The moment the enemy was in sight Mana took to the air. He was use to shots being fired so he skifully avoided them by flying through their sails. Once he saw his chance, he tucked his wings in and fell right on top of a Dementia crew, feet first. Crushing the man below him, he took off again and continued dive bombing the enemy.

Jasper Wolff- Cuore Scuro, Deckhand

Jasper grinned as he leapt into the battle. This was what he had been wanting, something to stir up the blood and provide a bit of amusement. He slashed out at the other crew with a dagger in one hand and his claws on the other, and swung around, knocking into one of the crew with his tail. He dodged a cutlass swipe, although it did manage to slice a bit into his tail, and turned onto the pirate that had done it with a feral look in his eyes. Jasper slashed at the pirates eyes, blinding him temporarily, before turning to look for new prey.

Arabeth Rouge: Dementia- Repair Boy

Ara frowned, the creatures climbing on to their ship were not human, and fighting not human things was not on the list of requirements. She shook of the feeling of dread as one of the ghostly crew moved to strict her, she took the iron hooks from around her waist into her hands and caught it, pushing it down and kicking the creator back. She loosened her grip on the hook and grabbed the rope, using it as a grappling hook to catch another one of the monsters off guard and attack

Rabbit finaly managed to put his boar-like foe to the deck with an lucky and well placed blow from his knife, finding it disturbingly not unlike putting a knife into animal flesh, and couldn't help but wonder how far this would have been from killing something truly human, though there was really little enough time to wonder as something winged down, crushing someone not terribly far off, which made his stomach lurch again. If he hadn't known what they were fighting, he might have mistaken it for an angel. But then again he had fairly little faith in angels at all after nearly being hung, though he resolved to try and keep an eye out for dropping shadows as he plunged back into battle, hoping that he could keep the bile in his stomach where it was until this was over. There was almost a certain numbing quality to the roar of battle, as though he were almost detatched from it, a dangerous feeling that he suspected...

Cosette - Dementia


The young maid had been sleeping in the cargo hold where Jonathan had made her temporary sleeping arrangements. She was started awake, by of all things a book that fell off the self and landed squarely on her head. She sat up with a start, blinking her eyes and looking around. It was then the sounds of the battle reached her. The yelling and screaming from above her followed by the stomping feet of those doing battle.

With a small yelp she threw back the covers her lunged for the musket Jonathan had been teaching her to use. Clutching the weapon close to her chest she edged her way up the stairs. What she saw, would scar the woman for life. Not only was this the first time seeing the brutallity of battle on a pirate ship...but the things where inhuman. They where monsters.

Scared, her arms lightly shaking with fear, she aimed towards the onslaut of the hord and fired.....
