Shade in the Shadow Actually, I like Ragnarok more. And...Thor's Children also is teh pwnage. And, to those of you NAY-SAYERS, I shall smite thee, eventually...But, We could always just put in the front page 'We are the Original Metal Guild on Gaia.' agreed 3nodding

Still... You gotta realize some things... We are a general metal guild, so a viking name would suggest Folk Metal, any kind of satan or ect name merely reenforces a negative stereotype about metal fans.
On that note... I've always liked the name Ragnarok.... Make a cool last name, actually. >.>; But chea... We need one that's meaningful as well as stylish... Like... Um...
Lucid Ambience? Just pulling stuff out of mah cornhole. :3

The name should definitely say something about metal, though. I thought the Metal Guild Reborn wasn't bad, if a little unimaginative. As for "Lucid Ambience"...I'm gonna have to go ahead and pass on that as a guild name. Not a bad album title, however. 3nodding

Yeah, but Latin is typically associated with Satanism, and I wanna stear clear of any such association. I like the Reborn Idea the best so far. :3

OKAY! I know this is gonna sound stupid...But, well, some people aren't that bright...and, if we don't spell it out, they might not understand what was are. I mean, I know our name now is a bit, erm, unimaginative...but we need to keep a name people will read and be like, "Oh...look...a guild for metal lovers, I bet they are all amazing, I wanna join!" mrgreen
So, yeah, I think the "reborn" idea is pretty schweet...I mean, it still says "metal" in the title...So, people will either think we like metal, the music, or metalworking...either way! ANYWAY! as long as we put "The Original Metal Guild" on the home page, we will be just fine! *thumbs up*
Yeah, I suck with names, so I'm not even gonna try to think of one XD
Why not put up a pole or something with different ideas?
