-He smiled pleasantly to the compliment, light colored tail lifting to give a few soft sways as she agreed to the little arrangement.- "Well then! Sounds like a plan."
"Of course I'm still rather intent on resting awhile. Perhaps we could leave tommorow? Or in the late afternoon today, if you prefer sooner."
"Were you headed any certain way?" -His eyes drifted to the savannah, looking as though a sign might pop up and show him the way.-

Toma smiled brighlty and shook her head. "Nope, no certain direction. Have you been travelling in any certain way?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. "And a nice rest would be wonderful. I usually travel at night, actually, because of the sun and my coat." She said, pushing herself further into the shade of the tree.

-At her agreement he simply smiled a wide toothy grin, creeping forward a few more lengths until his whole body was covered in shade resting his head lightly upon his paws.-
"I was headed east really, until I find something. A pride or pack.. some new sight. But it would have made no difference to me if the direction had changed. There are things to see every which way you might go."
((Wanna have them drift off in the next couple of posts and start a new rp? Or wanna just timeskip and continue in this one? :3 ))

Toma smiled back at him, nodding slightly. "East it is then." She said, looking in said direction. She wondered if they would come across anything interesting, or if there would just be open plains and wandering to be had. Either way, Toma was glad to have a friend to experience it with.

((Alright, would you like me to start the new one, or would you like to? :3 ))
-Tail swaying another few time, the hyena's maw widened to give another large yawn as he shifted into the cool earth, asking softly as he willed his eyes to stay open a little longer.- "I hope you don't think it too rude of me to nod off so soon then?"
-Smiling mildly, he added.- "I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to actually get to know each other once we're moving." -For now all that mattered was their similar direction, and that she seemed nice enough for some extended company. Even if it was only for a few days.-

Toma smiled over at him, her own head meeting the ground as well. "Not rude at all." She said with a light chuckle. "I believe a nap is a good idea." She closed her eyes softly, and began to drift asleep, but first willed herself to speak once more. "It's good to have a friend." Her words came out softly, and she finally let sleep envelope her.
