Eventually, Elliot realized that CJ had already integrated himself in Elliot's life and it would not be the same without him. He started to appreciate CJ's presence and tried chatting with him often. CJ's very quiet, though. After much practice, CJ began developing some tricks for himself that would help Elliot escape troubles brought upon himself due to his adventurous spirit.

Place: A Route towards the City
Time: Elliot is a young adult.
Environment: Lots of currents and plantlife.
One day, Elliot decided that he must try to meet someone of his own kind. CJ couldn't recall much from his past and his memory swings make it hard for Elliot to trust his words. Sometimes CJ says that it is dangerous on the other side of the reefs. Other times CJ longs for it. Even so, Elliot is determined to explore outside these boundaries.

Elliot lets out a big yawn as he jumps out of his bed. "CJ!!! Where are you? Today is the start of our big adventure!!"

A sleepy CJ half-opens his right eye and moans a bit before closing his eyes and going back to sleep. Elliot opens up the doors and curtains to let the sun shine in and wake CJ. Elliot lightly nudges his pillow and pleads, "Aww... Wake up. You promised you'd come with me to the other side of the reefs. Come on; it's not as dangerous as you said it was."

CJ opens both eyes and looks at Elliot. "I don't think it's dangerous. I've been there before."

"There you go again with your memory loss," Elliot mumbles. "Wake up, or else I'm going to leave you here by yourself."

CJ immediately crawls out of bed to wash his face. "Yes, I am coming. I am almost done." He nibbles on some breakfast and prepares to embark on their new journey.

Elliot swooshes past the rocks and into a cave. "Wow, this place has so many different species of plants and tiny animals." Elliot takes out his notebook yet again to write down his discoveries.
The two travel for days. Elliot is still as energetic as ever but CJ is not quite so. The seaweed and clams they have collected for food have been running out. Out here, they don't know if everything is edible.
