She bit her tongue not to spout Trelweny's favorite expression that 'to assume makes an a** out of U & ME' and nodded. "Yes. I want that very much. I will learn them."
A small sparkle lit her green eyes to see Endless return and with a bow to Severus added "But if you'll forgive me... I think I will focus better with something inside me."
The truth was, except for the hot chocolate milk & marshmallows the night before, Liliana had not eaten since lunch. It took a sheer amount of willpower to keep her stomach from grumbling as she went to meet Endless at the door.
"Thank you." She spoke to the sky pelt kitsu softly, more to not bother the potions master than to keep anything from his hearing. Remus' daughter felt no need to be secretive. "You'd probably best not be here while I'm in lessons, Endless. But..." And she looked very much like a nervous kit at that moment, as if worried the mornings events would change everything. Lily lightly touched her nose to his cheek. "I will see you again, won't I?"

Severus frowned, and watched the two. Havent they defiled the classroom enough. "See that you do" He said acidically. His tails flicking behind him.
The potions master made a point of eating before coming to the classroom, but then again if you slept in the classroom you cant very well eat before going there. But that was why one, usually didnt sleep there. He turned his head to Frank "How about hopping over to the supply cabinet and grabbing what will be needed for wolfs bane?" he asked the little guardian, who was about to protest but was glared into obediance

Endless kept his face impassive but inwardly he was seething mildly at Severus. Certainly it was his classroom, but still... the two of them did not warrant the looks he kept giving. "I was going to go get something to eat myself, I'll probably be around for a while, though I will have to go later. Hopefully I'll still be around when you get out of class, but if I'm not I'll try to find you later." With a murmured goodbye and a half-bow he made his way back outside the room and toward the kitchen.
((Thar, he done. :B You two can finish the lesson or... not. Whatev. XD))

She winced a bit at what Severus tolk his guardian, suspecting that it was at least in part a brand of the potions master's discipline. Just salt in the wound to remind Liliana that he was displeased with her and drive the point home. Remus' daughter stiffened but said nothing.
Liliana nodded as Endless left, then ate her toast as quickly as was ladylike possible. With a flick of her wand she sent the empty plate back to the kitchen, leaving no crumbs behind. Then she turned, pulling her homework from herbag as normal to set it on the corner of the professor's desk before going to her own desk and quietly setting up. She knew there was no more to say -she had already said too much, more than was probably needed. No. Words would not redeem her in Severus' eyes. Only deeds.
And Lily intended to regain her lost standing by them.
((If you want, we can fast forward the lesson. *makes face & grins* No reason to stress ourselves with trying to figure out the details if you don't want to or it causes stress or... yeah... rambling.))

The potions master nodded in mild approval as Frank returned with what was needed for the mixture. According to Severus's calculations, Remus would need another shipment soon, a shipment which would be delivered by the guardian, as always. Severus himself had little contact with Remus. Severus had little contact with everyone really.
He watched Liliana, with scrutinizing gold eyes. Redemption was not easily acquired when it came to Severus. His eyes clearly displayed the thoughts going through his mind, as he weighed wether or not to give her the chance to redeem herself, was she worth the trouble she was turning out to cause? A tail flicked. He had openly scorned her for jumping to assumptions, bringing her father into it to drive the point home. If he turned his back upon her now, for an error of judgement, he would be considered a hypocrite, for many times in the past did he give others another chance at redemption. His own son being amongst those who have erred, many times, and still managed to redeem himself. No. He had no choice but to give Liliana a second chance.
However, he didnt have to let her know the reasons behind his decision, the more she sweat, the harder she'd remind herself what she stood to lose. Or so was his reasoning.
xD That would be imensely appreciated *laughs* Since personally, i dont know a thing about potions. So just fast forword to Remus then? If you'd still like to bring him in?

For the rest of the lesson the crimson furred female only spoke when absolutely necessary. On the rare occasion that something needed to be said her voice gave nothing away. It held the proper amount of respect and showed no emotion other -only a diligence to do her very best. No other thought seemed to enter her head & it was very likely it did not.
When the lesson ended Liliana dutifully wrote down her assignment and put her things away. As she slung her bag over her head she gave the potions master one single sad and apologetic look -understanding how she had failed him though certainly not the implications the 'sleepover' gave. In that she was fully innocent. With a heavy sigh wondering if she would ever redeem herself yet grateful Severus had at least continued to teach her she sighed heavily & left the classroom, disapparating just outside the doorway.
Not a minute after his winged daughter had left headquarters Remus Lupin bounded into headquarters with an almost frantic energy never before seen in the laid back scholar. He skidded to a halt, looking inside the open door to the potions classroom without crossing the threshold. "Liliana!"
Not seeing her inside his shoulders slumped. The look he gave Severus showed a fear of asking an unspoken question -one where one is afraid more of an unfavorable answer than the asking itself. "Severus... my friend... was she... did Liliana show up for her lesson today?"
His dark eyes pleaded to be told she had, that he had just missed her. Remus knew that it would take much for Liliana to miss her lesson & parental worry had him thinking all the worst possibilities.

