I can see him as someone who is interested in musical theater. Ooh, isn't that original?

Erik is lonely and can't NOT kill people XD They'd call themselves "Lonely in Literature" or "Ashes to false Ashes" or something like that XD Erik would be the "gloomy keyboardist," Hamlet woud be the bassist and sing, and Harry would pretend to play guitar xd heart heart heart I can totally see that! That's funny! YYEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! heart heart heart heart

GarrisonKael He definitely would not be goth. Erik came off as dressed in black because he dressed in the finest clothes of the time period. I would envision a high school Erik as a very well dressed, probably over-dressed for high school kid. It depends which version you're going by. If you draw from Kay, he had a thing for wearing all black before he started dressing in only evening suits.

Kaliea_1 oops I forgot what I was about to say whenI came here... but what do you think about Christine? hmmm that one's almost as hard. But I think I see her not as very popular, but the type that people say "Oh, she'd be so pretty if she only (enter nitpicking comment here: smiled sometimes, didn't wear such baggy clothes, sat up straight, "put more effort in", etc.)!" She probably wouldn't be anything but very quiet, and probably wouldn't wear much (if any) make-up or think much about her clothing and things like that. She'd probably get mad at herself when she got a B.

I don't know, I usually find Erik as the Dark romantic everyone wants or as the dark evil villan. I think there's so much more to his character that not a lot of people know about. confused

The sad thing is, he'd probably be my best friend, considering that I'm a) in theatre. b) a total social outcast myself. I can see him sitting next to me right now as I type this in on the computer, laughing his head off at the silly things people write about him...
That just gave me a great idea to start a fanfic around! Yay!

That "people would pick on him except that they're afraid he would kill them" stereotype actually reminds me of this kid in my highschool. He's kind of thin and spindly wears the traditional geeky glasses but he is definantly a little bit off in the head, he's always talking about death or some way to kill something although he still has that amiable air that doesn't really make me think he would do anything. He sat in front of me during art class one semester and he would always lean back and show me his drawings, he always drew these....crazy....dinosaur drawings with like twenty laser guns and all these...crazy weapons I would never conceive of. I thought he was a amusing and always fun to talk to although sometimes he was hard to understand but I pitied him because alot of other people thought he was really weird. Maybe next time I see him I'll ask if he's really a phantom on his spare time o.<

Perhaps minus the dinosaurs with the laser guns. Also sounds like somebody I'd go out with. Hooray for geeks!

I don't really see Erik in all black, except maybe on occasion, and even then it'd be nice slacks and a black turtleneck or something classy. Really he would just dress well. Slacks and a blazer type thing, maybe. Though I do think he'd stick to dark colors, as I think he chose black to make it easier for him to move around unnoticed, not to be emo/goth. Then again, where an Opera house has lots of dark places, a school wouldn't, so meh.
Anyway, I imagine he'd spend all of his time in class reading/drawing/doing math (And not baby math, like algebra, no. He'd be doing calculus. Or harder stuff that I don't know. Ever seen teh TV show Numb3rs? Thats Erik, right there. (cute) little freak.). He'd participate only occasionally in class discussions, and loved to bring in controversial issues and challenge people's assumptions. I'd imagine the speech/debate team begged him to join up. He'd sit in the back of the classroom, but not in the OMG-I-don't-want-to-be-here or the I-really-hope-no-one-notices-me kinda way, just in the This-was-the-only-seat-available kinda way. He'd be in honors/advanced placement classes, most def., yet he probably wouldn't study at all. He might even tutor other kids in, say, calculus or chemistry.
He'd definintely be in chorus and concert band, 1st chair violin. I don't think he'd be in the school play, I think he'd help run the school play, like casting and such. He'd probably eat lunch in the library, as well as help the librarians out with...librarian...stuff...
He'd probably get picked on, but would just ignore it with, say, cool indiference, or a witty comeback. He'd probably be intimidating without actually trying at all, just because he knows he's better than everyone else, can prove it, and could kill them if he felt like it.
