Aislinn was caught by surprise just now noticing that Faye had been hugging Ruka. She was torn in half, she felt a twinge of anger but it was quickly supressed by the joy of seeing Faye again. She looked over at Ruka, unsure of what to think. He didn't seem to like any girls save maybe Jada and Sukkubus.
"Hi, Ruka..." the cherub started. She wasn't sure what else she could say to him. She didn't think he would talk to her and decided not to say anything else. Instead, she turned her attention to Faye. "Have you seen Lani?" she asked her friend.
Miette looked at the various dog tahnees. There was a red-headed boy near a window and moved over to him. He didn't look very happy, he almost seemed shy. The mouse tilted her head to the side looking at him before looking to the others. Perhaps it would be better to find one that looked like they wanted to talk.
The mouse scuttled to the middle of the room taking a deep breath. She was going to be very direct about this. She was just going to ask and hope someone answered. "Um, excuse me, what are you?" she asked quietly. She blushed brightly, feeling like her face was on fire. Maybe after someone answered she could hide.

Eight ((Holy crap, purple and darkmagenta look almost the same. x.x)) "Are they real?"
"Yes dear, now--ow--can you stop? They're kind of attatched..." Pandora winced softly, smiling when the cherub finally let go of her ears and looking down at Tuck. Siblings? Wasn't it obvious? "Mhm, we're twins." One hand rose to gesture to her eyes and hair before she tugged at the collar of Liam's shirt to lean him over enough to show off his own eyes, the exact same colors yet in the opposite eye. "Liam's taller by a couple inches, but we're twins alright!" She giggled, watching Liam squirm out of her hold and lean back against the arm of the couch. Girls could be so weird sometimes, at least Pandora was getting the fun she wanted. That girl was always good with people.
"...RUKA!" Faye squealed, flying towards him and throwing her arms around the boy in a hug. She hadn't seen him in AGES! The cherub spun around with him a few times, never letting go of the blonde cupid. "Look at all the dogs! Aren't they cool? They're all so different! And their ears are real and they have tails and those two have TWO colored eyes! And they're twins and that girl is kinda quiet and--AISLINN!" First Ruka, now Aislinn! This was so wonderful! Now they needed Lani and this would be perfect! The cherub finally let go of Ruka and hugged Aislinn instead, knowing she could ramble to her without being called a cootie-head.
"Lookit all the dogs! Aren't they cool?!" ((Made my own RP area! biggrin ))"That's cool, I wish I had a twin, that'd be kinda neat..." He watches Sophia curiously.Sophia just shrugs. "No way we could be twins. I'm a kitty girl, an' you're a fox boy. Couldn't be twins."

((You don't need to quote the posts, Niko dear. <3))
"No, I haven't seen Lani yet. But I just got here! We've got alllll day to look for her! She's got to come today!" She just had to! It wasn't the same when there was only two of them. The cherub looked around and let go of her friend, frowning and tapping at her chin. "But if she IS already here...where do you think she could be hiding? Momma said to find something else to do until she gets here, or just sit and wait...but that's boring..."
---
Eight blinked and stared at Ioyla, rolling her eyes and snickering. "Dork...Sukku!" The halfling squealed, running over to the devil and hugging her tightly. The last time she saw her she was drunk out of her mind, it was nice to see her sober for once. "How've you been? I haven't seen you since Enoh and Nio's wedding!"
One headwing lifted at a sudden gag, looking up and watching Ioyla curiously. Huh...what was up with her? Eight shrugged when she was grabbed, letting go of Sukku with a smile. "I'll cook you something soon, Ioyla. You're not going to die of starvation."
---
"Hm? Thanks, Yeos. I've been working on that thing for weeks."
"Such a girl."
"I am not." Liam growled, glaring at Pandora until he was given that pathetic puppy dog face. Damnit. What was with women?! He glanced up at Yeos when she turned away, looking past her to see what she was looking at. Oh, the demon what with with that girl. Stop. Looking. At. Her. Liam. He scolded himself, mentally giving himself a kick in the stomach and looking around at a tiny voice. When he finally found the source he grinned, flicking his ears and shrugging. "We're dogs."
Pandora giggled down at the two children and winked her blue eye at them. "You don't want a twin, trust me; they get so annoying sometimes."

