He watched her, knowing that she had a past with someone who spoke french meant that she would probably start speaking more french around him. He didn't mind, it often happened to some of his other friends who seemed to try to impress him sometimes but often made fools of themselves. "I s'pose. 'Zo I 'ave non idea where we are." he smirked, not smiled almost a devilish seductive look. He took his steps out of the mud into the cooler slushy snow that seemed to be sticking around. "But I guess we could walk around if vous would like?"

She gazed back up at him, he was an unusual stallion. A mix between friendly and reserved. A past had probably caught up with him, all well, he was nice to her, now. Blinking softly she spoke, no longer using the french since it came and went just like her memories, "I really.. don't know either..." She giggled, a high tinkling noise and smiled at him openly. "I have no idea, since I'm new here too.. I've been exploring for awhile." Lovey pretended to seriously ponder his suggestion and grinned, "I'd love to go for a walk, pick a direction, sir and we'll see where we end?"

He watched her she had an odd look in her eye and he didn't know if he liked it yet. "I am not new, I 'ave been 'ere since I was born. I just do not get out much vous could say." He looked at the land as she told him to pick a direction, he was used to making decisions it was something he was good out and most of the time he kept the ones he was with out of trouble. He had recalled a few fights with some unruly others whom also inhabitated the land. "I s'pose 'zis way?" he looked more to the North. He shrugged, he could get home quick cause of wings but she could not so he felt slightly bad for her.

She calmed a bit, sometimes her tempermant flared to the side of exhuberant, but why not? Shaking her mane softly she looked back and forth, "Not get out much?" She blinking curiously up at him, "So where did you stay? Something must have kept you inside.. or you were inside with someone or... to avoid someone?" She frowned lightly, "It is none of my business, do not answer if vou don't wish it." Her eyes scanned towards the direction and she shrugged, "It's as good a way as any, I've no home so if I never return nobody shall be affect." While a bit dramatic, it was true that Lovey had no bonds to keep her anywhere or with anyone.

He kept an eye on her as she asked rather personal questions and oddly he didn't mind...yet. "I stayed in 'ze teepee 'zat my father, 'iz friend and 'iz friend's daughter stays." he lied. She didn't need to know anymore about his past than he already told her. "Zat is good, I try to keep it a rule not to get close to anyone. But sometimes I fail, but I stay far enough away to where I want to be." He looked forward as they walked. It was completely silent other than their voices, no wind nor ruffle in the lands...it was odd.

She smiled at him easily, for whatever reason she had always been comfortable around stallions that made some uneasy. Lovey just figured he had need for his secrets and even if she may accidently tread too close, a simple "no" never hurt her. "That's a lot of people for one teepee..." She grinned and tossed a piece of hair over her mane, "I believe I'd be cramped.. I guess I shall have to be thankful I'm a homeless bum... Well.. I have a two-legger.. but she's a bit clingy so I avoid going to what she wants me to call home." The silence was, well, weird. Usually the chattering of other Soquilis could be heard, or even birds... It was... soothing.

"I 'ave heard of 'zome of 'ze teepeez 'aving more 'zen ten in 'zem!" he exclaimed watching her. "I try to fit in when I can but 'zometimes it doesnt work out like it should." he watched her fling her hair so carelessly....it was longer than he thought but it still looked good on her. She sported it well, but whom was noticing?

"Oh my.. ten!?" She giggled in delight, it seemed almost impossible, "I can't even imagine how big THAT teepee would have to be then!" She smiled lightly, calming a bit from her silliness and gazed up at him through a piece of blue-purple hair. The stuff continueally fell into her eyes.. She couldn't wait until her forelock was long enough to join the rest of her mane, "Did you draw-straws to see who was left outside?"

"I do not know, mine doez not 'ave more 'zen five. But I t'ink in 'ze near future more will be coming..." he was making a prediction with all the other new soquili coming. His orbs watched as her mane fell into her eyes, it was kind of cute...cute? What in the hell, he had never even said the word nor thought but he had heard the word from Cynara talking about baby bunnies and...foals. Ew...he thought. Foals.

"Well.. as I've said it just me.." Lovey wrinkled her nose at the hair in her face and turned away quickly.. and sneezed, "Oi.. awful stuff.. tickles my nose sometimes I think... or perhaps I'm allergic to something?" She grinned up at him -hairfree- and noticed his eyes seemed disgusted for a moment.. She'd rather he lose interest on her and think of other things than find.. sneezes? disgusting. Lovey smiled beguiling as she could and winked, "A penny for your thoughts, monsieur?"

"Oh, no need to worry mademoiselle. Tis not vous that my thoughts were t'inking of if it showed on my face. My mind had wandered to o'ter thoughts." he was semi-embarrased about how they came up but the fact that he had let his guard down and let it show was not like him. His blue eyes roamed over her hoping she wouldn't ask but knew she probably would to his own discrestion.

"Well then... It's none of my business to know what was on your mind so we shall leave it at that, non?" She smiled and shook out her mane in the sunlight matching his stride with a lazy ambling one of her own. Thank god for long legs. Lovey sighed softly, content for now just to walk and soak up the sun's rays, "Mmm.. don't you love this time of the year?"

"What time iz 'zat?" he hadn't experienced a true summer. Being out in the mountains prevented the warmth of the sun and the nice breeze, playing in a pool and well, playing in general. His eyes watched her carefully awaiting an answer, to be honest with 'em he hadn't 'played in general. He shrugged it off, he had heard of the word and watched foals rompe but he had never did it.

She blinked and cocked her head, it looked like he was going to be just as inexpierianced in life as she was, "Well.. springtime.. Winter's starting to fade away and the summer's heat hasn't yet overpowered everything." She breathed deeply and smiled, "Even the air has a fresher scent to it I think..." She paused and looked up at him, curious to see if he noticed the change or perhaps she was just crazy.

"I s'pose it haz, what iz thiz z'ummer vous speak of?" as he grew moer confused his accent thickened. He hadn't an idea what she was speaking of, this spring and summer. What was it? He was used to the coldness of snow and the slickness of ice. The feeling that seemed to grown inside him wthin each passing day and she was speaking of warmth. Truly his feelings would not grow like whatever she spoke of, he didn't even understand the concept.
