Laughter that was more filled with mirth than bitterness or malice came at the leopards series of statements and growls. Uri could always run if things too a nasty turn.
"Oh you're welcome to any of the lady cheetahs around here, so long as you treat them right. But not all of them have spots, Stripes. My adopted daughter doesn't, nor my mated friend." Mated being married, else he'd have tried a bash at her himself...just his luck, that.

"Well, with your consent or not, I would have socialized with those females anyways. Actually, I have already, she is my travelling companion. Though... I get the impression she does not want to get serious with anyone either...."
Ba'rku sighed and looked around. His attempt to find a home failed, at least this time around. He would have to rejoin Freya in a few moments, but in time they will get together again.
"No, no, spots I like, stripes not so much. I suppose it is because you cheetahs are like us leopards but on lands and that I don't have them myself..."

"I was joking about giving you consent - it hardly matters to me. Well, goodluck with your Freya, and her spots, Stripes. I've got to run."
With a roughish wink, Uri set off. He'd had enough of the pity party. If the leopard wanted to chat he could blooming well run too. The cheetah, however, wanted to enough his speed and forget his loneliness.

"Well.... that was annoying..."
He murmured watching the other one run off leaving him all alone again. Looking around he could see that it was about time to get back to her and either keep going to settle down for the night. It seemed eitehr way, he'd be with Freya.
Ba'kru sighed and just head back in the direction where he came from. Freya was bound to be somewhere, she would not just leave him would so?
