"Heard any of what, Wahabu? I didn't hear anything...."

Trig replied, relaxing his arms as they fall back in front of him, lacing them. What was he talking about? The only thing he saw was him being weird and that was it. Maybe he was ill or delusional. He was about to ask if he was feeling alright, well, that was until Kinari spoke up.

"Well, it seems the kid is a freakin' mental case. Should have just let him fal, maybe he would have landed on a pointy rock and that would be one less idiot around."

"Hey, enough from you."

Kinari scoffed.

"Wahabu, are you alright? What happened to you, you looked like you were in a trance or a daze. Have you been getting into some cactus juice or something?"

Kinari snarked and started to laugh. Cactus juice as most called it was a little liquid that made animals act funny. It was rare to find, but hey who knows.

((Cactus Juice = I made it up xD))

Great, now they thought he was crazy. He should have expected that from spacing out and then asking if they saw and heard whatever he saw. This had never happened before, though perhaps he should have known better when it felt like an intense day dream.

Now Wahabu did take the time to sit down and relax a bit. Clearly he was better off sitting down than standing up. He was sure what he saw was them, muuuuch smaller (especially in Trig's case) but them.

"N-no, I'm fine," he declared with a shake of his head to emphasize it, "Trig... K-kin-kinari? Su- something.." His eyes went back and fourth between Trig and Kinari as he tried to recall the words he'd heard in the scenes. Short bits of sentences, nothing really was logical except some seemed to be named- and Trig was one of the ones he was sure about.

Trig cocked a brow when another name was spoken. That wasn't his father's.... was it a random name? Maybe it was his brothers, it sounded male. Actually, sounded more female. Was it his mothers? fathers? Sisters? Trig opened his maw to say something, he closed it again and looked back down at him.

"Kinari?.... what's that?"

The dark maned male jerked as the bane tipped fell from his maw. His name. His head jerked around and his crimson eyes narrowed on the crazy male. How did he know his name? He did not say it, no one here would know his name unless they survived a fight with him in which case they were lucky. But he made sure not many survived after fighting with him. How did this male know his name. His eyes trailed up to the other lion. Trig was his name.....

"It's my name."

Kinari replied.

They both turned to Wahabu and both cocked a brow.

"Mind finishing what you started?"

Even Wahabu was a little surprised when Kinari admitted that it was his name he'd spoken. Now he felt the pressure of two sets of eyes upon him, wanting to know how he knew this. Even he wasn't so sure, he knew it was something about his dreams and somehow he just knew some things.

"Um, um," he stammered, trying to remember the names. They were only hard to remember when he tried to force it, for none of the names were really long or hard to say, "Ar-argoko? That one mean something to you both?" The poor adolescent looked a little confused. He wasn't sure what sense this would all make, but one thing he was sure about was the fact he knew their names and that they were familiar to him because they were brothers and he'd seen them in a dream.

Trig nodded.

"That's my father's name. You said you knew more about him than the queen herself. Tell me, what do you know? What has he been doing since I was gone?"

The large male urged him for answers, hoping that he could give him them. Who else did he have to turn to. His eyes kept falling onto Kinari, the dark maned male. His body was riddling with scars and it seemed like he didn't care about them. When he turned to him, he could see a scar over his right eye and a bit of his forehead. This male seemed dangerous, but why did Wahabu mention his name?

Who was Wahabu? Was he ill? How did he knew Kinari's name? So many questions floated around his head. Kinari, however, seemed uncaring about it and turned his head from them once again into the savanna.

"Argoko is your father?" Wahabu repeated after Trig, and glanced warily over to Kinari. He had to agree that the dark male looked less friendly, and even a bit dangerous. "I- um- I don't know what he's doing now, but I think I know something he did.."

It was a very vague statement, and Wahabu was looking at Kinari the entire time he spoke. As he opened his mouth to ellaborate, his gaze shifted back to Trig.

"You two are brothers," he said hesitantly. He had to trust what he saw, he'd been right about his mother being a goddess- suggesting these two lions were related, especially when Trig claimed his father had similar markings as Kinari, was much, much more believable. Even to someone who might well be crazy after such a trance.

Trig and Kinari looked at each other for a long moment. A moment had passed and the two looked at Wahabu. Another moment as they glanced back at each other.

"I can't be related to him!"

They both replied. It was then Trig made the first move.

"Look at him, he's darker than I am, his fur is scarred and scratched up. He can hardly take care of himself. And what is with his mane? It's jet black, mine is brown, last time I check, brown and black aren't the same." He was beign irrational, and out of his usual behavior. Something had set off somewhere.

"Well, sorry Mr. Neat-n-Clean. Being someone as big as you clearly shows that we aren't related. I am small you are big, opposites. You are insane to think I, Terror, and anything like you, idiot." Kinari growled and rose to his feet, the growl loud as it vibrated around the rocks around them.