"Gragh!" Ruka was forcefully detatched from his mother's back and he turned to awkwardly hug the other girl. He blamed manners. His small face scrunched up as Faye began to babble on endlessly about...the dogs? He couldn't remember anymore; he had tuned her out the moment her lips had parted. His small wings buzzed at his back as he turned to regard Aislinn, green eyes blinking rapidly.
"Uh, hiya." He offered a sheepish grin, face reddening. Aislinn was a daunting figure for him, for some reason. She had an air about her that he felt miniscule around...hopefully no fire would be drawn from the way he was acting.
"I wanna pet one'em dogs," he stated casually, folding his arms behind his head and averting his attention.
She felt the stare.
Had she been in a more feral form, she would have had the grace to raise her hackles. But no, her shape was the picture of a human - save for the arrow-headed tail, the fuzzy ears, and the antelope horns spearing out of her head...yeah. Humanesque. Her upper lip quirked upwards as she turned the face the source.
The low growl was uncalled for. She couldn't keep it in. Damnit, dogs and a bloody demon! Lucifel was mocking her somewhere down in hell, no doubt. The b*****d. Sure, go ahead and throw out a load of demons into Gaia. Let them spawn. Just so we can watch little Sukku squirm! She averted her gaze and fixed it upon her child instead.
No fighting. None. Just ignore her. Even if she does look somewhat familiar...
Her orange gaze rose.
Damn.

Aislinn gave a smile to Ruka as a peace offering. She could give him a chance for Faye since her friend liked him as a friend. She looked at her friend thinking for a moment. "Lani might be in the television room or maybe the kitchen?" she mused outloud. Her attention wandered to Ruka's statement of wanting to pet one of the dog tahnee. She wondered if they felt soft, if they were furry, or if only their ears and tails were of fur leaving the rest of them bare skinned. "Do you think their fur is soft?" the cherub asked both of them.
The cherub's curiousity was starting to bloom. She almost was tempted to tug on one of the dog's ears or tail to answer her questions. She gave a blush at the thought, it was silly.

Ioyla's upper lip curled into a disgusted snarl. Oh Jesus, she thought, oh Jesus oh Jesus oh Jesus. Ioyla pushed a hand under her pilot hat. A low growl leaked from the middle of her throat, deep and warning. She took several steps back from Sukku, arms folding at the small of her back, bright gray eyes narrowed. "I'll be overe there if you need me, Eight," the demon girl said. The tone was cold and bitter, no usual humor in it at all.
Of all the devils ever created, and all the days she could finaly meet her...
Ioyla turned to walk away, the arms behind her back moving to her sides. Her hands curled into fists as she resisted every instinct to start a fight with Sukku. Instead, the demon walked towards Yeos and Pan, forcing a fake smile on her grim face. ---
Yeos nodded, throwing a glance over Pan's head. Ohh, the brunette was coming closer~! And she looked kind of mad. Better stay away for now. "It looks just like your sister, Liam," she commented, smiling cheerily. "Would you make me one sometime~?" Yeos moved closer to Pandora, hiding behind her a bit. The brown-haired girl looked kind of scary now.
Yeos blinked at Miette. She blushed back, equally embarrassed. No one had ever been so...forward before. "I'm a...I'm a dog," she answered politely.

Miette smiled nervously at Yeos giving a curtsy. Her blush deepened before she spoke, "Thank you!" As soon as the phrase was out of her mouth, she turned rushing to hide behind her mother. Her ears twitched as her tail curled up. She gave a soft squeak in fear thinking she would never do something to draw attention to herself like that again.
Ane gave a soft laugh bending down to pick up the mouse in her arms. "You did a fine job, little one," she whispered. She nuzzled her nose against Miette's much like an eskimo. With her back to the door, she didn't notice the familiar stranger that had gotten Kali in so much trouble.
Adam should've been a statue in all aspects. It was day but apparently his body hadn't yet adjusted to his new environment. He had no idea why he'd come here save being curious. There was a strange scent here and he wanted to see what was going on. Seeing children, didn't please him much as he pulled his orange hair back into a loose ponytail letting it drape against his back. His gray eyes scanned over the room finding that he looked like a peasant. His white shirt was still torn and now it was dirty as well. His pants had ripped and now fell just below his knees. He was still bare-foot and looked quite poor. "Well, this looks cozy," he stated slightly and he didn't sound at all happy about it.

