Hi I am supporting the political left wing. I tend to extreme debates, and I s**t on political correctness, because it is just a tool to let you say anything except the true thought.

My arguments are not spoken with chosen words, because I think this leaves the common language of the people.

There is alot which freaks me out, so it'll look like I am someone who thinks everything sucks.

Also I often take the contraspaces, like being contrareligious.

Hello, my name is Andrew. I am 15 years of age and enjoy playing video games, reading, and discussing politics. I do not consider myself a Democrat nor do I consider myself a Republican (I hate bipartisan politics). I am a Democratic-Socialist but, y'know, independent parties like the Socialist Party don't have any power in the U.S so when I am old enough to vote I may have to join the Democratic Party. Well I guess that pretty much covers it.

Hi! I am a registered democrat. I tend to be very liberal in my ideals - but I always listen to both sides and try to be fair. I am active in local and state politics.

Dronze, 22, I am neither democrat nor republican, I prefer the standpoint of Moderate.

The left wing is completely ineffective at getting things done, and the over-zealous far right should be rounded up and shot.

I am pro-choice, which does not mean that, given the option, I would like to have one of my own aborted, but I believe that a pregnant mother should have the option, if she deems it a needed decision, to terminate a pregnancy.

I am a firm supporter of assisted suicide, and staunchly support a person's right to die.

I support a non-felon's right to own multiple firearms, and the right to carry their firearm in appropriate settings, either open or concealed.

Church and state should be separate.

Homosexuals have as much right to be happy as anyone else, let them get married.

this is just a small sampling of my views, and while I may not agree with yours, I will, indeed, die to defend your right to have them.

Don't take that to mean that I won't bear my teeth in a debate and pick you apart piece by piece, however.

I used to have leftist leanings but now believe liberals have lost their minds.

Hello, and thank you for inviting me into this guild. 3nodding You can call me Bee. I'm a high school sophomore, and I live in the DFW area of North Texas. I do not consider myself a member of any particular political party, though most of my views are liberal. I am an environmentalist, and I take "hippie" as a compliment. I am a huge supporter of animal rights. At the moment, I'm focused on the Canadian Seal Hunt, and am doing my part to bring an end to the slaughter.

Thank you again, everyone. It's great to see other people my age with brains!

My name is Aaron. I have studied politics extensively in school and I have concluded that I hate all political parties. I believe that the two-party system should be abolished. I will admit that I hate the democrats slightly less than the republicans. In terms of ideology, I am definitely a liberal.

Hi, my name is Rene Sarabia a 17 year old male that lives in the Philippines and I am into politics. (Heck, Political Science is my College Course)

Adhere to the philosophy of the golden mean and proactive-centrism.

I take most of my inspirations from Jose Rizal, Mahatmma Gandhi, Nelson Mandella, Roosevelt, Chiang Kai-Shek and Al Gore

I am part Chinese and also adhere to the Confucian-Taoist-(Jesuit)Catholic hybrid strain of Christianity most Chinese-Filipinos adhere to, but this is only due to preservation of tradition. On the religous side im more on the Evolutionary Metaphysics kind of guy.

Like Jose' Rizal I am a centrist-reformist, and I try my best to be as multi skilled as him!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Rizal

Like Mahattma my heart bleeds for the billions who live below the poverty (trust me when I say this: "MOST AMERICANS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT POVERTY REALLY IS")

Like Nelson Mandela I am sooooooooo ******** against racism and I hate this neo-nazi pseudo-scientific "Bovine Audure" [Pardon my french]

Like Roosevelt I am a hopeless believer in the inherent goodness of the human spirit, a goodness only tainted by social dogma and overcapitalistic tendencies [Capitalsim is good but not its monster form "Run Away Imperialism"]

Like Chiang Kai-Shek I am also vehemently anti-communist but pro socialist-capitalist

Like Al Gore im a greenie-hippie, I KNOW that Capitalism and Environmental Conservation are compatible and I KNOW that the concept of sustainable growth has been downplayed and repressed by Industrialist Oligarchs Entrenched in the Global Economy.

I'm Jacob but you can call me whatever the hell you want. I'm a Marxist-Leninist-Gramscist-Maoist (In short- I'm a communists). I hate the democrat and the republican parties in the U.S., I hate the Soviet Union after Lenin died, after Mao died the P.R. of China became worthless and I have nothing against him but I won't defend Chavez. I also refuse to debate communism, although I will debate socialism gladly.

Hi, I'm John, and I'm Canadian. I consider myself to be a libertiarian and have no affiliation with any Canadian or American parties (although I don't think the Conservatives are so bad).

I differ from most libertarians in that I am not pro-choice. In my opinion, the right to do what you want with your body ends when another person becomes involved.

I am extremely skeptical of the so-called terrorist threat. While I am certainly not a 9/11 conspiracy theorist, I believe that the government and media have been extremely deceptive about other terrorist plots.

I do not believe global warming is caused by humans, and I don't believe it's a serious problem. I especially disagree with the idea that the government should try and save us from it.

That's my views in short. Thanks for letting me join the guild.

Hey hey

I'm Capricornicus. I'm 21 years old and the American-equivalent of a Democrat. I'm a card carrying member of the Australian Labor Party. The Federal Election is happening here in the coming weeks and months so I've been out working for the party promoting our candidates.

I'm also actively involved in student politics around the country.

I look forward to chatting to you all.

Hi, I'm Jeff, and I joined the guild today (see post date). I'm an American who grew up as a Republican and then became a Libertarian. (Note to guild captains and crew: Add Libertarian meeting Place smile )

I been in many flame wars and hate them. I don't have time to waste on people who attack me personally or ridicule me for something I didn't actually say. Therefore, I tend to avoid or skirt topics that invite emotional retribution.

However, I do like to refine the language used in debate. There are so many words bandied about with ambiguous or incorrect meanings. Take "liberal" for instance; it is derived from "liberty", but many Americans use it for policies and people that would grant government control over so many things.

I had better stop there. I'll just add that if you dislike the Dems when they would take control of your money, and you dislike the Reps when they would take control of your private life, then maybe you're a Libertarian who wants government to focus on a few necessary peacekeeping tasks and not intrude where its not absolutely needed.

If so, then I look forward to meeting you. If not, then I look forward to completing your education wink

Hello, I was just invited. Sounded like a cool guild, so I joined. I will state up fron that I refused to be labeled, politically. I don't like either major political groups, and so I pick and choose which issues are important to me. I don't even like the term "independent" because that, to me, marginalizes my beliefs. I don't like to be stuck in one place, even if it's a place that's got openings in all directions. I don't talk much, but will speak if spoken to. I will be in and out of forums, but if you want to chat with me drop me a message and I'll reply. cheese_whine
