Ooh. So many good ones....
If we're going Disney, I'll say Maleficent. She scared me senseless as a kid. And she can turn into a dragon. How wicked is that?
If we're going not Disney....the Headless Horseman.

XANA from Code Lyoko. Gotta love evil artificial intelligences.
And a few more, but I forget how to spell their names right now, so forget it.

I'd say either Voldemort (obviously), Darth Vader, or the Headless Horseman.

Without a doubt, a flash of regret, no second thought: Insomnia. She is the greatest villain of all. Depriving life of it's sleep, it's dreams.. Unless you are under the influence of hallucinagens 24/7, you won't be in a dreamlike state ever again.. The physical body is nothing, nothing but a canvas for which your mind is to paint on.. Insomnia's goal is to trap every living thing in it's body for all time.. Never sleeping.. Never dreaming.. Never dying.. Each morning, you'd wake up, and curse yourself for existing, hating yourself, you'd become a self-loathing shrivelled up ball of hate and anguish. That's the ultimate villain, not sleeping.
