Savina xXxSuicidalxRomancexXx Okie thanks.<3!. I dont like the side affects, reading it makes me cry, im like worried and screard about the affects. my cramp feels better. ; ) my bf thought I was getting pregnet.O_o Yeah, wippy woo So, if your boyfriend was afraid you were pregnant... that implies you're having sex... in which case, you should DEFINITELY get on birth control. Yes, the side effects are scary. However, they are also very, very rare. Good point. If you don't like the side effects for the hormonal birth control, at least make sure you're using some form of birth control. Spermicide and condoms are available over the counter without the side effects that pills have.

I figured it would be better to revive this instead of creating my own (if it's a problem, just let me know) Ok, so I'm 20, I've been having my period since around age 12. My cramps were always bad to the point where I'd have to have my mom come pick me up from school. A few months ago (maybe a year) My cramps have gotten worse. I'll curl up in a ball crying. I've tried many things. Motrin, Advil, Pamprin, Midol, etc., none of it works. I've tried birthcontrol (the pill), but I could never remember to take it (horrible memory) Curling up can only do so well, along with pillows and heating pads. I've tried going to the gyn with my mom, but it's almost impossible to find a decent docter now a days. I'm begging you! Please gonk Even if you just have theories or ideas I will be your gunnie pig! *begs* I just want the pain to stop.
Other than that, my period's regular (give or take a few days) and only last 4 days with heavy bleeding on the second day (cramps are usually on the first or second day)

If you forget to take the pill, you can try setting an alarm or multiple alarms. You can also talk to your ob-gyn more about it. Be honest and tell her you forget to take the pill. She might have more suggestions or tips for you. If your ob-gyn isn't very good and won't sit down to talk to you, don't be afraid to look for another. I always had the best luck at Family Planning. The women at the Family Planning that I went to would always sit down to talk and explain things.
