"Who does?" For a moment it didn't compute but then Maryke's expression hit it home. Richard's face flashed through a bewildering number of expressions, shock, disgust, bewilderment, horror all fought for the same real estate for a moment be he looked away. How was that even possible!
He didn't want to know. It really wasn't his business and he certianly wasn't going to make it his business. "Fine then. Just remind him that my name is Mr. Richard Harrison. And if he has different opinion then he better keep his bloody beak shut! That's all I'm asking." He fought to keep some growling but a little one slipped out anyway.

Maryke was silent for the longest time. Of course what, or rather who, she did didn't matter to anyone, but it was embarrassing! She was never a woman who would just date based on her heart, or any such thing. It was more based on appearance then anything else. And that line of thinking was still inside of her no matter what she looked on the outside. She clamped her maw shut, eyes ticking down to the limb she was currently crouched on, finally she turned back towards him to answer his next line of question.
"Will do, Mister Harrison," she replied cooly, hoping upon hope that she could just forget he probably knew.

"Good." Richard nodded in approval then took a deep calming breath, willing all those little hairs on the back of his neck to stand down. The tentacle's stayed on alert although they no longer quivered. He bent down to retrieve the notebook and pen from the grass. Then cast a baleful look in the monkey woman's direction.
"Good Day Madem." Then he turned, walking off in the direction of his duplex.

As soon as the lemur saw him leave completely she let out a very audible sigh of relief, but didn't bother to leave from her safe place in the tree. It was fine though, she could stay up....here anyway. Letting out another wayward sigh she finally settled. She had a feeling she wouldn't be seeing the last of him.