"I refuse to admit it!"

they both cried out.

"What proof is there!?"

Wahabu coward back a bit as they stared at each other and then declared his statement impossible. They were a truly intimidating pair, Trig had his size and Kinari had his .. well, himself. This was not going to be easy to prove, especially when they already thought he was loony.

"I don't look much like my sister, aside from the spots and the red eye," he suggested with a nervous laugh, "You do have some matching fur. And Trig, you said Argoko has those line-y things."

This was not going well..

"I got the names right, why can't I be right about this?" he said in almost a whine. Wahabu was reluctant to explain the visions, to explain how he saw and heard things that were not currently happening, and it somehow connected the two of them together. And that it had happened before, and that was why they were familiar.

"Well, I'm waiting for some proof here, runt."

Kinari snarled.

"Wahabu, midn clearifying this.... I am lost."

Trig added, watching Kinari will a close eye.

((Ew, small post))

Well, at least he couldn't look much crazier.

"I- I had a dream, a while ago," Wahabu started slowly, hesitantly, clearly unwilling to admit it, "There was not a lot to it, but a lot of flashes of random bits. A-and- you were both there, but real small and together. And then just now it happened again, but I wasn't asleep. Someone said your names, and Argoko.. and something else."

Hell, he couldn't remember the other names now. What pressure there was before had certainly intensified. He explained how he knew, how he'd found Kinari and Argoko's names.. whether or not they believed him was another story.

"Saw us together? But we were smaller, I suppose you mean as cubs or something. As for Argoko being our father, it is a possibility, the likeliness however, is slim without some found theory or idea. This here is nothing but babble. I suggest you shut up before I make it so you can't talk at all."

Kinari growled and got to his feet, his bangs in front of him as his paws shifted before the other making his way to the other two males. He sneered at Trig and turned to Wahabu. Could anyone be trusted? The scar over his eye symbolized his lack of faith in anyone. No one can be trusted, if he did give it, it would be broken again.

"Wahabu, say if you were telling the truth, these dreams and.... and images. How can you be sure that they are true? I know my father and Kinari would know his. If you were to get us to believe that we are.... "brothers" then you must have some sort of memory or proof of it, right?"

Trig spoke as he kept a very close eye on Kinari. He could not be sure that he would not react toward Wahabu. If he said anything wrong, it seemed like Kinari would lash out at him. Luckily, he was there if such a case were to happen.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 19, 2007 11:10 pm

Wahabu looked at Kinari as he explained how little he believed what the seer said, and threatened him. It certainly seemed like it was not a good idea to cross Kinari, and Wahabu decided that he was best off talking only to Trig about this now. So he inched over a bit so Kinari was blocked from his view by Trig.

"I was told to pay attention to my dreams, and one much, much less likely dream has already proven true," he explained, though still somewhat doubtful. He was hesitant to say what it was, because he'd promised not to say anything, and it was not the point of this story. "You obviously don't know Kinari now, if you were born together as in my dreams, you obviously did not stay together.."

Now he was using logic, and a bit of his imagination. He'd seen nothing really clear indicating why the brothers were not together, though some separate images of them seemed to have surfaced. He would not be able to prove what he said, he could only be taken at his word.

Trig moved himself so that he was clearly in front of Kinari where the lion could not see the younger lion. He made a note to protect the other lion especially from this.... "brother", as Wahabu called him.

"So if we were together at birth and not know each other now then something happened when we were younger, maybe too young to remember anything at all."

Trig replied.

Kinari quietly thought to himself. The same questions that Trig had thought ran through his head. What was this male? Who was he? Who?

So many questions. THe dark male thought to himself as the other two conversed.

Wahabu was relieved to have Trig at least trying to go along with the idea and figure out what happened. He was a little unnerved knowing that behind the great golden lion was an angry dark lion. At least the larger one was on his side!

"Maybe your father would know," he suggested, "Or if Kinari wasn't so grouchy and we could ask about his parents. You stayed with your father, did he just get lost or somethin'?" Here he was suggesting that perhaps if Trig stayed with his biological parent(s), then perhaps Kinari got lost and was adopted..

"I've been with my father all my life, Wahabu. I've lived with him, hunted with him, worked with him. But he had been a bit... weird around the subject of our mother. I know she is dead, that's a fact as I learned it from another lion.... I came to believe he's my half-brother. He knew her name."

Trig spoke as he tried to think of answers. What could have happened to have Kinari taken from him? If they were brothers, then they shared the same father. The same mother. But.... how can he be? Where was he all those times? Trig turned and looked back at Kinari, looking for answers.

"My father's name is Kroga. However, don't bother, he's already dead. And if I am dumb or something, Argoko isn't Kroga."

Kinari's voice was sarcastic but still hinted of death lust and blood lust. His tone was dark. With a huff, he turned from them again, flicks a paw at them.

"How about illness over there go back to dreaming and figure something out."