Faye blinked and looked back at Ruka, then Aislinn. Huh, weird...oh well, it was probably just her imagination! Aislinn was too night to really hate someone, right? And Ruka wasn't that bad! He was nice too! ...Sometimes. The cherub grinned, hugging Aislinn with one arm and Ruka with the other. She loved her friend~! "I already looked in there! Let's go play with the dogs! I don't think they like it when you tug on their ears though, but they're really soft!"
---
Eight blinked and stared at Ioyla, feeling kind of awkward just standing there and watching her friend walk away. Was it something she said? Her wings drooped sadly as she stared after the demon, glancing back at Sukku with a sad smile before hurrying after Ioyla. "What's up? I don't think I've seen you behave like this in years..."
Hm? Who were these two? And why was that boy staring at her like that? It almost made her wish there was like...some big sign that said 'Yeah, hi. I've got a boyfriend, thanks anyway.' But that was probably just her imagination, no one but Alex looked at her that way! "Uh, hi."
---
Liam blinked and shrugged again, idly toying with his hair. Yeos really liked the plushie? Well it was better than her teasing him about sewing, anything was better than that actually. "I can try. It took me awhile to make one for Pan, but I'm sure I could make one for you." The boy murmured, turning to lie on the couch and drape his legs across his sister's lap like a foot rest, promptly getting a smack in the knee. His ear flicked gently at a voice getting closer, looking up to see who was coming now. His eyes widened.
s**t. s**t. Why was she coming over here?!
"Hi!" Pandora chirped, waving to Eight and Ioyla. The brunette looked kind of scary right now...but those wings! Pandora blushed softly and rubbed at the back of her neck. "Um...miss? Uh...I'm sure you get this a lot, but are those real wings on your head?" Eight blinked and turned her eyes up heavenward, the wings in question giving a flap when they were mentioned. Did they have ears or something?
"Unfortunately yes..."
"Can I touch them?" Eight paused and let that run through her head a couple times. Someone actually liked these things?! "If it isn't too bold or anything!" A soft smile spread across Eight's face, shrugging and sitting down next to Pandora.
"Eh, I guess I don't care. While your at it you can rip them off my skull and keep them for yourself if you like them so much."

Aislinn looked at Faye. Why had the cherub said that the dogs didn't like it when their ears were tugged on? Aislinn knew she hadn't said that aloud. Faye couldn't have read her mind and she hoped it was directed more at Ruka than herself. Maybe he had something about tugging on the dogs' ears.
She shook her head gently wrapping her arm around Faye in return. She was being paranoid or something. She didn't know what she was being. She felt odd all of a sudden, unnerved somehow. It seemed like her privacy had been disturbed and she wasn't sure what to think or how to make the feeling vanish.
"I...that's good," she replied slowly. "I mean, it's good that their fur is soft," she quickly corrected so the two knew what she was talking about. She nodded for no reason feeling like she had been ripped from reality and placed in a surreal dream.

"Oh, I didn't mean to offend...!" The green-haired girl piped up, her rather pale cheeks gaining the telltale signs of an embarassed blush. "I-its just that...I don't see many people sew...and..." She then sighed in defeat, her tail no longer wagging. Boy did she ever feel stupid. "Nevermind...But it does look like her, really! Its really good." The girl then fell silent again, waiting until she felt less embarassed before even attempting to get back into the conversation.
She did, however, glance back at the red-haired boy, another soft sigh escaping her lips...she'd only known him for a few hours, and she could already tell he was just...hopeless. A room full of people and he didn't even try to make a friend. Not that she was doing the best mind you...but still...at least she was trying.
He had long since moved onto the light side of the couch, finding that place warmer than the half and half spot he was sitting in moments before. His crystalline eye peered over his sunglasses (and through his hair as well) at the patrons of the room, studying them with not even a hint of his shy nature. When the small mouse girl moved towards him, his gaze moved down to her....but unfortunately, he didn't get the chance to speak with her before she moved away. Oh well...maybe next time.
Of course, he also caught the emerald eyes of his soon-to-be-sibling, his eyebrow raising the slightest bit, as if curious over why she was staring at him. Females were unusual creatures, but rather pretty at the same time.

