I like anime previews that are kind of like music videos, and I don't care if it explains what the series is about or if it's just random pictures flying around.

My favorite anime preview that I saw would have to be the Excel Saga preview and that was just the shows normal opening with different scenes put in so I would have to say the music video with random scenes one. Even though that is what I would say I feel it is unfair to judge due to preference and I might find a preview with a different format that I like as well, so I say no opinon to the question.

i like the narration without the music. otherwise i get confuzzled.
give me a link to the music, that's fine, but don't swamp me with effects when i want to see plot, characters and art.

A mix of the second and third options.
My favorite preview EVER was the one for Puni Puni Poemi. Had me laughing SO much. (The one that had the "In the interest of creating a trailler available to the widest possible options, we have removed anything that could be offensive to all audiences.................................. Okay, that didn't work".... Yeah, that one. Best trailer EVER.)

I don't really care. I rarely watch previews for anime, and even if I do it's usually merely the opening theme or clips of the first episode. Though I do like ones that narrate some of them.

Well, I like a little narration in my previews. Sometimes you just see lots of pretty images flashing on the screen, but it tells you nothing. If I have a little idea what the story is about, I might be more likely to buy it.

I love the previews that are just music and random video from the series. I can't stand it when the stupid American voiceover guy talks over the preview.

I've always been a fan of music videos... I admit that narration has it's good parts, but there's just something about music and visuals that I find rather... mesmorizing.

I like a combination of options two and three.
An example would be a preview of Please Teacher! where the preview was played to a music video showing random images, but between every random images was a black screen with white writing giving details of what the series was about.

I like the music videos with random clips but with a short introduction at the beginning.
