"Let's just say I'll never see her again. And I miss her," Yue evasively said. He did not provide a clue of who this female was, and preferred it that way.
Instead he began to hum a song. His fingers itched to play the melody composed in his mind. Tilting his head towards Sayuri, a lock of hair covered one of his amethyst eyes.
He briefly gestured towards the keys of the piano, "Do you mind if I play something?"

"Everywhere."
There was that bittersweet smile again. "There's something everywhere that reminds me of her..."
Yue lifted the obsidian cover of the piano, revealing ivory and jet piano keys. Unconciously flexing his fingers to keep them limber, he placed both hands on the keys.
A beautiful ballad resounded in the room. Almost three-fourths of the way into the song, Yue suddenly recovered another memory. Her favorite song...
Without even the slightest of all hesitation, Yue incorporated Pachebel's Canon in G into the song. Is music the key to undoing the locks to his human past?
With the last chord, the brief song ended. Turning in his seat, Yue glanced at Sayuri, "Well... What did you think about it?"
((I suggest actually listening to the song. It's performed by one of my favorite singers and he created a piano solo version. And my favorite part is 3:24 to 3:52 (The Pachebel's Canon part) heart ))

Yue gave a small frown at her empty response. Deliberately moving closer to the kimono-clad figure, he leaned towards her face.
Inches separated them as Yue allowed pleasure to color his voice, "Really?"
His eyes peered into hers as if with that look, he could tell what she was truly thinking. Yet his innocent face softly smiled at her.
((Oh, Yue's leaning in on Sayuri... What will she do? It looks like he the *****> is close enough for a kiss or something... xd ))

"Really-really? Or just really-don't-care really?"
Yue slanted his head such that her finger slid off. At her answer, he mentally arched a dark eyebrow.
Just to tease her a bit more, he tilted his head and leaned in again. She wasn't the only one who could play mind games.
"Ne, why are you stammering?" Yue pressed

If you so wish to know Yamashita Yue...I really do not care really. >>She reached up again, pushing him back with that finger and wondering how hard she would have to bite him to make him go away<< stare I do not like it...when people get...close >>Sayuri softly admitted. Well, not that whole truth. She just didn't like people getting close when she didn't feel like being social. Which most of time was the case<<

Yue shrugged and allowed himself to be pushed away, "Understandable."
He straightened from his position and walked away. "If you truly thought that way, you should have said so in the first place. I'm a grown person; I can handle the brutal truth if I need to," he said over his shoulder.
When he reached his destination, Yue trailed a finger through a line of sheet music. The previous song didn't fit his mood anymore. He needed something a bit...darker...

Yue shrugged one of his shoulders again. "Whatever fits," he said simply.
The dark haired shinigami continued to skim through the music. Was there nothing to match his mood?
Briefly glancing over at the ten year old, he inquired, "Is there something you'd like to hear?"

Yue gave the girl a sidelong glance. How did that relate to his question?
"If I throw in a complete mess of chords, maybe," he said wryly, "Beyond that... I don't know, I usually don't go out of my way to cause someone to cry."
Trailing the titles of the songs again, he wanted to growl in annoyance. They were all too... tame...
"Don't they have something by Alkan...? Like Scherzo Diabolico?" he muttered softly

Something... sad...?
Yue quickly flipped through the O section of the sheet music. Surely it would be here right?
His fingers deftly went through the titles of the performers. 'Ah, here it is.'
He extracted the few sheets of music and went over to the piano. After the instrumental introduction, he began to sing the lyrics written in the music.