Ane glanced over at the red-haired boy that Miette had looked at earlier. She gave a smile nodding her head as she walked over and placed the small mouse down beside him. Miette's light salmon eyes went wide at her mother. It was too soon to try making a friend now!
"Go on, say hello," Ane encouraged.
"Hello," Miette managed giving a nervous smile to the boy. It would be just her luck that he would be offended by her earlier antics of asking so bluntly what kind of tahnee they were. She was scared enough as it was only to find her mother moving away.
"You'll be ok, Mie. I'll be right back," she whispered. She smiled as she moved away promptly looking to find Prem.
---
Adam had relented not to say anything more for the time being. There were many things he could've said in hopes to insult people or just generally be a nuisance. Still, he figured perhaps he should fake a good impression for now. At least long enough to pick up Xiu Xue.
The blueberry haired tahnee made her way over to Adam. Her skin was snow white making her moon colored eyes seem dull in contrast. There was no doubt she was beautiful but she was to be more of a servant to take care of things while her guardian was...a statue.
"I'm ready, Mr...," Xiu started.
"Adam, just Adam," he corrected. "Come on, I don't know how much longer I have," he added.
"Of course, Adam." Xiu would've said good-bye had she known anymore there but she'd be back to make friends some other time she was sure.

Everything he knew this far was so... So boring! He wanted adventure! He wanted to see the world! The solar system! The Galaxy!
Oh yes. Aniak Ian Skaron had big, big dreams. He was going to do something worthwhile with his life, and the first step, was the one he took out the door, and back to the orphanage.
His first task? Get himself a weapon, and a vehicle, and get the hell out of here. Sure, now Dragonfly was taking care of him, but hey! She had to understand that he had a future to take care of! And that required leaving home for awhile.
He arrived with a cocky smirk across his features, and he ran a hand through his shaggy brown hair, before heading on in.

Ioyla shrugged, cupping her elbows, looking not unlike an insecure child. "It's nothing," she replied to Eight, casting a wary glare over her shoulder at Sukku. "I'm fine." She followed Eight towards Pandora and Liam, cocking a brow when Pan asked if she could touch Eight's wings.
"Jesus, you're a go-getter, ain'tcha?" She glanced at Yeos, wiggling her fingers for a wave. Yeos was cute, and Ioyla loved her bangs. "You needa place to stay?" Which was code for, "I think I'll take you home."
---
Yeos blinked at Ioyla's proposition. "...what?" Confusion was written all over her face. Place to stay? What the heck? Was this lady crazy?
"I said, do you need a place to stay? I've got some room in my apartment, and I'm runnin outta gold." Ioyla jingled her pockets. "Hear that? That's nothin compared to what 'Nelope's got." She elbowed Eight.
"Ummm..." Yeos pondered this, slipping a slim hand under her chin. Would she like to leave the orphanage? Of course! But Yeos couldn't exactly...say that, you see. She was shy. What if the lady was joking? What if she was a murderer? Deception!

Liam grinned and looked back up at Samira, shrugging his shoulders a bit. Was seeing someone sew really that big of a deal to her? He waved a hand up at her and shook his head. "Hey, don't worry about it. Pandora just mocks me so much about it that it effected my answer to you, don't blame yourself." He explained, still grinning up at the girl. Hopefully that would make her feel better; what kind of gentleman would he be if he let a girl stay upset and maybe even cry? Not a very good one, to say the least.
"Hey wait, we never got your name, did we?" Well it was only proper that she introduce herself as well, she knew his and Pandora's names but they didn't know hers.
Pandora was paying no attention to her brother and the other girl, too busy having fun and poking at this woman's wings instead. They felt so...weird! They were like leather! "...How do you wear hats?" Eight blinked, frowning soon after and folding her arms behind her head. How did she wear hats?
"I either stuff these wings into a big hat, make holes in the hat or just...not wear one. I hate these things." Eight sighed, looking up at Ioyla when she started speaking to a girl about needing a place to stay. Her face instantly brightened up, looking up at Ioyla with a proud smile...until she mentioned her money. The girl sighed in defeat and rubbed her temples. "Hey, it's not my fault you always spend your money and never save it. Just say it already! You want to adopt her!" She teased with a smirk. Pandora gasped softly and watched Yeos, beaming and glancing at Eight. Hm...would she ever be taken in? Eight sounded really nice even though she had just met her a minute ago! Eight suddenly whimped and slouched, staring at the front door with a pitiful pout. Where was Alex? The halfling rest her head on Pandora's shoulder and sighed, still staring at the front door.
