On instinct Z moved forward her body postitioning so that she could capture her 'prey' with ease. And Capture if she did...though with her hands. Claw like nails bit into the flesh of the melon and Z looked at her capture prey a bit embaressed.
"Sorry sorry, habit." she replied as she tossed the fruti back to Orphues. "try again? and did taht count? cause i didn't really miss..." she asked pouting a bit.

Orpheus lifted an eyebrow before he gave a little laugh, "Ok, ok. You can get credit since you did capture this one pretty well." He said looking the 'wounds' on the one that she had tossed back to him.
He couldn't say no when she was pouting like that, he wasn't good at it, "Ready? I am gonna toss it to you again, try to get your middle limbs to catch it this time." He said then gave it a toss.

Zyanya awarded Orpheus with one of her quirky smiles and then readied herself once more. okay so she only needed to catch two more. If only it was as easy as she thought.
As he threw the fruit she went for it, got confused with which limb was going for ti and ended up having them all crashe together. She winced, it was kinda painful. THe fruit went splat on the ground.
"ehe...oops?"

"A good try and you still have seven tries so no worries." He said, fetching another of them, "Are you ok?" The crash of limbs together worried him a little bug at her comment he figured that she was ok. The next one a white on the outside melon that had green in the middle. If she plattered this one and it stuck at least it would match right he thought to himself with a grin, "Ready? Go!" He tossed the green melon to her.

SHe nodded her head at his comment. Of course she was fine, she wouldn't admit she wasn't fine to anyone. She had pride in being tough. "Yah I am ready.." She continued looking a bit sour that she had missed so badly the second try.
OK, the green fruit came at her, she needed to focus, first decide which limb was going for it! Middle! Right side! Distance closing in and...
Splut..
The sound of fruit meeting solid side leg echoed in the air. She looked a bit surprised, and then felt a bit silly, she looked like she was a skewer.... But she did get the fruit! She looked at Orpheus proudly.
"Eh! look ! i got it!"

"Yes!" Orphues cheered, clapping his hands for her. That was pretty awesome to see how easily she had stuck that melon and how it was hanging on her leg currently. Very nice, "Very, very nice Zyanya. Your doing really well!" He complimented her before stepping over to pull the melon off her leg, "There we go." He gave the melon a little toss out of the way before going get a new one.

PRAISE glorious praise! Zyanya beamed. She liked praise any compliment made her day, well..perhaps not EVERY compliment btu still.
"Ok so i just have to catch one mroe right?" she asked and then rolled her shoulders and flared out her wings a bit. "Is there a shower i cn use afterwards?"

"Yep, just one more to go." He said, as went to grab up a new melon, it could very well be the last one of the day. He could then go and pawn the remaining fruit off on random staff of D-corp... he gave a bit of a grin, "And yes, there are showers that you can make use of in the girl's locker rooms." Or at least he figured so, he'd never actually be IN the girls locker rooms but as they were no doubt the same thing as the guys ones. He gave a mental shrug then tossed the melon up and down in his hands, "Ready?" He asked this a moment before giving it a toss.

Zyanya nodded her head, rolled her shoulders again and then setteled down her eyes narrowing as she looked at Orpheus.
"Let us get this over with!" She stated not annoyed but more in a impish way. SHe enjoyed her time with Orpheus but she really wanted him to take her to Ter. She wanted to spend mroe time with him.

Orphues laughed and the melon was sent Zyanya's way and he waited to see the results, to see if it were another good, clean 'kill' against the danger of the 'fruit kind'. Already many of them had been defeated by the mantis child, would this one be next?

When it came to reflexes the mantis learned quickly, using her upper leg (she only has two extra side legs oops >.<) she reared it back, and with a added battlecry she speared it through. She would indeed be scary in a fight if it ever came to one. Fast agile and a quick learner.
"Chaa" she excliamed as the fruit really did seem to explode on impact, more fruit covered her, good thing her clothes....well lets jsut say there wasn't a whole lot of cloth in the first place so there wouldn't be much in the way of cleaning.
"did that count? it exploded...." she muttered looking at the mess covering her extra legs.

Orpheus gave a squeaking sound, taking a step back as some fruit from the exploded melon made it as far as hitting him, "Ah! Yes, I think that should count as extra." He laughed, brushing melon bits off of him, "You very much pass this class. With flying colors..." He couldn't help but laugh at that too, flying colors... of various melons.

Zyan had to stop herself from jumping for joy, instead she smeared her sticky hand on her skirt and looked up at him with a simple grin on her face. "Yah I passed!" She said though her joy leaked out of her tone and she laughed a bit.
"you said Ter was around?" She asked and then stopped herself. He was her teacher...she shoul show a bit more rsepect...
"er I mean thank you for the lesson." She continued on hastily and gave the teacher a small bow. She had seen martial arts students do this to their teachers...so she assumed it was just a formal way of saying thanks.

Orpheus gave a laugh, "Yes, he is around. Come on we will find him. The best place to find him would be stuck to the TV at home, hes convinced the trick to beating his 'eternal enemy' can be found on his favorite TV show..." He didn't have the heart to tell him that it might not be since both he and Baroness behaved so well when stuck to the tv...

Zyan soon forgot the fact she was covered in icky sticky fruit goo and followed her teacher eagerly, she wanted to find Ter again, she wondered if Baroness would be with him this time. Last time they had met was at the peircing parlor.
Hiding her glee she walked as if there was nothign entirely exciting about to happen. She was pretty good and hiding her emotions.