The potions master lifted his head, he'd been going over various papers. Golden orbs took in Remus's presence, briefly he thought of dragging out the truth, but the scholar had been through enough in Severus's eyes.
Giving in he nodded and smiled softly "Yes, she was here, you just missed her actually" He said with a flick of his tails. As an afterthought he reached into a drawer of his desk and pulled out a case, that contained his next supply of WolfsBane. He placed it on the edge of the desk "You should be running low, if my calculations are correct"

The evident relief on Remus' face spoke more than the most elegant words. Of course there was the expected disappointment to be seen there too. "oh thank Heavens. When she didn't return home last night... Well, if she came to her lesson I'm sure nothing is wrong."
His use of contractions showed as much as anything else the turmoil of emotions inside. Worry was etched on his face, not understanding why his daughter who had always been close to him & confided in him would disappear without a word after Nari & he had told their children the good news. At seeing the case of Wolfsbane potion however the werewolf kitsu discontinued anything else he might have been about to say in a mixture of humble gratitude & something like shame. "Ah yes. Of course your calculations are correct. Thank you, Severus. I am eternally grateful."
Remus padded quietly to the desk amid the rustling of his black robes. He took the box of wolfsbane potion & tucked it away in an inner pocket carefully. The anxious father within wanted to ask of his erstwhile daughter but Remus wondered if the potions master would even know. Yes, Severus taught Liliana but it was doubtful the two exchanged confidences. Remus sighed heavily then gave a wan smile. "I had hoped to catch her before she left if she was here, but at least I did not disturb lessons."

Severus nodded softly, his eyes half closing. He thought of making a comment on Liliana's disrespect for the classroom even after hours, but, despite everything, it was not his place to let Remus know what Liliana did during the evening. "She seemed fine during lessons" Not a stretch from the truth.
Making small talk he asked "How is Nari and the kids?" He tilted his head to the side slightly, tails swaying softly.

Remus' eyes lit up to speak of his mate. "Nari is doing wonderful. We are expecting again." There was an incredulous wonder at his good fortune that flowed over his words like a honey balm. It was followed by a confused sadness. "Though our grown kits have not taken the news as well as I would have hoped."
No doubt he was thinking of Liliana's disappearance & sighed. With a smile drawing from joy over his worry, Remus asked. "But how are you, your mate & your many progeny? Do you see them often?" Chocolate banded tails wagged happily for the potions professor, glad that he had found a happiness here it did not seem he had known before.

Severus nodded softly, he knew he was blessed that his own children took the news relatively well, even though they were greatly surprised that their folks had done it again, literally. "I'd heard through the grape vine, that you two had ones on the way..." He paused briefly, tilting his head to the side lightly "Carmilla just recently surprised us all with more eggs. four more little ones will be running around shortly" He said with a light chuckle, still a bit shocked by it all.
"I dont see them as often as i'd like, but everyones doing well i've been told. Nessa just had her first litter of eggs, i was made a grandfather and father practically in the same day" He shook his head lightly, that was a memorable day indeed.

That caused his tails to wag in happiness & something else that is hard to put to words. "That is wonderful news! Congratulations, in double order!"
Remus saddened slightly, thinking that it might be a long time before he knew what it was like to have grandkits but it did not dishearten him much. After all.. he had never thought to have kits in the first place. He just wanted his children to be happy. That reminded him of his erstwhile daughter & he worried for her anew. Though the flow of his thoughts flickered in eyes that had no need to hide his feelings Remus otherwise did not advertise his inner thoughts by voiceing them. "That is quite impressive, Severus. How many are you up to now?"

He inclined his head lightly, in a thank you of sorts. " That brings us up to 12 children, and probly three times as many grand-pups. I know Chaos has had two litters with his mate, Absy has had a litter, as has one of her offspring. Some of Chaos's older ones have had kids. The family tree grows larger by the day it seems. Leaving an old dog to wonder where the time has gone" He chuckled lightly, he was an old dog, soon he'd be entering the 'great-great-great gramps' stage.
He didnt dwell to much on that though, it would just depress him. Altho he had new pups to look forword to, so that counter-acted the other trail of thought.

Of course Remus remembered that Severus had 8 children previously so with the addition of 4, though it was staggering for him to think of 12 children, was really not that surprizing. Still the potential amount of grandchildren and even great-grandchildren set Remus' mind spinning. There was a heavy yet at the same time hopeful feeling in his heart at the thought of his children finding mates of their own and starting families. He wanted his kits to be happy, to find the happiness he had found despite feeling that he was undeserving. For he knew they did deserve it. And the prospect of grandkits... well it made something glow with warmth inside him. Yet at the same time, he wanted to hold onto his kits as young forever. Especially his girls. Remus knew it was irrational & ill-logical, but ration & logic seldom have much sway over feelings.
"Three generations. Amazing. Time certainly does keep moving." He smiled happily for the potions master. "And I have probably taken up much of your time, Severus. Thank you for indulging me."
With a dip of his head, Remus made ready to leave.

The potions master nodded softly. Grandkits would likely be the death of him, let alone his children. He chuckled softly.
"Time tends to slip away when one isnt paying attention. Then again, even the most diligent have a way of losing track of time. " He shook his head with another light laugh. "Has Nari had the eggs yet?" He wasnt sure what their egg situation was like, if she'd had them yet or not.
