereneth fought back a smirk. Still he couldn't blame the boy; if he ever heard that Aunt Lyll cooked anything...he'd rush as fast, no maybe faster back home.

"Who are you calling-" Fauste yelled, before he abruptly stopped, narrowing his eyes. He straightened up, and smirked, "Humph, I'm not going to get angry at you... There's no real need to anyway. I mean, it's not like your cooking is any better than mine, right?"
Dragain pulled Saga back, and turned to look at Melody. As she felt another tug from the boy, she laughed softly, "Well, the usual, I guess? Dealing with hyper kids isn't exactly a relaxing job! I'm sure you understand, since you have kids of your own!"
Saga whined, and tugged at his mother's hand again, trying to lead her out of the door. He really was feeling hungry... Especially at the mention of his father's cooking. He could taste it now... Cakes that taste of rich chocolate, and little cupcakes that melt in your mouth.
Wa... He wants to go home!
